We are an empty nest couple who grew up visiting Ft Myers Beach on family vacations from our youth. We got engaged at the Pincher's Tiki Bar, at what was then the Holiday Inn, on New Year's Eve in 1986. We honeymooned at our parent's condo right next door in 1988 at the Sand Caper. We spent our spring breaks in Ft Myers Beach every year while raising our 3 girls. When the time came to invest in a property for our senior years, there was no question it was going to be Ft Myers Beach. While we are still working, we our sharing our future retirement landing spot as a rental. Hurricane Ian put a bump in our plans, but it's actually been a bit of a silver lining being able to reconstruct the home to our personal style, adding some elements to make it more entertainment-friendly. Ft Myers Beach is recovering steadily, and we can't wait to escape our Indiana winters there... but in the meantime.... it's yours!
