Key West became my BFF in 1999 when I purchased a wonderful two bedroom, one bathroom vacation condominium. I had visited the island for years for business and personal vacations and always hoped to buy a property there especially in the Truman Annex. Well I sold my public relations firm in 1999 and my two grown daughters and myself got on a plane the day after closing and came down and became home owners. Some years later, my oldest daughter Meaghan was married in Key West further cementing family history in the Conch Republic. I try not to sound like a real estate agent or a chamber of commerce salesman when describing Key West and the Truman Annex but it's hard because I love it here so much.
