Proprietor Elaine Fitzgerald was a TV news reporter for 15 years, then owned and operated a PR firm in South Florida. Today she is a hotelier, with five top-rated boutique properties by the beach. Elaine loves greeting her guests in person and ensuring that they have a great and memorable stay. She and her staff always go the extra mile for your safety and comfort.Elaine is professional, educated, raised with manners, active, healthy non-smoker and believes in always treating others with kindness and respect. Her hobbies are photography, travel and dancing (ballroom, Latin, Argentine Tango, Country, Swing and Hustle).Elaine is active in her community and serves on the Pompano Beach Economic Development Council, the city's Tourism Strategic Planning Team, and is the Tourism Chair of the greater Pompano Beach Chamber. She helped with the new logo and branding of the City, and teaches annually for Leadership North Broward.Among her awards, Elaine was named 2009 Small Business Person of the Year by the Pompano Chamber. In 2005, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber honored her with a Circle of Excellence award. The Association for Women in Communications named Elaine 2004 Woman of the Year for South Florida Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing firms. She is a past president of the South Florida chapters of both the Public Relations Society of America and the Association of Women in Communications.Elaine is a graduate of the University of Maryland.
