"Crazy Lure" has live shrimp for bait and is within biking distance for fishing in the canal in the backyard at Coral Palms.
The "Tiki Bar & Grill" at the Dolphin Key Resort is close by and has live bands on the weekends. They're always running specials and have reasonably priced drinks all the time. (1502 Miramar St.)
Other local favorites close by are Monkey Bar Steak and Seafood, Dixie Roadhouse, Cape Coral Farmer's market, Cork Soakers Deck and Wine Bar, and other all near 47th Terrace and Cape Coral Parkway.

I have stayed in many vacation rental properties and this is at the top of the list. First of all, the property is immaculate. The house, pool, and yard is very well maintained. The owners have put a lot of thought into providing anything you might need from kitchen supplies to pool floaties to kayaks. I love the screen enclosed pool area that opens up to the house and has a view of the canal. It’s a perfect place to sit for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. The location is very convenient to shopping, tourist attractions, and the beach. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the Fort Myers area.

This was a last minute booking. Seriously, we booked 7 days before. It was my husband, myself, my puppy, and my daughter and her boyfriend met us mid week. We had Key West plans but they fell through. Great thing! Wonderful vacation! I reached out to Crystal with just a few questions. She got right back to me. So easy to talk to. This house is amazing. Cozy and comfortable. Kitchen has anything you need. We parked our 23” boat in their back yard. Win! We love fishing and it was a short ride out to the open water. Hopping on the boat everyday, in the backyard… So happy we could bring our pup with us too! There were so many amenities, we didn’t get to use because we were out boating. This was our second time staying at Coral Palms and we enjoyed it even more this time. It is a well cared for, clean and beautiful home and property. Lovely landscaping, gorgeous pool and walkable, nice neighborhood. The pool temperature was perfect our entire 6 week stay thanks to the electric and solar heaters. No pool cover to mess with. The sunrise views from the pool area are just stunning. There are many extras available for use at Coral Palms. We enjoyed the pool toys, bikes, kayaks and beach equipment. The home is in a great location. We could bike to many nearby restaurants and the Farmers Market which were all less than 2 miles away. We rented a boat for most of our stay and love the direct water access and nice docking area. The fenced in yard was a plus as we brought our dog along. Also great with grandkids. Crystal and Joel have been fabulous to work with. Always available if we had any questions or concerns and they go the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay at their Cape Coral home. Joel even delivered my husbands Birkenstocks, he had mistakenly left behind, to our home in Minnesota! We have rented many homes over the past 20 years and appreciate working directly with the owners. We felt right at home in their beautiful Coral Palms. We hope to visit again!

Coral Palms is a great vacation rental. This was our fourth year there. It is located on a canal. You can fish off the dock or swim in the pool. Amenities include bikes, kayaks, fishing and pool equipment. The location in Cape Coral is very convenient as it is close to many eating places, grocery stores, etc. The owners of Coral Palms are great to work with and they are very responsive to any needs. Overall, this is a comfortable home and one I’m sure you will enjoy.

This home is the perfect place to spend a vacation! Three separate bedrooms and a pull out couch allows you to sleep 8 comfortably. The spacious kitchen has plenty of counter space to serve and prep meals. There is a dining area inside, but honestly, who would want to sit inside when you have a beautiful patio/lanai to sit and enjoy the view of the pool and canal. There is an outdoor grill area to cook while everyone is swimming in the pool or fishing off the dock. There are furnished amenities such as beach towels, fishing rods and bikes. The location is perfect for going to the Yacht Club Beach or a short drive to Fort Myers Beach. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby also. The hosts are courteous and responsive and really tried to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend!

We rented a boat and kept it at the dock - did some canal cruising and took it to Sanibel Island. Lobster Lady was a local favorite for lunch and Doc Fords was great for dinner! Would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay so much at Coral Palms. They literally have thought of everything to make a vacation exactly that….. a vacation!!!! Our family enjoyed our time together so much with all of the amenities and great care they took to make sure everything needed was there. Although we visited several hotspots in the area, our absolute favorite thing to do was hang out by the pool under the lanai, swim, and fish off of the fishing dock. We loved the open concept of the house, and no matter where you were you could see the beautiful view of the back yard and canal. Our kids kept saying over and over again, “We love this house!” Their ages range from 18 down to 5. They all enjoyed it, and had enough room and their own space. I love how they have updated the house and everything is so clean and modern. The kitchen was awesome! Crystal is so easy to communicate with, and answer any questions you may have. Overall, it was an awesome experience!

My husband and I along with our 2 english bulldog girls stayed at Coral Palms from mid-June through late September 2021. It was a working remote away from home time for us. We loved the location. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. Crystal and Joel were very friendly and responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient. We took daily walks and loved seeing the burrowing owls out every morning. Close to the Yacht Club which we walked to frequently to watch boats launch / take-out. We enjoyed the kayaks available a couple times as well as the bikes. Any time I had a question, both Crystal and Joel responded right away. Very nice owners and take care of their home away from home. It truly feels like this when we stayed here - not just another vacation rental. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a long weekend at Coral Palms to catch up with friends-it was the perfect spot! We had plenty of room for six adults to entertain inside and out. We loved the pool and outdoor grill to enjoy some local fare, had everything we needed for amenities and loved how updated the house was. Beautifully decorated while comfortable and relaxing! We loved seeing the burrowing owls on our walks in the neighborhood, enjoyed the view of the water, the proximity to local shops and restaurants and had lots of luck on the fishing charter. Highly recommend as the place to feel at home in SW Florida…..we will definitely be back soon!

This house had 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It had a well equipped kitchen and 2 dining rooms. We ate in one dining room and set our computers up in the other. The lanai with the heated swimming pool was wonderful! In the back is a canal where every morning we fed the turtles. It was great seeing so many turtles show up each morning. By the time we left 25-30 turtles came in the mornings. The house was close to many parks and recreational areas. We drove to Sanibel Island twice. We went to the beach in Cape Coral and to 2 Art Fests locally, to outdoor food markets and even went to Naples to eat and shop. Most things were within an hour drive. There was plenty to do and see.

My family of 5 returned from staying at this beautiful Cape Coral home. The house was super clean and inviting. The location was perfect! Right on the canal with only a few minute boat ride to the ocean and only a short drive to the beaches, great restaurants and shopping.One of the highlights of staying at this place is the large lanai were we would sit out in the evenings cooking in the outdoor kitchen while the kids splashed in the large pool. There were kayaks, bikes, beach gear, pool toys, fishing poles and more for us to use. We tried fishing right off the dock and it was lots of fun. There was always something for us to do here. The house was fully stocked with all the glassware, cookware, towels and amenities you could want. The beds were super comfy, high speed internet worked great, and washer and dryer were an added bonus.We can’t wait to go back, and would absolutely recommend Coral Palms to anyone visiting the area.

We loved the house and the location. The whole area of cape coral is well maintained and clean. The best part was the enclosed pool area and being able to go just a few steps from the house and throw out a line to fish. The bikes allowed for the kids to go ride around town and have some fun also. If you don't mind a little drive head over to Matlacha or Siesta keys both are nice lil areas to visit. Loved our stay here! The pool right in the backyard was a highlight, along with access to the ocean from the canal in the backyard, which lead us to beautiful Sanibel Island with turquoise waters! Currently we do not personally provide a boat rental service, but there are several close to Coral Palms and their information is located in the Coral Palms handbook in the house along with lots of other great information provided. Some of them will let you keep the boat right there at Coral Palms in the canal during the rental period! The boat lift is not included in the rental at this time.
