Welcome to Sugar Isle! This house is in a gated community with private beach access and is the largest floor plan in the community. It has four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an attached garage, a large private pool (can be heated for additional $275/wk), an attached "cocktail or kiddie pool" (it's 3 feet deep with a seating ledge - not a hot tub), and a huge backyard. This house is located about 500 yards from the beach, or approximately an 8-9 minute easy walk.
The back yard is fully fenced in and the patio features a gas grill, 2 dining tables with umbrellas and 12 chairs as well as 6 poolside lounge chairs for sunbathing. There are towel racks on the exterior wall with 24 hooks for all your wet towels and bathing suits.
The primary bedroom and 2 additional bedrooms have king sized beds with ceiling fans (total of 3 king beds), and the 4th bedroom has a quadruple twin L-shaped bunk bed. Each bedroom has a 32" Smart TV with cable and DVD player and the primary has a 45" TV with cable and DVD player. There is also a queen-sized sofa bed in the front room. The house will sleep 12 people comfortably with a maximum of 10 adults.
The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, a roomy pantry and a huge bar area that easily accommodates 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all dishes, pots/pans, accessories and small appliances you will need to prepare meals at home. It even has an air fryer! The front room has a dining table that will seat 6-8 for formal sit down dinners or game nights.
The living room has couch seating for 7 and a 65" 4k Smart TV with DVD player. The front room has a 50" TV with DVD player in case the kids want their own area to watch TV!
The house is equipped with all the comforts of home including a full size washer & dryer, a pack & play, a portable folding mini-crib suitable for babies and toddlers up to 35lbs, a high chair with a 40lb weight limit, a toddler air mattress, keyless entry on the front door with a unique code for each guest, a garage keypad and a full size refrigerator/freezer in the garage. We also have a wagon for transporting your items to the beach as well as a rolling cooler, beach chairs, umbrellas, various sand shovels/buckets and boogie boards/pool noodles.
The house is within walking distance to several restaurants/bars and a Dollar General. There is tons to do and see in the area including the Silver Sands Outlet Mall, Destin Commons open air shopping center, Baytowne Wharf for dining & specialty stores, mini-golf, bumper cars, laser tag, trampoline park, Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park, boat tours/deep sea fishing, Crab Island Water Park, Harborwalk Village and so much more!
*Cleaning Information - We have comprehensive cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing measures that are taken between each booking which means our housekeeping crew needs plenty of time between check-in and check-out. Our check-in time is 5:00pm CST which allows a full 7 hours between guests. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, as we know you are anxious to begin your vacation. However, please bear with us as we do want to make sure our house is as clean and safe for you and your family as possible.
**Weather Information - Unless there is a mandatory evacuation order issued for our area, we do not allow last minute cancellations or rescheduling due to inclement weather (this includes, but is not limited to, rain, high wind, tropical storms and hurricanes). If you are concerned about the possibility of inclement weather, please obtain travel insurance with appropriate weather-related coverages.
***For safety and security, this home has exterior facing security cameras - they point towards the driveway and side of the house. There are no cameras facing the pool area or back yard.

The house was more than perfect, more beds than we needed for our family of 3 but we loved the large kitchen and backyard. The garage is stocked with everything you need for a beach day! The owners are so sweet and after telling them the beach wagon was loosing a wheel, they had another one delivered to the house just in time! We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and even walk down to Pompano Joes and Kenny D's for food & drinks. We definitely took advantage of having a Dollar General right around the corner to get supplies for the house. This house is perfect for small families or large, the layout makes the house so spacious. The backyard has a nice yard area to play lawn games as well along with plenty of seating. Highly recommend! Hope to go back soon!!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Sugar Isle. It was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything my family needed for our week stay. We cooked a lot throughout our vacation, so it was nice that the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and appliances. It even had appropriate table wear for our young daughter. We had a little hiccup with the cable box, and Michelle was quick to ensure the problem was resolved quickly. Aside from the beauty of the home, you simply cannot beat the private pool and the short walk to the beach! We were thankful for the wagon and sand toys, and our daughter enjoyed all of the pool toys and floats that the house provided. It is obvious that this is a family home that is cared for, as they seem to have thought of every little detail. If you choose Sugar Isle, you will be so happy that you did!

We had wonderful stay at this house. It was the perfect place to get away during these uncertain times. The owners were very responsive with any questions we had. Having our own spacious pool in the backyard was awesome. The house was equipped with EVERYTHING we needed for our stay. The kids loved the bunkroom with their own TV and the beds were very comfortable. The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, and very clean. The beach and a few outdoor restaurants are within close walking distance. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to come back!

Shannona ‘MUST STAY’ in Miramar!!
It’s hard to figure out where to even begin in describing our stay. From the moment you walk in the door, Sugar Isle commands a feeling of awe inspiring relaxation. The open, clean, beachy feel hits you as soon as soon as you walk in with beautifully decorated spacious rooms, comfortable family and living rooms and a huge master suite! I loved how the new kitchen opened up into the large family room making it great to interact while cooking dinner.I am a business traveler and avid vacationer so I have stayed in more rentals than I can count over the years and this was by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. I tried hard to find something that could have been better or cleaner but I could not. This is no exaggeration as I am very compulsive about cleaning and sanitizing places before I even start unpacking.This home literally has everything you need to make your stay as carefree as possible. From a fully furnished kitchen (even with real stemware if you fancy a glass of wine) to a new washer and dryer, to beach chairs and umbrellas to a beautiful new crib if you have a little one. There’s even a clothes basket in each bedroom closet. There is literally no detail left unturned- they have thought of everything!The pool! Step right out of the back door onto the enormous pool area complete with tons of sitting space for great eating or gameplaying, comfortable lounge chairs, plenty of umbrellas for shade and something you don’t find very often… A backyard which was great for when we played games or or juggled the soccer ball. I love how private the backyard is with the tall white privacy fence- it makes you feel like you’re in a world of your own.The beach! Within a five minute walk, you’re on your own sugary white sand beach with private access. I found this to be an absolute must and a Huge selling point for me. Our private section of the beach was not overcrowded, which made it great to spread out and relax without worry.I truly can’t say enough about our fantastic stay- we will definitely be back!

I am so glad we found this place. It was breathtakingly decorated with a serene beach theme. The rooms were spacious and I melted into my bed. The beach was a short trip by foot. We were thankful to have our own pool oasis. It was the perfect place to just relax with each other. I can’t wait to go back!

This vacation rental home was perfect for two families to share and have a wonderful time! The house was spacious, beautifully decorated and no one fought over the bedrooms, since they all had very comfortable, king beds. And the kids loved the extra- large bunks bed! Everyone enjoyed the backyard with pool, hot tub and plenty of outdoor seating and the short walk to beach or restaurants was so convenient! I highly recommend this rental home!

The little pool is not a hot tub or jacuzzi. It is a "cocktail" or "kiddie" pool, is about 3ft deep and has a seating ledge.
It is a gas grill and propane is provided.
The beach is about 500 yards away, or a 9-10 minute walk.
We have 6-7 beach chairs in varying heights available for your use.
We would recommend pool heat for stays during the fall and spring. The outside low temperature must be above 45 degrees to use the pool heater, so there may be times when we cannot heat the pool in the winter.
Our pool is chlorine.
There is no parking at our beach access gate. You can drop people off at the gate and take the vehicle back to the house or you can drive down a half mile to the public beach access which does have parking (but is super crowded in the summer).
