Unit 602 is a large 3 bdrm and 3 bath condo with all new bedding. Our penthouse views are the best in the building and our large, private patio is the ideal place to watch the country's most beautiful sunsets -- trust me that when you see one, you'll agree. This unit is the perfect vacation home -- amazing Jameson beds, 600 thread count linens, a well equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare a family meal while watching the emerald waters of the Gulf, TVs in every room with an eye popping 60 inch Smart TV in the spacious living room, and so much more. It's a ''must see'' condo!
Our gulf front living room has ample seating for your family/friends with 2 couches and a comfortable chair. You can read or talk while enjoying the ocean views or watch the game on our new HD TV or you may choose a video from our collection for a family movie night.
The master bedroom has a king bed and perfect views of the water and the sunsets. There is a large private bath with a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower. Our mattresses and sheets are heavenly!
The second bedroom features 2 new queen beds with Jameson mattresses and luxurious sheets, a TV, and a private bath with tub and shower.
Our third bedroom has a private bath and a great king bed with the same high end mattress and sheets as our other bedrooms. We believe that a great vacation starts with a great night's sleep!
We have a full sized washer and dryer in our condo and we provide laundry detergent if you'd like to throw in a load of clothes. My motto is always pack light. :)
Our kitchen has great counter space and is well stocked for cooking. We have stainless steel pots and pans, baking dishes, mixing bowls, cookie sheets and muffin pans and pizza pans, a crock pot and more. Our coffee maker is high end complete with a timer so it's ready when you are and a stainless carafe for keeping a pot of coffee warm for mornings on the patio. I've done my best to anticipate your all your needs and most of your wants! My goal is to have you return to our place again and again.
Summer Place has 2 large, beachfront pools as well as a hot tub. We also have the only beachfront grilling and picnic area on the island. Our wide beaches are the most beautiful you'll find with sugar white sand and views forever. We pay for beach service (4 chairs and 2 umbrellas) to be reserved for you for each day of your stay so no need to get up and out to the beach early to snag chairs. Just give the beach attendant your unit number at the beginning of your stay and your chairs will always be waiting for you!
I'm confident that you'll love your stay in unit 602. We've decorated and furnished it as our home and we take great pride and care in it. If you're looking for an immaculately clean, well appointed, top shelf property, you'll love ours. We ask only that you leave it as your found it and that you ENJOY your stay!

Really enjoyed the Condo. The view from the deck was fantastic. Front door was a problem because it wouldn’t lock. Was glad we brought our own skillets the skillets they have weren’t quite as nice.

"I'm glad you enjoyed the views! They really are spectacular. The front door absolutely does lock! You had the safety flipped on which keeps you from getting locked out. We keep that turned to the right at all times so the door locks behind you. I wish you had told me about the skillets and I would have bought what you wanted. After seeing this I replaced the ones we had with new ceramic coated ones that I love! I'm glad you're coming back this in 2026 so you can enjoy the new ones!"

This is our second time to stay at Summer Place and work with Kim Johnson. The process could not be easier and Kim is so helpful and prompt to respond. The condo is beautiful and is always spotless when we arrive. There is plenty of parking available and the beachside pools and hot tub are gorgeous. The beach umbrellas and chairs provided are a real plus! There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance and other attractions are just a short distance away. Trust me when I say that this place has it all! It has become our family favorite and we will definitely be back!

We absolutely love Summerplace and visiting several times a year. Our family always stays with Kim Johnson Condos. She is extremely prompt in responding to any questions we have during booking and makes herself available anytime we need something during our stay. There are so many items in her units that other units do not provide. Things you might forget to bring or large baby items that are so much trouble to pack. Staying with her has always been a breeze with the pack and play, high chair, stroller etc. already being in the room for us! You will love staying at the Summerplace! It is a small facility that is NEVER overcrowded like most places on the island. The pools are MASSIVE and the maintenance man does a superb job of keeping the pools clean/clear. The grounds are safe and the parking lot is VERY CLOSE. No parking garage and if you are traveling with folks that cannot walk very far, this is an excellent choice. I cannot say enough good things about Summerplace and Kim Johnson Condos!

This was our second time renting from Kim Johnson at the Summer Place condos. We’ve stayed in 309 and 602 and both units were perfect for our extended family. Units were clean, well furnished and had beautiful beach views. Our kids enjoyed the pool and there are plenty of walkable dining options if you don’t want to have to worry with driving. The booking and check in process couldn’t be easier.
