About the Property
Katmandu is a new build; completed in March 2019. This outstanding new home is ready for your beach vacation. Situated at the north end of the Cape; it’s a short walk to St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, and just 200 steps to the sand and water’s edge. Swim, kayak, paddle board and play in the Gulf and Bay.
The ground floor has parking for up to 4 cars, a large outdoor shower and a patio with a gas grill and seating. There is a private master suite with it's own entrance, dedicated shower and a wet bar with refrigerator and Keurig. The home resides in a quiet neighborhood with a private beach access. The landscape is natural and relaxed with a short walk to the water's edge.
The second level includes the main living area with kitchen, dining, family and laundry room and three bedrooms. There is a king master suite which includes a large walk-in tiled shower and quartz vanity. The two guest rooms share a beautifully appointed bath with tiled tub/shower and quartz vanity. One guest room offers a king bed and the other features two twins.
The back deck provides a venue for relaxing and taking in the gulf view. The dining table seats 8. The kitchen is loaded with prep and serving amenities, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, range and plenty of quartz counter space. The home includes an HDTV in the living room and all bedrooms. Cable programming and wifi are included.

It was great - everything was as expected, very spacious and only 2 min walk to the beach. We’d definitely return - and plan to soon!
This beach house is immaculate and comfortable! Perfect suite on ground level for the in-laws; or the guests whom may prefer separate quarters from the rest of the crew. As well, three bedrooms upstairs as well as a great open floor plan to accommodate at least 6-8 people. There is no elevator but the stairs were not a problem with this house unlike others where we have stayed. The beach is less than a block away and no difficulty with access or toting beach gear to and from or that quick escape from the beach to the house. There is beach view on the back porch for those who like early coffee and quiet time! The house does not have front row beach view but if you’re looking for something that you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on and still have that good beach feel vacation, this house will do it! HIGHLY recommend using Susan to help you with your rental. She was the BEST I have ever used in the 10 years I’ve been visiting Cape San Blas.
