We had a wonderful time with 11 adults and 9 children! The house was very accommodating and had everything we would need. The arcade room was a huge hit with the kids and adults. Some other notable features: quick walk to the beach (must cross 30-A, but several cars stopped quickly to let us pass), the pool and hot tub were a nice break from the beach and the covered patio with fans was a great spot to watch the kids in the pool, and the pool is in the shade in the afternoon which was great! Two sets of washer and dryers were amazing and the two refrigerators and beverage cooler came in handy! We had a wonderful time and would love to visit again.

Hey Phil and Rhonda, We had an amazing time. We have been coming to the area yearly as a family for the last 10+ years. This home, by far, was our favorite. We don’t have a single complaint. We loved all the rooms, the backyard oasis, game room and short walk to the beach. The ice machine saved us so many trips to the store to buy bags of ice. Providing a beach wagon and beach toys was the cherry on top. We highly recommend your home to others.

The Beach Retreat was prefect for our family! We had our adult children and our foster children ranging in ages from 4-13. There was something for everyone to enjoy! Everyone loved the game room. My younger children spent hours playing the games and my adult children would join in from time to time. The heated pool is a must for the winter months. And the hot tub was great too! We were able to spend a lot of time outside even though it was quite chilly outside. On the couple warmer days the porch swings(beds) were very relaxing. This house is very roomy which gave us the opportunity to spread out. There were tv's in all the rooms except the room with the bunkbeds. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed. This house is in a great location and it was the easiest walk to the beach that we have ever had. The beach is beautiful with soft white sand. There are many shopping and restaurant choices within 15 minutes of the house. The owners were very receptive when we needed to contact them. Last, while you are relaxing in the hot tub or at he beach it's worth taking the time to read their book.

Once again we were pleased with this house. This year it was 8 adults and 3 children. Thanks Rhonda for the quit response to a plumbing problem and video game repairs. We all said "goodbye house, see ya next year" when we left. The bikes were a problem once again - seat wouldn't stay still and no hand brakes. Newer bikes would be welcome.

They are beach cruiser bikes, so there are no hand brakes on this type of bike, only pedal brakes like the other bikes on 30-A.I know 3 bikes were put at the house, instead of the 2 that is indicated on arrival letter, so hopefully the extra bike was a blessing for your trip. :)We look forward to seeing you all again! Our second summer to rent this beach house. Plenty of room for all 9 grandchildren and 8 adults. Love being able to walk out back door from living space and kitchen directly to pool and Patio. Only thing I recommend is need some additional cooking items for large families, example large electric grill (for pancakes etc) and large large cooking pots. Love the property and hope to return again next year

This was our first time at Beach Retreat and won't be our last. 9 adults of different ages, 2 children, and an infant stayed during spring break. We chose to stay at the house most of the time because of the crowds and traffic but that was just fine with us. We had so much fun at the beach, in the pool and in the jacuzzi. Also, the video game room was a huge hit. Even the oldest of us spent time in the game room racing the kids and trying to beat each other's scores. What a novel idea. A rental without the arcade room is now a deal breaker! The 4 chairs reserved and included was very welcome too. One request - the bikes would've been enjoyed more if the seat had been tightened and the chain fixed. Maybe just some new bikes? Instacart was delayed a day because of all the crowds, but it was there before most of our party arrived. We did manage to get out to Gulf World, Pier Park, the Grayton Beach area, and the young ones enjoyed a 2-hour pirate cruise in Panama City.Thanks Rhonda for honoring a delay (by a whole year) due to the pandemic. We were so ready for this week and wished it would never end.
