“Family Matters” is the perfect coastal retreat for a large group of friends and family that are looking for luxury and comfort. This home is located a short 5-to-7-minute stroll directly up the street to the shore! This is one of the few homes in the area that also includes an outdoor playset for the kids and features a private 36x16ft pool! “Family Matters” has everything you need for the perfect vacation at the beach. This home is a 9-bedroom, 5.5 bath, luxury home with nearly 5,000 sq. ft. of total living space. The home sleeps 20 in beds and up to 22 with sofa sleeper. For convenience, this home also offers an elevator with access to all three floors!
On the first floor you will find a high-end gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances; comfortable dining arrangements for all your guests including a large formal dining room table; a breakfast nook table; and a large granite bar stool counter adjacent to the kitchen. On this floor, there is one King bedroom with private bathroom. There is also an additional half bath near the common entertaining area.
On the second floor, you will find a secluded sitting room perfect for a second gathering area or for a quiet moment reading or napping on the queen sleeper sofa. Also on this level are 4 King bedrooms, a jack and jill bathroom and full shared hall bathroom and a laundry room. Completing this Floor is a fun bunk room with two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds which sleep 4 guests.
The third floor Grand Master King Suite is well-worthy of a home of this caliber. There is a beautiful, vaulted ceiling, elegant crown molding, and a top-end electronics suite. This room opens to a large private balcony. The bathroom is akin to a spa with a large garden tub; separate shower area; spacious dressing area; and a laundry nook with a second washer and dryer set. The third floor also has 2 additional King bedrooms and a bathroom with direct access from both rooms.

VayKGear (Beach Equipment): You will receive up to $245 credit (based on length of stay) toward complimentary beach gear when you book this Beach Reunion home! Browse and select available gear to include paddleboards, kayaks, bikes, umbrellas and beach lounge chairs. All gear will be delivered upon arrival and picked up upon departure. Maximize your vacation time by setting up your rental equipment needs before you even leave the house!
Private Elevator- This home features a private elevator. This is an optional $350 fee to use during guests stays. Guests who opt out of the fee will not have the elevator for use during their stay.*Private Elevator for Baggage or Guests Unable to Climb Stairs ONLY.*
Pool Heat: From October 1st - May 1st, the private pool can be heated for an additional $100/day or $700/week. Pool heat must be purchased for the entire stay.

Bathrooms: Message Body Bar, Body Lotion, Body Wash, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hand/Body Bar, and Linen Spray. Kitchen: Dish Sponge, Dishwasher Tablets, Kitchen Wipes, Liquid Dish Soap, and Laundry Tablets. * Once this supply is used, you are responsible for providing your own items.*
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
**This property has a STRICT 5-car parking policy. If you have vehicles that cannot fit properly in the driveway of the home, please contact the office. Guests not in compliance are subject to a fine up to $300 per city ordinance.**
*This home rents only Saturday to Saturday during Spring Break and Summer months.*
No College/Student groups allowed. all renters must be 25 and older with the exception of children in families.*
BEACH ACCESS: The beach access for this property is just at the end of the street, a short 5 minute walk!
BEACH CHAIR SERVICE: Complimentary beach service is offered for guests of this property at the Crystal Port East access just up the street! That is to set ups daily from 9 to 5, this includes four chairs and two umbrellas!
*Weddings/Events– All weddings/events must be pre-approved by Beach Reunion. A $750.00 event fee is required for any wedding or event. In addition, a $1000 refundable deposit is required for ALL weddings.*
*Wedding Permit- This home does require a permit from the county that is separate from the $750.00 event fee from Beach Reunion*
*Pets Are Permitted: $250 non-refundable pet fee. Under 25 Lbs, with a 2 pet Maximum *Please note that pets are not permitted on any of the beaches within the area. Medical services dogs only*

With being close to fun locations such as the track in Destin, a large go cart racing track, Big Kahunas water park, there is so many family friendly activities located just a short drive from the home.
Area Information
There's a celebration going on just about all the time in Destin, making it a fun place to be year-round. Several festivals, including October's Destin Seafood Festival and the month-long Destin Fishing Rodeo, celebrate the Gulf's edible gifts from the sea. There's also the annual Emerald Coast Poker Run, which takes place at the end of Boat Week. Participating boats pay an entrance fee, then travel to designated spots to pick up cards. The boat with the best poker hand at the end of the run is the winner. Proceeds from the poker run go to local children's charities. And every month sees plenty of live concerts, theater and dance performances, wine tastings, food festivals, and arts and crafts shows. Big Kahuna's- Toward the end of your vacation, if you`re tired of the salt and sand from the beach, head on down to Big Kahuna`s Water Park off highway 98 in Destin. Speed slides, river rides, and a wave pool await you. No matter how old or young you are, there`s fun for everyone!
Destin Snorkel offers a wide range of tours on our Coast Guard approved passenger boats; Reef Runner, Kokomo, Sand Dollar, Snuba Runner and the Sea Horse. The entire team at Destin Snorkel prides themselves in customer service. We'll take you out on the beautiful waters surrounding Destin and the Emerald Coast for a safe and enjoyable tour. FREE soda and bottled water are provided on all tours.

Notes:
Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 90 days notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made outside of 90 days prior to the arrival date will receive a full refund of the 1/3rd required at the time of booking, minus the cancellation fee of $399. If canceled within 90-60 days to arrival date will result in a 100% forfeiture of the required 1/3rd made at the time of booking. Cancelations made 60 days or less to the date of arrival will result in a 100% forfeiture of all monies paid towards the reservation to include all taxes and fees. Beach Reunion reserves the right to charge the card on file if cancellations are made when the final payment has not yet been made. If canceled and payment was not received, Beach Reunion legally retains the right to seek remaining payment.
Check in time is 3pm central with check out time being 9am. 1 week prior to your arrival date, codes for the home and private beach gated access will be sent via email to you. This will also include the house rules and any other important information needed during your stay. While staying with us, we strongly encourage all guests to give us a call or contact us by email for any issues you have. We pride ourselves on our customer service and want to ensure a great stay.
If any issues are found upon check in, please notify the office immediately so we can rectify the situation promptly allowing your stay to be as uninterrupted as possible, Our office is open daily from 9am to 5pm central time. If an after hours emergency was to arise ( whole house power outage, codes not working, fire, major leaks) we do have an after hours number.

Beach Reunion has been managing vacation rentals on the Emerald Coast for sixteen years. We specialize in large luxury beach homes sleeping anywhere from 8 to 38 people. We are a boutique business with vacation rentals primarily along Scenic Gulf Drive in Destin & Miramar Beach, Florida. Our program proudly features a coastal collection of large group homes, smaller cottage style homes and a group of gulf front condos.
Our homes are located in Frangista Beach, Destiny East, Destiny West, Destiny by the Sea, Emerald Waters, Shipwatch, Crystal Beach and other prestigious neighborhoods. Many are Gulf Front homes directly on Scenic Gulf Dr.
Our collection of large homes feature beautiful swimming pools, summer kitchens, media rooms, custom bunk rooms and king suites with private bathrooms. Our guests come year after year for family reunions, golfing trips, weddings, and corporate groups. Our amenities include golf cart rentals, beach chair services as well as our concierge services for golf, dining and wedding planning.
In 2018, we entertained over 11,000 guests in our 60+ properties and over 100 weddings. Many of our guests have been staying with us year after year for five to ten years and rent different homes in our program as we build, upgrade and add new properties.
Our goal is to provide superior service due to our limited geographical area and upscale properties. We strive not to be the biggest but the BEST! Our family had an amazing week at this property in June. The house was clean, and well equipped. We had enough room for the entire family to feel comfortable! The pool and outdoor chairs were fantastic. The playground in the yard was wonderful for the little ones. Proximity to Crystal Beach and the beach chair set-up was such a nice bonus. We hope to come again to this beautiful area. Highly suggest this property - Family Reunion is all that and more! Thank-you!!!
