Boaters are very welcome to bring their own boat, whether is it a small rental or a big yacht. At Horton Park, which is 2 minutes from our home a public boat ramp is very conveniently located. At our oversized dock, there is plenty of space to tie up any size boat.
Overlooking wide canals, especially during sunsets you won't find more impressive views, a better convenient-to-reach location, or more luxurious and fully equipped accommodations in Cape Coral. You might be grateful to know that in this location there are no “no see-ums“ and barely any mosquitoes compared to the SW part of Cape Coral. This is our own house named Caribbean Island Dolphin View, one out of 3 Caribbean Island houses we planned from scratch. We built it in 2014.
You will love this vacation home as it offers everything you might even think of. It is the largest out of the 3 houses of the Caribbean Island Class.
You will be delighted like all guests have been about the breath-taking blue-colored unique pool- and the huge sundeck on a length of 82 ft 4“ . Just the pool and whirlpool are featuring lots of fun on a a total length of about 54 ft – this is really a pool you can use for swimming, relaxing and splashing.-------------
Our Caribbean Island Dolphin View is located in the well-known Gold Coast Estates, where you find a very nice neighborhood due to the fact that almost every house is on a saltwater canal.
The Southwest exposure of the pool and spa and as well the lanai enables you to have great views above the wide saltwater canal and even intersecting canals and granting great sunsets. The pool area is screend in.
This house is ideal for boaters. You reach the river in only 2 minutes.
Should you bring your own sailboat or rent one, no problem. The huge dock and direct access allows even bigger sailboats to dock at the premises. The nice Horton park is directly on the river and offers several boat slips and less than 1 minute from the house by car and by boat it is about 5 minutes.
If you like to watch wildlife this house is the one to rent! You have the chance to watch dolphins all year round, in the spring huge tarpons who obviusly like this place, stingrays are seen often in May - August and last but not least you can watch Florida Manatees during the winter months almost daily but also year round they show up in at our dock. Our guests love to see our swimming guests.
The name Caribbean Island Dolphin View was already found when we were at this lot the very first time, as a school of dolphins were playing “in our backyard”.
Our house design, which we planned ourselves from scratch supported by a very experienced architect, came out very well. The house was based on very elaborate scheme. It is not too ornate or pretentious, but an exclusive upscale custom vacation home overwhelming ourselves and also our customers due to the sophisticated pool / whirlpool design. We offer your superlative family vacation home!
We offer on the oversized premises of more than 12,939 sq. ft. an outstanding vacation home of approx. 3,069 sq. ft. under air featuring 4 suites all located ground floor. Suite Antigua and Suite Barbados are both similar in size, also regarding the adjacent master bathrooms. The Coca-Cola Suite offers a pool bath and Suite Route 66 is also en-suite von its own bathroom. 3 of the 4 suites are located with direct access to the pool area and each bedroom is equipped with king-size beds. Suite Route 66 offers 2 extra long XL twin beds, which we can convert for you to a king-size bed as well. Big flat-screen-TVs –60” Sony HDTV in the king-size suites and a 46” Samsung in Suite Route 66, are all connected via cable and have internet access. The Caribbean Island Dolphin View is superlative family destination and offers a 5-zone A/C, i.e. each and every suite and also the living area can be individually be controlled.
The house was built with ICF blocks (ICF=INSULATING CONCRETE FORM), which gives greater comfort due to stable temperature throughout the home.
ICF walls reduce air infiltration by 75%: The effects of hay fever, asthma, and other airborne allergies can be greatly alleviated. The house is quieter.
ICF walls allow less than one-third as much sound to pass through than regular frame walls. A house built with ICF block is considered to be earthquake, tornado and hurricane resistant. A study of Texas Tech University proves that wall built with Insulating Concrete Forms withstand the damage and projectiles launched by tornado or hurricane strength winds
Pool, Sundeck and Lanai
A daydream in blue – The Caribbean Island Dolphin View offers a unique pool- and sundeck on a length of 82 ft 4“ and the infinity edge pool including a disappearing edge whirlpool of a total length of about 54 ft. A sun shelf of the size of approx. 18 ft / 5.50m width and 6 ft / 1.80 m length and a shallow water of 6” / 15 cm offers plenty of space to splash, play and relax. There are hurricane-proof shutters, which offer you the opportunity to protect the lanai on windy or cooler days and also from the sun. You are able to look to the outside but not from the outside to the inside and grant you privacy. The pool area spreads out on 2 levels. On the upper level there is the pool and spa and sundeck and as well an outside shower next to the entrance to the pool bath. On the lower level there is a walkway along the silent waterfall. At one end of the walkway there is a fire pit and a nice group of chairs and a love seat with a cocktail table, where you may relax and enjoy the nice warm air. From this level you get over a pavered walkway down to the captain’s walk and to the boat dock.

Lanai can be divided from the pool area by using electrical roll-down hurricane shutters, which give you privacy as you can look to the outside but not from the outside to the inside. The shutters protect the area in case of hurricanes, but also against sun, and wind and if there are cooler days you still are able to sit outside. There is no need to put all outside furniture into the house, just on the lanai - protected from the shutters in case of any storms or hurricanes.
The Baby-Barrier Fence also divides the lanai from the pool area, to avoid that little children are able to access the pool
Outside loudspeakers: 2 in the ceiling of the lanai, 1 close to the spa, 1 on the right side of the sun deck, 1 on the lower level deck close to the chairs, 1 at the Tiki Hut, can be individually controlled – you are able to hear different audio sources inside and outside

There is a pavered walkway from the lower pool area to the 103.5 ft. long captain’s walk and to the big boat dock of a length of approx. 65 ft / 20m, where you may moor a boat of up to 80 ft. The huge front part of the dock is ideal to catch the sun and there is also a nice tiki hut to relax. Enjoy the sunsets with an ice cold Coca-Cola or another good beverage and watch the dolphins or fishes play. In front of the boat lift is a little observation deck to watch the fishes at night when the fish light is active and attracts the fishes.

The plants on our premises are e.g coconut palm trees, royal palms, canaria palm tree and several different tropical plants like allamanda, firecrackers, hibiscus and night blooming jasmin that should support the Caribbean – Floridian flair of this nice place.
Living Area
Great room, kitchen, dining room and game / poker room belong to the open style living area. The tasteful rooms are matching perfectly regarding furniture and colors. We paid attention to the fact that we wanted to have the best view possible from this area to the pool and canal. Due to that we got the panorama window in the dining room and an extra large sliding door that can disappear totally in the wall to have the chance of a huge living area of living area and lanai.
In the entertainment center - which we also designed - you find a 70” Sony flat-screen TV cable-TV, with 3D and internet access, a home cinema, router, telephone, CD und blue-ray player. Enjoy the home cinema sitting on the exclusive Italian leather couch mad by Natuzzi. Take a refreshment sitting at the nice granite breakfast bar and get inspired from the extended equipment of the kitchen to cook a nicely created dinner. You will not miss anything to have the perfect dining table for bon vivants in a very nice atmosphere. After dinner you may wish to play in the game room. Poker, bumper billard or skat, you have the choice. Besides games there is a nice portfolio of books in English and in German language.

The house is built with ICF System, which is considered to be the best system against air pollution in the house.
Mosquitoes are very rare in our area - even on hot days with high humidity – different compared to the Southwest of Cape Coral. Due to this you will see a lot of pool areas without any pool screens in this area. We have made the experience over many years that there are no "No-see-ums" (these are tiny bugs that even get in through a pool screen) in this part of Cape Coral.

The deepest part of the pool is about 6.3 ft., at one side of the pool, when you enter it over the steps next to the spa it is less deep, just about 3 ft and you can use about half the size of the pool for water volley, as everyone is able to stand on that part
Horton Park is located directly at the Caloosahatchee River. It belongs to the Intercoastal and divides Ft. Myers and Cape Coral. This little park offers benches to relax and watch dolphins passing by. Playground Equipment (ages 3-12 yrs), BBQ facilities, Picnic Shelters. Walking Path Two public boat slips and restrooms are available.
Our favorite place to eat is the lanai at our Caribbean Island Dolphin View.
We provide an

This property was all it's advertised to be! We were here in July and the pool was an absolute life saver. The kitchen was large and had everything we needed. The Tiki area on the dock was very relaxing in the evening with cocktails and in the morning with coffee. We saw dolphins on numerous occasions as well as other fish. The ability to monitor the temperature in each bedroom was a huge plus. I recommend the rental of a pontoon or other deck boat for a few days. The dock makes for easy entering and exiting the property. Our family of 8 loved every minute of the week we stayed here and would easily rent it again! My rating on this property is only a 4 star simply because of the time it took to get my deposit refunded. There were some extenuating circumstances that might have held up the process, but 8-9 weeks becomes a bit annoying. But don't let that change your mind about renting this place. You'll love it !! BTW, I highly recommend Rusty's Raw Bar & Grill (prices are well below every other bar), Nautical Tiki Cruises, and Ford's Garage.

We had an excellent vacation at Caribbean Island Dolphin View in Florida. The house is above all other homes we’ve stayed at. The most beautiful place with a great view. This place has the best layout and floor design, I love that it has three king beds. It was exceptionally clean.

3 couples always rent a house somewhere in Florida for 2 weeks in winter. Dolphin view is the best house we've rented in 20 years. The kitchen was fully equipped with every possible gadget and appliance. Everything in this house was first class. Segrid, the manager, was always easy to reach the couple of times we had a question or a minor problem. The pool area and spa was perfect and we caught quite a few fish right off the dock. There were no bugs (unlike the southwest side of Cape Coral. We will go back

All we can say is WOW. During Corona Virus we decided we needed a vacation. Living in Miami it was a great treat to get away. The house was perfect. An amazing interior SPOTLESS during this pandemic. The beds where so comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with any thing you could imagine needing. Also the pool and outdoor facility was beyond our expectations. We saw Tarpon every day in the Wagner. We barbecued every night. Sigrid the Manager was great she was very responsive to any question we might have had. We cannot wait to go back. Our stay in the Caribbean Island Dolphin View House was amazing. The pool and the dock are the main attractions and our kids never left the pool. The location was great as you were not too far from Ft Myers Beach (20-25 min), Sanibel (40 min) and tons of other beaches and things to do. Working with Heidi (owner) and Sigrid (house manager) made everything work for us. We had a few items that needed to be corrected and they took care of them no questions asked! When we make it back to the area I would definitely look at this house again and if it wasn't available I would work with Heidi as she has a few other properties in her portfolio. The view was amazing... The house backs up to the channel system and the pool has an infinity overlook so you get the feeling of being on the water without the hassle of being directly on the beach. I would recommend this property to families with kids (we had a 6, 4 and 2) or larger groups that are looking for a get-a-way. Can't say good enough things about our time in Cape Coral!

We - 8 adults 2 kids - have been to this area for the past 7 years, and this was by far our favorite place! Beautiful location, sunsets and water views. This place was very clean and well equipped with every possible comfort of home we needed for a lovely time together cooking and relaxing. We started every morning with a cup of coffee at tiki hut watching the manatees and ended almost every day watching the glorious sun set over the canal. The lanai and pool area were gorgeous pool - they have thought of everything. It was very enjoyable and we spent several hours every day in the spa and the big pool we loved and often sat at the fire place at night. Everyone loved conversing, eating, enjoying music and soaking in the beautiful, long view of the wide canal. With 4 bedrooms and bathrooms, everyone got their space, but what was really nice is the large family and living room with the great kitchen that let you feel so very comfortable. The location of the property is great also. The neighbourhood is safe and very quiet. Owners and property manager are very friendly and supportive. We will definitely be coming back next year in the Spring to hopefully see the Manatees again!
