This beautiful, newly 2024 remodeled Penthouse, one bedroom Gulf Front condo has a fully equipped "L shaped" eat in kitchen, with dishwasher, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave and glass top electric stove/ oven. The living room has a queen size sofa bed, a large flat screen TV with a magnificent view of the Gulf of Mexico. There is a large bedroom with a king size bed and a full bath, with a fully tiled walk in shower. Our private balcony is the perfect place to get away from everything. It has a wonderful Gulf view and you can even see the island of Sanbiel. It is a perfect spot for sunbathing or even to enjoy some drinks while soaking up the atmosphere of the Gulf of Mexico. From the balcony one can also enjoy magnificent sunsets dissolving into the Gulf of Mexico each evening.
Bird Lovers will enjoy all the different species of birds located in the nearby bird sanctuary. The many different sand bars right outside our door become visible during low tide displaying a wide variety of shells just waiting to be picked up and admired. Walking the white sandy beaches and enjoying the free sunshine is one of the many wonders of our paradise.
Guests will enjoy the on site clay tennis courts and large heated swimming pool. Other nearby amenities include a public golf course and full service marina. For those seeking to explore the area, a trolley runs from Lovers Key State Park ( located to the South end of the island) to Fort Myers Beach Public Pier (located on the North end of the Island). Shopping is abundant on the island with several malls only a few miles away. Many unique restaurants with great tasting food are found on the island. It is a short drive to Sanibel and Captiva Islands.
Our Penthouse #2, in B building, Condo at Estero Beach and Tennis Club is our hideaway on the beach. The condo is situated in an island atmosphere, looking directly out at the Gulf of Mexico. It's location offers the option of a quiet relaxing retreat, fun packed water sports adventure and nightlife filled escape. It is the perfect getaway!
There are three buildings on our private ten acre property. Our condo is in the center building and exits directly to the heated swimming pool and beach. On the property we have four tennis courts, BBQ grills and lots of parking. The trolley stop is at the end of our driveway will take you up and down the entire island.
Across from the condo is Santini Mall for all your shopping needs. Fishtail Marina for boats, rentals etc. and many unique restaurants.
To the south of us is Lovers Key State Park which remains in a natural Florida environment featuring natural beaches, tropical foliage and many colorful birds of the area. It is a wonderful place to spend the day and end with another beautiful sunset.
On the north end of the island you will find many wonderful restaurants, boutiques, Fort Myers Beach Pier and miles of beach. The island nightlife is abundant in this area with several street performers in the square.

Mom's - Great place for Breakfast. They are noted for their cinnamon rolls and breakfast biscuits.
Junknoos/Fresh Catch- by Publix Parking lot. Elegant atmosphere with a great view of the back water.
Pirate Ship - goes out each day - they put on a great show which interacts with the audience.
Doc Fords - owned by Randy Wayne White, an authors of a series of books about Florida and his main character is Doc Ford. You will often find him there for a book signing.
Dixie fish house - a place where the shrimp boats use to sell their shrimp, fish etc. Now a open restaurant with a terrific view.
Bonita Bills - one of the oldest restaurant where all the traveling boats park and go into eat. Old Florida atmosphere.
Trico - where you can buy fish and shrimp off the boats
Bocce ball and BBQ grills, with picnic tables and coin operated washers and dryers are also on site.

I would give this rental a 10 out of 10. The condo was perfect for me. The location just steps from the beach provided daily walks, and the heated pool was lovely. We loved our 2 weeks in Mike & Sue’s penthouse condo! The view was breathtaking and the condo is so well equipped with everything you will need. Not all owners leave extra products for renters, but they did. We have done our share of remodeling in our own home and it was obvious that they chose quality fixtures and appliances. The bed was so comfortable; the sheets and pillows were top notch. When we told other renters at the pool that we had a penthouse condo they thought we must have paid more for it but that was not the case at all. We hope to visit again!!!

Our first trip to Fort Myers was in 2015. We were lucky enough to find this condo and Mike and Sue. We could not believe our luck when we got to the condo. You cannot ask for a better close and personal view of the beautiful ocean. The condo itself is beautiful as well. We were fortunate to stay a week in 2015. When considering our trip for this year, we decided to get in touch with Mike and Sue again to come out in September, 2019. We decided to make the most out of this trip everyday. Every morning we were up as the sun was coming up and walked on the beach with our coffee. We were lucky enough to see dolphins on our private beach a few times. We would make breakfast in the kitchen which has everything you need to cook any meal. After that we would head to the beach before it was too hot. Mike and Sue also provide chairs and an umbrella for your beach time. Amazing! Any beach activity that you can think of is right on Fort Myers beach. We rented jet ski's (did a dolphin tour this way), went on a sunset dolphin cruise, rented a moped to explore the island, deep sea fishing with Captain Tony's. We used the swimming pool onsite several times - very relaxing! We tried a lot of the restaurants - Pinchers, football the SandBar (right across the street from the condo), Smokin Oyster Brewery, Doghouse, Sunset Beach Tropical Grill &Tiki Bar. We also took a ride to nearby Sanibel and Captiva Islands - BEAUTIFUL. One night we did venture into downtown Fort Myers and ate at Joe's Crab Shack and walked downtown for awhile. Next time, we want to spend a little more time downtown as the restaurants look to be amazing. Most nights were spent on the balcony watching amazing sunsets. We were lucky enough to witness a Harvest Moon in the middle of the night. The moon reflecting off the ocean was a sight to behold forever in our memories. We have done many trips to Florida - Orlando, Tampa, Clearwater etc, but we decided that the best place to enjoy our vacations from Colorado is Fort Myers and more specifically this condo. We honestly do not want to go anywhere else in Florida. This is a more laid back relaxing atmosphere than other places we have visited in Florida. We can't say enough good things about Mike and Sue - owners of this beautiful condo. Setting up a stay was so simple and easy. Whenever we needed help with information during our stay, Mike and Sue were just an email/phone call away. Thank you so much Mike and Sue. See you 9/20.

The Penthouse at Estero Beach and Tennis Club was magnificent. It provided us with all the comfort we needed for our week stay. It was very clean with all the amenities required. The view from the patio was amazing with the most magnificent sunsets.It was a pleasure to meet the owners, Mike and Sue.
