Updated condo on the causeway to Honeymoon Island

Great stay . Great hosts.

My wife and I are snow birds . We booked a 3 month stay in Gayl and Brian's unit #212. The dolphin point condo complex is Right on the honeymoon Island causeway. The unit has a spectacular view of Honeymoon Island and the Gulf of Mexico from the living room , bedroom and from the balcony . Great sunsets!! We have rented condo units in Fl. For the last 10 years . The one was the most well equipped we have stayed in particularly the kitchen. The unit was re modeled a few years ago. furnishings are in great condition and comfortable and there is plenty of storage in the walk in closet. We attended a few events in the club house and We felt right at home with the other residents. There are restaurants you can walk to and everything you could want is within a few miles including the white sand beaches and the popular downtown Dunedin. We highly recommend this unit and the hosts.

Great location

We have spent 4 months at Dolphin Point, divided between unit 212 and 205. Both units were clean, comfortable and nicely updated. The building is friendly and well maintained. We appreciated that it was within walking distance of a Publix grocery store, the causeway and several restaurants. We enjoy cycling and being only 2 blocks away from the Pinellas Trail was ideal. Dealing with Gayl, the owner, was easy and stress free. Looking forward to our return.

Great location, on the water, walking distance to restaurants, shops & more.

The location is on the water and near beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, shops, bike trails and the fun town of Dunedin. It seems like Dunedin always has a reason to celebrate something. Lots of fun. The condo was well maintained and recently updated. The owners were excellent to work with, even though there were no problems that required their help. The owners recommended some good restaurants, things to do and locations for Pickleball Courts (high priority). We would definitely go back again.

Location is excellent

The location is wonderful right on Joseph Harbour. Great fishing kayaking etc. Absolutely beautiful views. Very close to restaurants especially the famous "Frenchys" and right across the street a wonderful Frenchys fish market with a variety of great food and desserts. Sandbar Grill with live music 3 to 4 times weekly. The Causeway Plaza with Cricketeers Restaurant, Maddison Pizza, Benedicts which is great for breakfast and lunch, Dollar General, Bingo and other stores as well as Walgreens, Cuordova Italian Restaurant and of course Publix. Bike Rentals are super to get around and enjoy the Pinellas Trail. The Jolley Trolley and beautiful parks, Tarpon Springs Downtown and Sponge Docks, Clearwater Beach and up the coast with their Suncoast Trolley. 2.50 reach good deal each way or 5.00 for the day hop on and off. Pass also good for the bus transportation system. John Howard Park, John Chestnut Park, Wall Spring Park. Cant be beat. Gayl and Brian were fantastic and so available to help us with all our needs. The people who own and rent at Dolphin Pointe were very nice and helpful. They get together on Wednesday nights at different places for dinner and all are welcome. We did not have a car so thanks Don and Bev for all the rides. You dont need a car here. stay our of traffic unless your want to explore farther away. Perfect to Town of Dunedin, Market every Saturday, Blue Jays Spring Training games at Fenway. Condo met all our needs. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Oh great pool and pool area and nice clubhouse and condo jazz, thanks Bruce Willie and Susan. We stayed for 2 months.

A true piece of Heaven

We stayed in 212 last year and this year and looking forward to next year. We lived in this area twice for almost 20 years and we love this area on the causeway. Quiet complex, very friendly neighbors and convenient to dining and shopping. Gayl is a fantastic host and always available if needed. Wife loves walking on the causeway and watching the Dolphins off the deck. The Dunedin Beach is a 5 minute drive out the causeway and always has parking, unlike other municipal beaches in the area. We highly recommend either one of her condo’s.

Outstanding!

Outstanding is the one word that best describes this condo. More specifically this condo is clean, beautfully furnished, well supply with everything you need, has beautiful waterviews and is in an excellent location. Owners are friendly and check in to be helpful. I give it an EXCELLENT rating.

Perfect Location!

I absolutely loved this spot! Sitting on the Balcony watching dolphins, boaters and beautiful sunsets! Walking along The Causeway every morning and 3 mile drive to Spectacular Honeymoon Island. Walkable to Publix, Stores and Restaurants and a short 10 minute drive to lovely downtown Dunedin. Unit was Comfortable, Clean and well stocked with all your needs. I would definitely Rent this Unit Again. Grounds were also very nice with Pool over looking the gulf, a dock and Barbecue Area!

Much needed rest and relaxation

We really enjoyed our month in beautiful Dunedin. It was a wonderful time to rest and relax and your condo allowed us to do just that. It was clean, well equipped and meeting Gayl was a bonus. Thank you for your kindness and attention to detail.

This felt like a two month vacation at a resort with a fantastic view of the water.

I stayed in 212 for March and April of 2021 and 2022. I would be staying there next year, but need a two bedroom condo. I so enjoyed Dolphin Pointe. Location is amazing. You can walk to everything, grocery, drug, and liquor stores, restaurants, the Pinellas Trail.... The view from the balcony is outstanding. I spent many afternoons watching the dolphins and evenings watching the sunset. Amazing. The condo was spotless with everything you could possibly need. Gayl was always available for any issues. Last year she asked if there was anything the condo lacked. I said a blender and the next day the blender/bullet was on my kitchen counter. The pool is delightful and never crowded. The residents at Dolphin Pointe are friendly and welcoming.

Perfect location to downtown, restaurants, and walking trails.

We stayed in unit 205 at Dolphin Point in Dunedin along the Causeway to Honeymoon Island. The condo is clean and comfortable. The king size bed is very comfortable! We walked every day on the trails. The restaurants were great (Frenchy's, Hurricane Eddy's and Benedicts) were visited frequently. The owner (Gayl) met us the first day to see if we needed anything. We would love to visit again.

Gem in Dunedin

Gayl,s condo is a gem! Perfect place to stay! Close to all amenities. Restaurants, groceries, pharmacy bicycle rentals, and beautiful Honeymoon Island. The condo is the perfect size for a couple with everything you need, clean and comfortable, quiet and well maintained property! We would love to return!

Awesome

I rented this condo for two months. On my first full day, I met some wonderful people, who are now my great friends. The condo is up-to-date and very clean. You will see a lot of marina life here at Dolphin Pointe. It is within walking distance of great restaurants and grocery stores. If this condo would have been available longer than my two month stay, I would have never left.

Great Place!

We stayed for the month of January and loved every minute there! The entire condo was beautifully remodeled and the bed was so comfortable you almost didn't want to get out, but the view, wow! The view is outstanding! Pelicans, ospreys, dolphins are daily visitors. You can walk to great restaurants and bars. You can walk the causeway to Honeymoon Island. The owners who live here are very friendly and welcoming. This is the condo you want to be in!

A Piece of Paradise

We stayed in the condo for the month of May and it was pure medicine for our souls. Waking up to dolphins swimming in the channel was the icing on the cake. It is clean, well stocked with all necessities, room is spacious, and communication with the owners was always easy and pleasant. They met us with water upon arrival since it was so late and we couldn’t get to a supermarket. They were quick to respond to any and all needs/questions. We toured the entire town, down to Clearwater, easily by foot, trolly and car. I can’t express enough how beautiful this specific location is! We have hundreds of breathtaking videos and photos from the balcony to prove it! We met some incredibly kind residents and enjoyed chats in the pool as well as BBQ’s by the water with them. A wonderful community. Will be repeated!! Thank you Gayle & Bob!

Dun “wonderful” stay

More than I expected for a condo stay…. Location was great, condo was very clean, decorated nicely and great sized rooms. Never felt crowded for a 1 bedroom…. I would definitely Italy recommend . Owners were wonderful to work with… hospitable and pleasant.

Lovely Stay

The apartment is very nice and very comfortable plus super clean! I loved having the balcony and the dock on the water to use. Plus, being able to walk along the water/causeway or ride bikes on the trail was an amazing addition.Super close to downtown Dunedin which is the cutest little town

Wonderful place

I stayed here for two months and absolutely loved the condo, the building and the area. The condo was so clean and had everything I needed. The complex was well cared for with very friendly people. The dock out back is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. I was able to walk to restaurants but my favorite thing to do was walk the causeway over to Honeymoon Island. I would definitely recommend Gayl and Brian’s condo for anyone looking for a clean, cozy and convenient place to stay in the Dunedin area.

Wonderful experience, great location, amazing view, I'm hooked.

I stayed at Gayle's condo for two months, March and April and have already booked for next year. Gayle was a great host with wonderful recommendations. The condo is delightful, perfectly furnished and well equipped in the kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The view from the balcony is amazing and I spent hours watching the dolphins, aquatic birds and fantastic sunsets. The location couldn't be better. I was able to walk everywhere, to restaurants, drugstore and grocery store. The condo is only blocks from the Pinellas trail or the Causeway.

it was very accessible to everything we needed

Our stay at Dauphin Pointe Condos was very enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed as well as all linens. Nicely furnished, very clean. Close to downtown Dunedin and restaurants. Walking distance to the water. Gayl {the owner} brought me flowers when I got very sick. We would rent this condo again.

Unit #212

The unit was beautiful as well as the view overlooking the water We loved the location since it was so close to everything and our family members. The unit was very well equipped with everything you needed in the kitchen. There were enough towels for bath if you did laundry every couple of days. Beach equipment was a nice touch with both bag chairs which we used as well as beach chairs. The Shark vacuum made clean up quick and easy as the sand always followed us home. You told David that you had already purchased a blanket for the rollout bed which was the only thing I felt was missing. Gayle, you were very accommodating and easy to work with and we appreciate that. We enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to coming back next year.

Convenient Location

I booked this condo @ , February & March 2020. This was the 1st time I've stayed in Florida that long. I don't drive & was happy the Publix grocery store was within a 10 minute walk. The Jolly Trolley is a convenient form of public transportation that got me everywhere else I needed to go. The rate for a senior all day ticket is $1.50 & it travels from Clearwater to Dunedin to Tarpon Springs. I found the people staying at the complex to be friendly & helpful. Gayle (the owner) was quick to respond to my questions & needs. I especially enjoyed the screened porch off the living room. Dunedin is a delightful town (about 6-7 miles) with great restaurants & shopping. Getting to the Catholic Church was somewhat of a challenge but if you have a car, you won't have any trouble; about 3 miles.

Perfect location for a relaxing getaway

This updated, clean and well stocked condo is perfect for an extended beach vacation. The bed and furnishings are very comfortable and the condo has everything you will need to enjoy your stay. I loved the quick access (5-minute drive) to beautiful Honeymoon Island Beach and ferry to Caladesi Island. Sunsets on the dock on the Condo property with view of the intracoastal are amazing. I also really enjoyed being close to the Pinellas Trail and bike rental around the corner. Owners Gayl and Brian are friendly and accommodating. You can't go wrong with this rental!

It had everything!

This rental unit really had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, fresh and comfortable. The condo building and grounds are very attractive and well maintained. The location was ideal in that we could easily walk to many amenities, while others are a short drive away. The tranquil seating areas on the water side of the building provided a perfect place to relax; watching the dolphins helped with that! The condo community (owners and renters) were very welcoming. We had a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful condo—highly recommend!

The Winkowski’s have a beautiful condo in Dunedin! I stayed for 3 months while I was interning at Clearwater Marine Aquarium over the summer. I felt like I was right at home while living in their condo, and the other residents living at Dolphin Pointe made me feel welcomed as well. They provide everything you need to feel welcomed. All I really needed to bring was myself, some clothes and food, everything else was pretty much provided. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Location, location, location!

We loved the location, close to Honeymoon Island, City of Dunedin Nd the Pinellas bike and walking path.Several restaurants and pubs within walking distance along with a Publix, Walgreens a European Deli.The unit has been recently remodeled with new furnishings and very clean. Very comfortable for two people.We loved watching the dolphins and sunsets from the community dock on the St. Joseph Sound.We would rent again if it worked out.
