Hang out by our private heated pool out back, walk to the Gulf just 5-minutes down the street, sleep in real beds, and a kitchen & front porch that pull everyone together at the end of the day.

Where you'll be
Mid-Island Fort Myers Beach — close enough to walk to Times Square for dinner and live music, far enough that the pool deck is quiet at sunset. Publix, Lover's Key State Park, Bowditch Point, and Snook Bight Marina are short drives. RSW airport is under an hour.

Guests will have full access to the entire home, the private backyard with heated pool, and parking for up to 2 vehicles (1 covered space and 1 additional spot in the driveway).

Legno Italian Kitchen (Santini Plaza): Sicilian family recipes three generations deep, with homemade pastas, pizza and wood-roasted wings; locals rave about the mussels. Dixie Fish Company: an open-air, tin-roofed 1937 fish house on Matanzas Pass, with smoked fish dip, Gulf pink shrimp, grouper, a raw bar and live music most nights. Lah De Dah Beach Bar & Grill at Margaritaville: toes-in-the-sand dining with grouper tacos, margaritas and sunset views.
Head to the beach early: low-tide mornings are the best time for shelling, and you'll often spot dolphins just offshore before the crowds arrive.

JamesHome was what was described. Laureen the host was more than excellent. Laureen was responsive and very passionate on her responsibilities. We absolutely had a great time while we were here. The pool was clean and refreshing after a day at the beach. The water was warm for those late evening swims. The Bluetooth speakers were a added bonus while enjoying music on the pool deck. I would recommend Laureen as their host for anyone interested in visiting SW Florida.

Nicole M.Very cute home and IS ACTUALLY within a REALISTIC walking distance from the beach in a nice neighborhood. It is a small block, cross over the road, and you're there! There are several pay by mobile parking spots at the walk over ramp to the beach too. I loved that this beach was so natural with shells and seaweed. This house was just as described. I do have to say that the only way to the main living areas is by using stairs (harder for me) but wasn't a deal breaker. Pretty much the norm for this area. It was very clean and had ample towels for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers). Beds were comfortable. Air conditioner worked very nicely. The room downstairs by the pool has a wall unit but it surprisingly kept that room cool the entire time. Pool area was very clean and spacious. Would like to see more seating in the living room next time. Short drives (10-30 min) to find other things to do. Would definitely stay there again. And thank you Lauren for the birthday banner!
