We had a great stay here, we loved that it was a short walk to the beach. It was a peaceful walk, dog friendly, with a very cute coffee shop nearby. The pool was very nice too, my son was in it daily. The home is beautiful, very well stocked with everything we needed. The layout and decor was perfect with a beach vibe. Second floor is the main living area which is great so the beach/ pool mess doesn’t make it upstairs. Also thank you to the host for being so quick to reply when needed and ask about the stay. We plan to be back again :)

What a wonderful home we had such a good time and the grandkids really enjoyed the pool and kept them entertained. Everything we did was either walking distance or 30 minutes away. One morning we had a baby duck swimming around in the pool was fun to see the duck was having a good time. If we visit this area again i would Have no issues using the airb&b again.

Such a great stay at a beautiful home. Lauren was an excellent hair and very responsive. Just a quick stroll to the beach and a short walk to some great restaurants. I highly recommend starting your early mornings at the coffee stand across the street and enjoy the gulf view. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay from the kitchen amenities to the beach chairs and umbrellas provided.

This property was phenomenal - a retreat steps away from the beach! It has everything covered to spend the day on the sand: beach towels, chairs, umbrella, toys, etc. Inside was so comfy and just a happy place to be! The rooms were spacious , great linens, bathroom amenities covered too. The kitchen was stocked with items for quick cooking, plenty of supplies for bbq out back by the heated pool as well. We really enjoyed our getaway and can’t wait to get back! Lauren was a pleasure to work with and easy to get in contact with for any questions. A perfect escape for our family, and we couldn’t be happier.

Lauren is an excellent host, and we loved the home! Everything was super-clean, and the house is not only a very quick walk to the beach, but is well laid-out and very comfortable for all, with a full kitchen upstairs, and a 2nd kitchenette on the first floor! Publix is a short drive (or Uber trip) away, and we were able to buy all of our breakfast and lunch items there. We prefer going out for dinner, and we walked to 4 different restaurants while we were there. Can't wait to go back next year! :)

This was the perfect space for our spring break with three adults and a 4 and 7 year old. Everybody had a comfortable place to sleep and the closeness to the beach was perfect while still being set back far enough to not hear any commotion from the main road! The beach access is literally straight down the street and it was only a two minute walk because the kids were slow! The beach itself was never crowded straight out from the access there was always a spot. And the amenities provided were perfect - plenty of great beach chairs, two easy to set up shade umbrellas, cooler, wagon, and sand toys. The kitchen had every utensil you could need as well as a lot of spices. The pool was the perfect size for our young kids. Lauren was incredibly responsive and proactive sending all of the information we would possibly need! Thank you for a great vacation!

Wonderful spring break at the Salty Air Retreat! Lauren was extremely helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect close to all of the Fort Myers Beach hotspots but far enough away so the beach area was never crowded. Accommodations were excellent. Beds super comfortable, great linens and towels, high quality fully stocked kitchen perfect for an evening of cooking in and all of the beach supplies you’d ever need! My family loved mornings and evenings on the awesome screened in porch. We hope to be back someday! 🌴

My siblings and I stayed here the end of February 26. We found the place exactly what the listing provided and then some. We all had a great time! Ft. Myers Beach has done a wonderful job of rebuilding the area since the hurricane. We are all seniors and walked everywhere. Lauren was an exceptional host. We would stay here again!

Absolutely loved our stay here. The provided beach amenities (buggy, chairs, toys, cooler) made our beach days so much easier and packing for the trip lighter. I believe the descriptions says a two minute walk to the beach but it really feels shorter. The house worked out perfect for our family of five. The location is amazing and we really enjoyed our time here. 10/10 highly recommend!

What a conveniently located, well stocked, comfortable home! We had an absolute ball. The location was ideal. We were in walking distance of both the beach and local restaurants and shops. This property is an absolute gem. It is very clean and well cared for, with a lot of small touches that really made our stay great. The pool is very nice and the proximity to the beach is fantastic. This is a great place for a family. Walkable to the happening part of FMB, stocked kitchen, plenty of games to keep the kids occupied when you aren’t at the beach or in the pool. But the best thing about this place is the host, Lauren. She is super friendly, very responsive and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is going smoothly and you are happy with the place. 😊

We absolutely loved the house and felt right at home. Super accessible to walk to the beach, right next to a place where you can rent scooters, golf carts, etc., and the nearby shops for ice cream, breakfast (happy to see Mom’s is still around), and for chill day drinking. The pool was an awesome way to cool off, the upstairs kitchen and living area was great. Honestly no complaints whatsoever. And the host Lauren was amazing. We had one minor thing that needed to be addressed, and it was resolved before we could bat an eyelash. We will def come back and stay here next year if we can.

What a location! Ft Myers is still recovering from hurricane Ian, but there were plenty of places to eat and plenty of activities nearby for all interests. Lauren is a great host and the place is perfect for families or groups. Sleeping accommodations are all comfortable, kitchen has all the things, and the beach supplies (including chairs, umbrella, beach toys, cooler and wagon) are A+. We will be returning!

Overall very good! Ease of access to beach excellent, beach accessories was very good. Rooms were quiet and comfortable, air conditioning worked flawlessly. Kitchen was well equipped. The swimming pool was well maintained and refreshing. Only suggestion: the gas grill worked well, however the area below the grates need a cleaning. If ever in the Fort Meyers Beach area again would most definitely consider this property!

The property was a perfect set up for our family, with plenty of space for 7 adults and the little ones. Very clean and close to the beach. They thought of everything from a kitchen that had everything you could possibly need, to a complete beach setup with chairs and toys! The house is so close to the beach, and you can see it while sitting on the screeded in porch, enjoying coffee or cocktails! And close enough to walk to restaurants and beach shops!Lauren was a great host! She communicated so well and very accommodating!

I'd like to start by saying what a wonderful host Lauren is. she was attentive and available for whatever we needed. From the moment I booked the Salty Air Retreat I received a phone call where Lauren introduced herself and said I could save her number in case I needed anything during our stay. I've never had a host do that before, it was a very nice touch. On to the Salt Air Retreat house itself. The house was exactly as described and pictured. It was spacious, clean and had so many little touches that made it feel like home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped which meant we could save money on making our own food. The grill downstairs was clean and a bonus was the refrigerator downstairs which we used to keep the food we were going to grill and some drinks. The beach is a short walk across the street and the beach cart, chairs and umbrella provided made spending the day on the beach relaxing. I cannot wait for the next opportunity to rent this house again.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The place was clean and so nice! Walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in the Times Square area. The beach access was so close too. We had an amazing time! They even had a bunch of family friendly board games that we played at night. It was a great time!

I traveled with my husband, son and his family (a 1 and 6 year old). The space was great for 2 families with the 2 living areas. It was very close to the beach and we spent a lot of time on the screened porch with a view of the ocean. The house was very well stocked with everything you need. Would definitely stay here again if we come back.

This was a perfect house for our group; we had a girls' weekend, and the home was absolutely amazing. It had everything you could need in the home. We took an Uber to Publix to stock the fridge. Everything else was within walking distance, the ocean is pretty much across the street, and the bars and restaurants were all within a very short walk, so we did not need to have a rental car. We had 6 girls, so having the 3 bathrooms to get ready was nice. If you want a worry-free vacation, this home offers it all.

Salty Air Retreat was everything we hoped for and more. Conveniently located by the beach, this location was stocked with all the amenities you could want. The many restaurants within a short drive were fantastic. I highly recommend this property for a family vacation with or without kids.

Great location and plenty of amenities! We had plenty of space in the house. Kitchen has the perfect coffee spot on the screened in porch. Easy walking to the beach. Also perfect distance to walk into Times Square and all the food trucks along the way. The pool was perfect for cooling off after the beachbebeach!

We were a party of 6–a couple of moms and 4 college girls. The house was the perfect setup for us. Us moms had our mom bedrooms and baths upstairs and girls overtook the downstairs.First off, the communication with Lauren was terrific. Upon arrival the house was super clean and stocked with everything we needed—including shampoo, conditioner and body washes in all the bathrooms!We loved the location to the beach and all the restaurants. We cancelled our car rental because walking was so easy. Lots of towels and the beach cart and all accessories were really nice. And the pool was a hit as well when we wanted easy quiet downtime.We would definitely come stay again! And anxious to see all the additions happening after the hurricane damage—but that sure didn’t deter one ounce from our experience!

A group of us flew in from Wisconsin and Maryland to celebrate a few milestones. Lauren’s place was just what we needed. The house is nice, and located close to beach, and restaurants. Only 30 minutes to the airport. The beds were very comfy, and the heated pool was excellent. Definitely recommend others to stay here.
