Little Piece of Paradise

Fort Walton Beach/ Okaloosa Island is just beautiful! I love my condo at the Nautilus. It is a 2/bedroom 2/bath condo.... “Side Unit” with great beach views. I have owned my condo since 2002 and I have return guest year after year. Once you visit this area… You will want to come back for sure! The beaches are magical with their white powder sand and beautiful blue turquoise Gulf water. I guess that’s why they call it the Emerald Coast area.

I know how important it is to have a fully stocked kitchen, so many of my guests are very appreciative of all of items I provide. I even have an under the counter ice maker machine so you have extra ice for your cooler. Of course the refrigerator freezer also makes ice.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the guest bedroom has a queen bed and bunks for the little ones. There is also a queen sleeper sofa. Plus, I have a Washer and Dryer inside the condo! :-)

Beach service for 2 is provided during your stay (March - October), and I also have additional folding beach chairs in the little closet near the entrance area. There are some fun little sand toys for the kids in that closet. I would love to have you come and stay at my Little Piece of Paradise.

Why Kids Love It

There are many reasons to love this area, and the beaches are breathtaking! When my children were young… I couldn’t pull them away from the beach. They really enjoyed riding the boogie boards, and making sandcastles. Families my also like to go to the Gulfarium or book excursions like… Dolphin or sunset cruises.

Area Information

Okaloosa Island is located just outside of the Destin Harbor area. They only allow the buildings to be seven stories high, so you don’t have overcrowding on the beaches during busy season.

There are restaurants located within walking distance, and it is a wonderful family vacation area. The Nautilus does not allow anyone under the age of 25 to rent condos, so you don’t have any out of control spring breakers!


The Nautilus also has a pool(heated when necessary), and the beach is footsteps away from the pool area. I have purchased beach service for two, and there are additional folding chairs and beach toys located in the small closet inside the condo.

Attractions Within Walking Distance

There are several restaurants/bars with live music within walking distance. The Nautilus sits directly on the beach, so you don’t to cross any streets to get to the beach.
