El Conquistador Parkway sits in one of Bradenton's most convenient corridors — directly across from IMG Academy and surrounded by golf courses, making it ideal for sports families and golf travelers alike. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, yet minutes from everything: Gulf Coast beaches, the SRQ airport, and the dining and shopping of Sarasota and Bradenton. Anna Maria Island's white-sand beaches are just 7 miles away.

Getting around is easy from our convenient Free on-site parking for multiple vehicles — ideal for groups driving in. SRQ Airport is just 5 miles away for families flying in for tournaments. IMG Academy is directly across the street. Beaches, restaurants, and Sarasota attractions are all within a 10–15 minute drive. Rideshare is readily available throughout the area.

One of the best perks of staying at Coastal Calm! Walk over to the IMG Academy Golf Club for lunch, dinner, cocktails, and beautiful views. A great choice when you want a nice meal without having to venture far from home.

**Wolves Head Pizza & Wings — Pizza Night**
A nearby favorite for pizza and wings and an easy choice after a long beach or pool day. Pick it up, bring it back to the house, and enjoy a relaxed pizza-and-pool night.

Want to experience Bradenton like a local instead of just checking off tourist attractions? Here are a few tips for making the most of your stay at Coastal Calm Hideaway.

Go to the beach later in the day.
Instead of fighting the morning crowds, head toward Bradenton Beach or Anna Maria Island in the late afternoon. Enjoy a few hours on the sand, stay for a Gulf sunset, then grab dinner on the island. It's one of our favorite ways to experience the coast.

Don't treat Detwiler's like a regular grocery store.
Stop at Detwiler's early in your stay. Pick up fresh produce, seafood, meats, bakery treats and prepared foods. It's perfect for stocking the house—or grabbing an easy dinner to enjoy poolside without cooking from scratch.

Make one night a Wolves Head + pool night.
Not every vacation night needs reservations. Grab pizza and wings from Wolves Head, bring them back to Coastal Calm, turn on the pool lights and let everyone relax. Sometimes those simple nights become the favorite part of the trip.

You can walk to golf and dinner.
IMG Academy Golf Club is right nearby. Play a round or practice your swing, then enjoy dinner and drinks at ICON Bayside. It's one of the location perks guests can easily overlook.

Bring your racquets—or paddles!
Tennis and pickleball are available nearby at Bradenton Tennis Center, with court reservations available through Main Court/Bounce. Check current availability and fees before heading over.

Take the scenic route through Cortez.
Historic Cortez is one of the area's remaining working fishing villages. It's worth slowing down, exploring the area and stopping for fresh seafood rather than simply driving through on your way to the beach.

Don't assume Anna Maria Island is the only beach day.
Bradenton Beach and Coquina Beach can be excellent choices. Coquina is especially nice when you want a classic beach day with plenty of shoreline to explore.

Sunset is an event around here.
Check sunset time before dinner and plan around it at least once. Whether you're on the beach, having a waterfront meal, or back at Coastal Calm, Florida's Gulf Coast sunsets deserve their own spot on the itinerary.

Island traffic is real.
On busy weekends and holidays, don't wait until the middle of the day to head toward Anna Maria Island. Leave earlier, or intentionally go later in the afternoon. You'll spend more of your vacation enjoying yourself and less of it sitting in traffic.

Your dog gets a Florida vacation too.
Coastal Calm has a fully fenced backyard and a dog essentials welcome basket, so you don't have to pack quite as much for your four-legged family member. Ask us about nearby dog-friendly places to explore, too.

Save at least one evening for home.
Between the heated pool, game room, fire pit, fenced backyard and outdoor space, don't schedule every minute of your trip. Pick one night with absolutely no plans.

Our favorite itinerary: Beach in the afternoon → Gulf sunset → grab dinner → back to Coastal Calm for a late-night swim or game-room competition.
