When considering which house with a pool to rent during the middle of January, 2022, we chose this house which advertised their pool deck - on Florida Rentals Site - "which was oriented to the southwest orientation" - which "invites you to sunbathe until late in the afternoon".Instead what we found was the pool and deck were oriented to the northeast! We arose each morning and saw the sun rising over the lake and pool deck from the northeast facing kitchen window. How can something that inaccurate be included in your/their promotional material?Also advertised was a fitness center on site. Perhaps when the house was originally built? But certainly NOT at the time of our rental.Perhaps if the weather had been more favorable, we would not have cared about these matters so much and spent less time at the house. But how can basic facts - especially the orientation of the pool, be so inaccurate and continue to be (mis)represented in your ads. Please ask the rental agents to correct these mis-statements, so as not to disappoint future guests.We were granted an extra night for our anniversary without charge as it was nestled in between weeks which were already accounted for and would not otherwise have been rented. We are indeed grateful for that consideration. Overall the house is spacious, clean, in a gated community, centrally located to most attractions, beaches and parks.We left several other recommendations with the House Watch and Rental Agent we felt would improve future renters' experience. We have rented from Florida Rentals before and our overall 4 rating of this property IS better than averageJohn & Chris K Southport, NCPS: We tried on several occasions to correspond via e-mail directly with Florida Rentals and were unsuccessful each time.
