Susan H.Fishing and Shopping Get Away
We enjoyed the Florida Houseboat Rental called The General Lee. Guys fished and girls shopped. Walking to town and restaurants was easy! The only issue we had was a sulfur smell when we first utilized the hot water. It was pretty strong but the owner came and drained the tank of the hot water heater and it seemed to help greatly. We only slightly smelled the odor occasionally the rest of our stay. We know the water issues in Appalachicola have been of recent and the owners had installed a filtration system recently.. so it was probably just remnants of the old problem. We would stay again as we truly enjoyed our 4 days there. Caught Mullet, Flounder, Catfish, Bass.., And I caught a new bed quilt and shams!
