Not "Almost Heaven" it is HEAVEN!

I hesitate to write this glowing review as I don't want other people to infringe on our time at "Almost Heaven." To begin, Marge is absolutely amazing to work with! She truly cares about your experience and satisfaction. Her personal touches and genuineness is very rare in the travel business. Almost Heaven- we have been in both A and C units are simply spectacular! Beautifully updated, immaculately clean, and they offer everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation. Lastly, I think my wife counted 44 steps from our door to the beach - location, location, location! The Key offers some wonderful restaurants and shops - we personally love "Lock and Key" (great Happy Hour) and the Beach Boutique. It is our "Heaven" of a true vacation. Do not think twice about calling Marge and arranging a stay...just not when we want to be back in heaven!! :)

A beach getaway.

We stayed at Almost Heaven for a well needed getaway! Marg was absolutely wonderful to work with. I did not get to meet her, but she answered all my questions and was so patient. She also went above and beyond what you would expect from a host. The best part of the place was walking right out onto the beach and enjoying the sunrises and the sunsets. The apartment was clean and nice. We hope to come back soon!

Lucky Us !

We loved staying at Almost Heaven!! We stayed here 20+years ago and the few times we came back to Manasota Key there were no vacancies available! Until this year! We had all that we needed, we slept very well and most importantly we could see the ocean every day! This place is right on the beach. We stayed in-Unit B which was ground level. Marg was wonderful and easy to work with. Hope we can come back soon.

The best way to have a relaxing vacation is to stay here at “Almost Heaven”!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven. Right on the beach gave us the best access you could get. The back yard also allowed us to enjoy the sun without leaving the property. Used the grill most days which gave us a front row seat in time for the spectacular Florida sunsets. Very easy to get to off of US41 and anything you’d need was only 10-15 minutes away. Thanks Marg for your making everything a smooth transition at checking, we sure appreciate it. Can’t wait to come back again️️️

Very Relaxing

We loved the location, very nice to be steps from the beach, seeing the wildlife from the balcony. There was a sandy "back yard" with lawn chairs, that were replaced with new ones during our stay, that was a nice touch. We spent most of our time at the beach. We did cook most of our meals in the condo, it had everything we needed to prepare real meals, not microwave dinners (but it did have a microwave for those that prefer those ;-). We would certainly stay again, maybe next time we could stay longer.

Relaxing spring fetaway

Fabulous location

Spacious and well appointed, this three bedroom, three bath condo was a wonderful find. Right on a sandy beach in a quiet area, this place was well-maintained and furnished. So clean…some of the best housekeeping we have ever experienced in a rental. Marg was incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Perfect

So clean even I was happy and I'm weird about things being clean,comfortable beds and one couldn't be closer to the water unless you were sleeping in it.The beach is clean with very few people,sunrise and sunsets absolutely beautiful, crystal clear blue water. They don't allow dogs I suppose others have ruined that privilege in the past but it's difficult for those of us that clean up after our pet not to have them with us.Give almost heaven a try you won't be sorry.

Blissful

Location, Location, Location.....Nothing like looking out your large picture window and have the beautiful blue ocean and white sand beach starring back at you. Loved listening to the waves at night while sitting in the living area.. Bed was comfortable and found amenities satisfying.If I had to change anything it would be the 2nd floor of the condo, and 2nd bedroom, only because my knees are not the best. We did not need to use the 2nd bedroom so that was not an issue. I will definetly be using your services again in the future, hopefully Winter of 2023.Thank you.

Wonderful place

Wonderful, peaceful, beautiful place. Just a few steps from the beach. Unit B is ideal for those who can't do stairs or walk very far but still love to see or go to the private beach. Beware of sitting outside at night for those who are sensitive to bug bites. I was severely bitten but my friends were not. Has chairs, umbrella, etc - items very convenient for those who are flying. Great place!

Exactly What We Needed!

Can't beat the location. My wife and I stayed for a week. Marge is awesome. She made sure everything was all set for our stay and was available for questions. She then followed up at the end of our stay to make sure there were no issues. This proved to be the perfect escape from the snow back home. You are literally feet from the beach. My favorite part was the early morning walks down to Stump Pass during low tide. The sunsets are unbeatable. You don't need to go anywhere. Just walk out the door and you've got a front row seat. Lots of choices for great food in Englewood area. My favorite was Texas Best Barbeque.

Perfect Gulf-front beach house

Location is perfect--open your door and your toes are in the sand, look out the living room and kitchen window and watch the pelicans and surf. We stayed in Almost Heaven B (first floor, gulf facing) and it was great. There are 3 units to the house, and neighbors are all single family. Generally well maintained with everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood with great restaurants, nearby stores. Marg, our host, was excellent. We hope to visit again!

The best place ever

We came her with my mom. We love it here so much we decided this was the place we were going every year. Unfortunately we did not get to come in 2020 because of covid-19. I miss it so much. Marge is amazing, the condo is amazing. I pray to God that we make it this year. Almost Heaven we miss you

Beach House

This place was perfect for my family! It had everything we required. We stayed in the two bedroom with pullout sofa and it was great for us. The beach is a piece of heaven we were happy to be on. If you are looking for a quiet escape this is the place for you.

Best spot on the beach, the views can't be better anywhere else!

This condo was the perfect size for our party of 5. The master bed was so soft and comfy I slept like a baby every night. The other bedroom had a queen size and a twin size bed, and the kids said they were comfy as well. The fold out couch is what you would typically expect from them, thin mattress and felt like you were laying on bars. Might be good for smaller kids but that would be it. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were extra paper products left for us, so of course we left some for the next renter. The parking is directly under the unit, we never even used the elevator since it's one set of stairs and there you are. But the best part of this condo is the balcony with a wide view of the beach. The ocean is so close you can hear the waves even with the doors shut. There were plenty of beach chairs, two very nice umbrellas, and a ton of beach toys. All that you need is a cooler! The keyless entry was super nice, never had to worry about going to get keys and returning them. Very convenient! Also, this condo was extremely clean. No need to worry about bugs or anything like that. It is spotless and you can tell it has been very well taken care of. We loved it and hope we can come back next year.

Best Birthday Surprise

My sister and I booked an Almost Heaven unit as a surprise birthday gift for our mom who loves the beach. Well, mission accomplished. She was so surprised. It was perfect!!! We removed her blindfold and all she saw was the beautiful ocean. Then we told her she would be staying there. She not only loved the accommodations, she loved being able to go out on the beach, swim, take a break indoors and go right back out. It was awesome watching my 69 year old mom be a child again, playing in the sand and waves with her pool noodle, watch the sun rise and set, and having such a great time without a care in the world.Marg was so helpful with setting everything up. I called her so many times just coordinating everything and she answered every call. This was my first home rental and I needed it to be perfect. Marg made sure that happened. She was EXTREMELY patient with me and my questions. I had one minor issue while I was there but one call to Marg and she sent someone right out. I couldn't have asked for a better location or a better host. I will DEFINITELY be back again. We had such an amazing time!

Awesome !

Location, location, location ! Nothing better than sleeping to the sound of the ocean and having it available 24/7. The beach is spectacular. Sunsets magnificent. Just a short walk to yoga on the beach every morning too. I only did it once but very happy to know it was there. The pool area was nice too on a day when it was bit too cool and windy for the beach. The buildings provided enough shelter from the wind that being outside that day was still enjoyable. The condo itself was just fine. Comfortable bedding. If you like to cook in, make sure you bring EVERYthing you need if you care to cook. There is literally just salt and pepper for consumables. If we hadn't decided to purchase a home in the area while on this trip, I am quite sure we would rent unit 512 again. Marge was great and delivered exactly what was promised.

Great place to stay

We stayed at almost heaven for a week we were in unit a the upstairs. Had a great week the unit was spotless cleaning crew was very helpful when we arrived. Great location and spectacular view of the evening sunset. We will be going back to spend Christmas this year too. Marg is very helpful and makes everything very easy to book and makes sure you have everything you need. We are going to make almost heaven our vacation place from now on.

Amazing time

My wife, daughter and I spent a week on the first floor unit and we had an amazing time. The beach is at your backdoor and, while the atmosphere is quiet, all amenities and activities are nearby. Watching dolphins from our kitchen window, fishing from the surf and hunting for shark teeth on the beach made this vacation memorable and magical for our little 3 year old. The unit itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped and Marg made herself available to ensure we had anything we needed. I highly recommend "Almost Heaven" and am already planning our next visit.

So Close!

Our week-long stay was amazing! Almost Heaven is right on the beach! We counted 25 steps. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was perfect, though we spent most of our time taking advantage of the proximity to the sand and sun. The view was spectacular, the sunset visible from the sofa in the living room. I recommend this place to beach lovers who love sandy toes.

We totally enjoy the property. The view and accommodations are lovely. The location is perfect. We enjoy walking out the door and sitting on the beach to eat our breakfast. Marj is very helpful. It was immaculate when we moved in, and the cleaning crew went out of their way to get us in early.

This home is in the perfect location. Beach only steps away and restaurants all walking distance. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing you need is food and relax.
