LanaThe location is perfect! Right on the beach..not crowded. The building itself needs to be repainted and repaired..it’s very outdated compared to the others around it. The condo is decent..could use updating as well and remodel. It needs better lighting inside and AC was not keeping the place cold. The balcony is wonderful and the view is amazing of the beach! Overall we enjoyed our stay.

JeannineUnit is old and really needs maintenance and attention. Towel bars, cabinet hooks, and medicine cabinet doors missing. Outlets in one wall of kitchen don't work. Floors/corners dirty. Master bed creaks and squeaks terribly if you barely move. Rust in many areas. Hard to get in and out of front door with huge hanging lock on it. Extreme noise early morning and all day with renovation going on in unit 203. (this is unit 201). Couldn't sleep in, couldn't enjoy peace on balcony due to banging, jackhammering, ect. Couldn't have a conversation in room or even hear TV when in the room for lunch. We received 2 hours notice the water was to be turned off at 2pm one afternoon. We went back to unit early to get cleaned up and run a load of laundry, only to have water be shut off early. It was not a relaxing vacation and we were glad to leave.

JulieYou can't beat the balcony view and access to the beach! This was the primary reason for staying here so the smaller things that weren't so great weren't deal breakers. It's well understood that beachfront properties get a lot of abuse by mother nature (rusty things, sand everywhere, etc.) but some things were just neglected. Hardware in walls from missing towel bars, medicine cabinet doors missing, scuff marks on doors, hole in wall behind door, etc. No icemaker-just two unfilled ice trays. No large trash can for the kitchen (no trash can at all in one bathroom). No extra batteries for tv remote (already missing one-had to take from one in bedroom). We were told that beach chairs, floats, etc. would be locked up in bins in carport but, everything was wide open and strewn about. There is so much potential here but the lack of attention to detail was so very apparent. Some TLC would do this gem some good!

NorineThis nice three bedroom two bath condo was right on the beach, just walk right out and stroll the length of the beach. It was very close to Fort Pickens, where we went to watch the Blue Angels practice. Nice covered parking space and check-in was quick and easy. The Wi-Fi quit working four times, we don’t know why. Some towel bars were missing medicine cabinet Mirrors were missing and as I walked around with my white socks, they were dirty within minutes. But it was fine with me as the location was what attracted us to this condo.

CindiWe had an amazing time at Gulf Winds! Lesley was a great communicator! The condo was perfect for my family. We loved the easy beach access and sitting on the balcony enjoying the sites and sounds of the Gulf. It was a huge bonus that Lesley had beach chairs available for our use. We used them every day! The location is perfect! We loved the private feel to the beach. We put the kitchen to use and cooked a couple of days. I literally do not have a single complaint. ChristyWe loved staying here! The best location for the best price. The balcony had a great view of the beach and water. The kitchen was well stocked. The neighbors were great, no one was loud or running around. Very family friendly, the beach wasn’t crowded like 30A always is. Plenty of beach chairs provided by the condo. Great place, we hope to come again next year!

TamieThe location is perfect! This unit has a million dollar view. Dolphins kept us entertained. We hardly left the balcony. Unit was well cleaned! Lesley made every step easy. Could not ask for a better host. Unit in need of minor repairs. Nothing that impeded our perfect vacation.

AndyFantastic beachfront location with gorgeous views from the balcony! The property provided easy beach access in a quiet area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The owner was very responsive to our messages.A few maintenance issues need attention - missing medicine cabinet door and broken towel rods. Some amenities mentioned/pictured in the listing were missing (cooking oil, laundry detergent) and board games had missing pieces. We bought cooking oil and left it for future guests.Overall, a good spot for a few days at the beach with stunning views that made up for the minor inconveniences.

EmilyVery responsive host. Condo was as expected. The door to the unit is VERY heavy and sometimes hard to open due to wind and pressure but not an issue. There is a box of spare items for the beach that was very useful as I flew into town and couldn’t bring my beach chair.
