Unwind in our spacious, immaculately maintained, and recently updated condo located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on scenic and peaceful Okaloosa Island, just 6 minutes from Destin, FL. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath beachfront condo is beautifully furnished in a cheerful, inviting decor - ideal for couples or families who want to vacation in comfort and luxury. Enjoy magnificent panoramic gulf views from the large balcony accessible from the living room and master suite. The powdery white sand beach with crystal clear blue water and the two pools and hot tub are all just steps away.

The Summer Place has a huge pool deck with 2 large pools (one heated seasonally) and a jacuzzi complete with a little waterfall. The pool area overlooks the sugar white sand of Florida's most beautiful beach. Because of the zoning controls on Okaloosa Island (no building can be over 60 feet high), we have all the beauty of the Destin beaches but none of the crowds -- to say nothing of the traffic! The Summer Place also has a beachfront BBQ/picnic area with gas AND charcoal grills as well as a fully equipped exercise facility with a view of the Gulf. We also pay for beach service with 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas set up for each day of your stay!
Our unit features 9 ft ceilings, 18' ceramic tile throughout, maple cabinets with granite countertops, cultured marble tubs and surrounds as well as marble vanity tops.

Okaloosa Island is the gem of the Gulf coast! Only 6 miles from Destin, FL but a world away with quieter, open beaches and no high rise buildings looming over the beach. It's a classic beach town with so much to discover. There's a marina with pontoon boats and fishing charters. There are great restaurants with in walking distance and so much to entertain the family from crabbing in the bay to water sports on the beach (paddle board and sea kayak rentals from our beach and wave runners available at the nearby Boardwalk) to fishing from the Okaloosa Pier -- also the site of Wednesday fireworks during the summer months to the fun. Check out the fun Florida Gulfarium where you can swim with the dolphins and watch the sea lion show! Wild Willy's Adventure zone has zip lines and an arcade and so much more and there's mini golf with an ice cream shop just across the street!

Thank you for letting us enjoy your place. The porch and view of the unlimited dolphins swimming by was the hightlight of all of our trip! The court, pool, easy access to the beach, beach chairs/toys/towels/noodles/rafts were top on the list as well. The owners were quick and easy to communicate with. This will be a for sure return spot in the future. Only wish was there were more wash cloths stocked for the 5 of us. We did buy some and left them behind. Much appreciation. The Steimel Family

We stayed at Summer Place 406 with 4 adults and 2 young children. The condo had plenty of space for everyone and a gorgeous beach view. The kids loved the 2 large pools. The direct beach access with chairs and umbrellas included was enjoyed by all. Great location close to many restaurants, shops, putt putt, the Gulfarium, and national seashore. We would definitely stay again!

We have rented this condo for several years and have had an enjoyable stay every time. The condo is clean and equipped with the needed essentials. It is located within walking distance of many restaurants and putt-putt. Summer Place in general is a smaller complex making the beachfront not as crowded as other complexes. We highly recommend!
