Situated in the exclusive Woodlands development in Kings Lake, Naples, this bright, beautiful Florida home is available for rental. This home is certainly not a typical rental and with high-end designer touches it will appeal to discerning travellers who don't like to compromise on quality and comfort. The Woodlands is the jewel in the crown of Kings Lake. It is a small enclave of individually designed single family homes. Our house is one of 15 on the inner circle of Royal Lane that enclose the private Woodlands.

Unique Benefits
Finding the right home is difficult. We must have looked at hundreds before we made our minds up and we got to know the property market really well. We chose Kings Lake because we loved the individuality of each house and the wide open spaces between the properties. We specifically chose the Woodlands because it is what it says on the tin: Huge trees and established shrubs and foliage make this a very desirable area. The private access to the actual woodlands directly from the back yard, and the gorgeous tropical pool were a real attraction too.
We have remodeled this property to a high specification. We spent hours trawling through design magazines and enlisted the support of Interior Designer Julie from Julian's Interiors of Marco Island. She gave us some great ideas on how to achieve the effect we wanted. We enjoy open plan living where the kitchen and living area come together. With this in mind we commissioned Yorkvale kitchens in England to design and build a custom, shaker style kitchen that would become the focus of the house. It took us twelve months from design to build, shipping and installation. The kitchen is now in place and with the Pompeii quartz countertops, we love what they have created.
Why Kids Love It
The heated pool just at the bottom of the yard is a huge hit for kids. We have plenty of fun inflatables for them too. Most days they would have this fantastic tropical pool all to themselves, far enough away to be secluded but close enough to still reach the house WiFi. Parents will love that the pool is fenced in ensuring their safety.
There are bikes in the garage for kids to explore the area. Lots of interesting paths and lakes too.
Boat hire is simple here with fishing trips and inland waterways. Rent a family boat at the local Cabana and take the kids to Keewaydin Island to explore the wildlife and pick shells. Head down to Marco Island, moor up and have lunch at the Snook Inn, or visit our favourite waterside restaurant at the Isle of Capri; the Capri Fish House.
Area Information
We chose this particular house because we wanted to be close to everything that is going on in downtown Naples, but we also wanted an area which was quiet, manicured and well maintained. Less than ten minutes drive to 5th Avenue, this location could not be better.
Attractions Within Walking Distance
Woodlands, Lakes, walking paths, cycling paths, restaurants, bars, Starbucks, Publix - These are all less than a mile from the house.
Free use of tennis court and pickle ball courts just around the corner - keys to the court are available to guests. A booking system operates to ensure you get the courts at the time your want them.
Favorite Places To Eat
There are hundreds of great restaurants in Naples. Many offer fabulous Happy Hour deals. Tommy Bahamas on Third Street is our favourite for special occasions but if you're just looking for a nice place to eat, try Alice Sweetwater or Tacos and Tequila which are both within walking distance. If you're heading into town, walk down 5th Ave and take your pick! There's something to suit everybody's taste and pocket. About ten or twelve minutes drive from the house you'll find three great waterside restaurants: The Boathouse (ask for Rodney - he's a great barman (very attentive and tells a great story!), the Dock at Crayton Cove and Syren. Syren is new. On the waterside in a quiet little marina. We only discovered it in November 2024 and we've only been for lunch (happy hour from 3pm until 5pm at the moment). If guests go for dinner please let us know what you think.

And finally...

Apologies if I've made any spelling mistakes - I'm sat on the beach writing this and can barely see the screen on my phone in this beautiful Florida sunshine.

Wonderful House. Perfect position
My partner and I had a fabulous holiday at this wonderful house. Kings Lake is a beautiful area in Naples. The house is so bright and clean and has every modern convenience. The bedrooms are large and the bed ever so comfy. We really enjoyed sitting out in the evening relaxing with a cocktail and listening to the birdsong. The pool is just a few steps away and we had it to ourselves most of the time. Downtown Naples, 5th Avenue and 3rd street are just a short drive away. Within walking distance is a Publics supermarket and the popular Tacos and Tequila restaurant. Amazing Margarettas. Steve and Marie made the whole process of booking very easy. There was plenty of communication and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back again for sure!
