Guest Cottage: Romantic retreat with two separate rooms, kitchenette, and full amenities. (One bedroom offers a King bed and the other is the Daybed / pull out trundle each with a twin mattress)

Sand Dollar was by far the best house rental I have ever booked! The house is obviously gorgeous and so close to the beach, but it was the details that that made it exceptional. We were greeted by our host upon arrival and she gave us the tour and even checked in with during our stay, she was amazing! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, it was the best trip. We will definitely be back!!!

We liked our stay in 2024 that we booked this house again for the summer of 2025. Beautiful home in a very convenient location to the beach. The pool is spacious and the house itself is very roomy. Kitchen is large and new, with plenty of space for the family to spread out. The owner, Katie, is so easy to work with and wants her guests to have an enjoyable visit. We would definitely rent this house again!

The Sand Dollar was a beautiful piece of property with an extra carriage house which was great for us (the parents) as a quiet getaway. The location was exceptional where it was walking distance to the beach and convienently located near shopping center A special touch was having a golf cart to get around locally especially if you didn't have a vehicle. The house itself was extremely beautiful, spacious, clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It was great that we didn't have to worry about bringing beach towels or beach chairs. This property has access to beach chairs daily which was set up for us and taken down in the evening. That was huge for us. But what was truly impressive was when we had an air conditioner issue and it was addressed and dealt with as quickly as possible. Even though it was a holiday weekend and HVAC technician were no where to be found Katie took the time to get the help needed. Thanks for everything and we will definitely stay again if we return to Destin.

Fantastic house with a great location. You can tell the house is used by the owner because just about everything was thought of and provided. A major draw was the beach chair service and the golf cart already on site. The kitchen was stacked with everything you would need and so was the pool and beach items. There were a few great enhancements, such as a Weber grill, more sets of beach chairs and all floats and toys. A first round set of essentials such as garbage bags etc. prime location, block away from beach access and Camille’s. The pool house was great for our parents to stay with us but have their own space. Thank you for hosting a great family vacation and look forward to booking again.

Sand Dollar has been our winter getaway for over 9 years. The house / property has plenty of comfortable spaces for families and guests to congregate, enjoy a meal together, or just hang out. The kitchen is well-appointed so there is no need to bring anything. We enjoy lounging on the patio by pool or taking golf cart to favorite restaurants and beach accesses. The online pictures are accurate, but to experience Sand Dollar is BEST. The house is located in the white-picket fenced Crystal Shores neighborhood. The Gulf is an easy few minutes walk away. Around the corner is Camille’s for indoor/outdoor dining with entertainment several afternoons over weekends. Scenic 98 has wide walkways for strolling or bicycling. Sand Dollar’s convenience of location to shops, restaurants, entertainment, and activities is also the BEST. Owner Katie is attentive to your needs and will make your stay all the better. Sand Dollar is truly the Best of the Best!

The host was super friendly and accommodating. Her home is beautifully decorated and has everything you’d need. We especially loved the plush carpet in the oversized master bedrooms and the open floor plan downstairs. The gorgeous pool is in the private backyard. It was clean and warm with lovely furniture and games to play. It was a gem rental. We will be back!

My Family and friends love Sand Dollar so much that we have come TWICE and loved every moment! Katie is an amazing host and ensures every detail is splendid from start to finish!Our favorite features were the VERY short walk to the beach and the RESERVED beach chairs that were setup every day of our stay. It was so EASY to just settle down anytime on the beach without looking for a spot every time! The pool was also fun and ready to use everyday for refreshing after the beach! We also loved the GOLF CART that comes with the house - the kids enjoyed the short rides to nearby shopping and dining!Additionally, the kitchen was beautiful and newly renovated; unlike many other Airbnb's I have stayed at, this kitchen was well-stocked with EVERYTHING equipment-wise we needed to cook! We were able to cook so many awesome meals here!The house itself is beautiful and had plenty of room for our large group to relax and unwind! The house is very clean and any minor concerns were addressed very quickly. All the family extras are already there such as pack & play, high chair, stroller beach/pool toys, wagons - just ask! Your family will have a great getaway at Sand Dollar!
