One of the highlights of the Villa ThunderBird Lake is the fantastic view of the lake, you have both from the pool area as well as from the living and dining room.
Very nice in this villa is the outside bar at the boat dock with Tiki hut, fridge and sink. From there you can enjoy the wonderful sunsets of Florida with a sundowner!

Cape Coral, located by the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico, is a real paradise. The climate is very pleasant not only in winter; even and especially in the summer you will feel comfortable here. On average, Florida has 330 sunny days a year. Daytime temperatures in the fall do little under 20 - 23 degrees. In midsummer, the temperatures are between 28 -35 degrees. A slight breeze from the Gulf of Mexico is always blowing. In front of Cape Coral, there are hundreds of inhabited and uninhabited islands, the subtropical dream islands of Sanibel and Captiva Iceland with its beautiful white, partially deserted beaches. You can reach these islands by car in a short time.
Another feature of this villa is a special pool water treatment plant.
For the water treatment of, with fresh (sweet) water filled, pool no liquid chlorine is used, but by a salt electrolytic plant chlorine gas is generated, which will be added to the water by a particular system, as needed.
As a result, the water is substantially compatible with the skin and causes no skin irritation in general.

Ted Y.Great home on the canal with an amazing dock and tiki hut.
We had a great time staying at this amazing home on Thunderbird lake in Cape Coral. The home was well laid out and very clean. Kitchen was well equipped with everything one needed, except (interestingly) a blender. There were two coolers, beach chairs and beach umbrella that all came in handy with our visits to various beaches (Sanibel Island was the best).The boat dock and tiki hut was amazing and where we spent most of our time outdoors. We caught a lot of fish and even grilled some snapper on the BBQ. The pool was great and came in handy on hot days. It was starting to get hot and humid so the AC was a necessity. Be careful of electric charges. Our costs for 17 days was an additional $135 (not too bad) but we were judicious with use of AC, etc. The location was great. Close to several beaches, great restaurants and several supermarkets and other stores.Check-in was easy as we were met the next day by the local property management (Nico). Check-out was not so pleasant as the person that checked us out (Agnes) was somewhat rude and had an attitude when we questioned her about when the outside area was cleaned. She also miss-read the electric meter which could have resulted in a significant overcharge if not corrected (make sure you take a photo of the meter at arrival and departure).Now the not so good. I would have given this a 5 star rating except for a few minor issues. See above regarding the check out. The photos advertising the home shows an outdoor kitchen area with a large grill but upon arrival we found that that grill was not available to us (locked). They did provide a nice, but smaller, Webber grill for our use. The photos also do not show a boat in the boat slip but there is a large pontoon boat there which partially blocks the view of the lake. Probably the biggest issue was the lack of cleanliness in the outside. We spent about two hours cleaning the pool area (not the pool) and the dock and tiki hut. According to the cleaning person (Agnes) the outside area is only cleaned when a guests leaves, not when they arrive. She said the last tenant departed 2 weeks before us so that was the last time it was cleaned. That makes no sense, since there are daily winds and an outside area gets dirty pretty quickly. Why wouldn't it be cleaned prior to arrival of a new guest?Even with the negative issue mentioned I would rent this property again.

We absolutely loved the Thunderbird Villa. From start to finish with booking, travel, vacation and receiving our deposit. This is a clean beautiful home that is a small paradise in itself. We spent a lot of time in the pool and down at the TIKI which is a relaxing place to be at night. Thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay in your home and to the management for a smooth process. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this villa. It was larger than we expected. The housekeeping was fantastic. Everything there you could need. Very tastefully decorated. The pool, tiki bar and views were incredible. Location is great - beautiful neighborhood, walking to Duffy’s sports bar and close driving access to the expressway and the Marina and yacht club.Thank you to CCVS for their efficiency in booking the villa, to the local property management team who keep this place immaculate and finally the owners who let us and others enjoy it!
