This gorgeous new 2 BR/2 BA guest cottage enjoys an ideal location in the center of the best part of Destin (Crystal Beach) a very short walk to the beach, yet it's private at the same time! If you prefer not to spend your vacation traipsing the halls of hotels or sharing condo elevators with strangers, enjoy this stunning but cozy cottage in its super convenient location! One-half block (less than 5 minutes walk) to the beach--including restrooms, lifeguard, free kids classes—and a lovely cafe, and 2-4 blocks to 2 grocery stores, over 30 restaurants, movie theaters, bowling, kids play area, and more!
The cottage features a soaring cathedral ceiling in the living/kitchen/dining area, unique finishes, and a one-of-a-kind feel--to make the time when you're not on the beach as enjoyable and relaxing as your time on the beach. The first-floor master suite has a king bed of luxurious memory foam (with a grounding pad for better sleep), double sinks, and a large shower. The second suite is upstairs and offers either 2 twin beds (also memory foam) or they can be converted into a king on request. There is also sleeper sofa in the loft. While 8 people are allowed per ordinance, we request no more than 6 adults for your comfort. Amenities include a high-def TV, wifi, large deck, outdoor shower, full laundry, gas stove, and much more.
The private jumbo hot tub can be kept cooler in summer as a mini play pool for kids or a soaking pool for adults, which is great for extra hot days or when the Gulf of Mexico has particularly rough currents. Or it can be used as a traditional hot tub all year. 8 seats and different jet configurations. We also have a cold plunge for extra energy or relief from aches and pains. [We do not have an in-ground swimming pool.]
Important: This cottage is part of a family homestead and is only available when part of our family is away. With all separate walls, doors, and windows from the host's home, it is a perfect combination of having a home to yourself, and yet having the hosts adjacent if you need anything or want to ask advice from locals. Driveway is shared.

️️️️️ I absolutely loved this cottage! It was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very close to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals at home. We had both beds set up as king size, which worked perfectly for our stay and made for a great night’s sleep. The hot tub was such a bonus after a day at the beach—I really enjoyed relaxing there in the evening. The location is convenient, quiet, and makes for an easy walk to the water. This cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely book again!

Spent a week in this beautiful house. Only a block from the beach. The host were more than accommodating. Everything was there in the kitchen for cooking. Everything you could need for a day on the beach as well. Unfortunately there was a cold spell and couldn’t use. The house is walking distance to a bunch of good restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

I rented the cottage for Labor Day weekend to spend with my son as it was reasonable close to Air Force base.The cottage was close to beach. It had all the amenities you would need., very comfortable, The one thing that stood out above all else was the Andersons Andie and Wendy treated us like family. We feel like we have made life long friends. You would not be disappointed in this cottage. We will be returning and would definitely recommend to anyone. You will not find a better rental.

Just plain happy in the heart of Destin with excellent hosts and convenience to shopping, movie theater, all the restaurants. We walked two blocks to world-class beaches and felt the goodness of the sand between our toes. We had a delightful coffee at camellias. Bang bang Dinner we had at bonefish Grill. Relaxing on the deck with a glass of chilled beverage. We will be back again soon to this clean, fresh and inviting private beach home. We made memories for a lifetime.
