Located on one of the walls at our lovely Villa Salty Shoreline, you will notice fishing poles. The owners have dedicated this spot as a memorial to a neighbor from Colorado who had a dream. Following is a note from the owner about Bob's Fishing Poles – here is his story:
“Bob and his wife Bonnie lived just a few doors down from us in Colorado. Bob's dream was to live on the water in Florida. He spoke of it often. When Bonnie passed away, we told Bob he should pursue his dream of living on the water in Florida. Instead, Bob stayed in his home in Colorado and continued his day-to-day routine. Eventually Bob's health deteriorated and he also passed away. Because they had no family, there wasn't anyone to whom we could pass along his few things. Bob did have a collection of fishing poles that were special to him; he had customized these poles using a thread weave process and he loved talking about them. We knew we had to keep them but we didn't know what we would ever do with them. It wasn't until we purchased this home in Florida that we knew exactly where those poles needed to be. In some way, we feel that Bob finally has his home on the water in Florida.”
These beautiful poles are a special reminder to the owners, and all guests whom visit, to live life to the fullest and follow your dreams!
The owners have tried their best to think of everything and anything a guest might need to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable vacation for you and your loved ones. We are excited for you to experience Florida at our gorgeous Villa Salty Shoreline! Book now, before your dates are gone!
