A Great Location & Condo For A Winter Getaway!

We have been "snowbirding" in Florida for a number of years and Cape Coral is our location of choice. The climate is great; there is lots to do and see in Cape Coral/SW Florida; golf is plentiful; there are many very good restaurants; the choice of vacation properties to rent is good (if you book early); and it is very safe and generally quite comfortable to live there. Not-surprisingly then, we spent the winter of 2025 (January to March) in Cape Coral, enjoyed the community of Sandoval for a first time as well as the 2 bedroom condo we rented.Sandoval is a super community to live or do a short-term stay in. It is gated and thus quite secure and close to shopping. There are first class amenities: 2 pools, a clubhouse, library, tennis and pickleball courts, events/classes/entertainment, BBQ's to use, great walking paths, and the landscaping in the common areas is wonderful. There are many permanent residents in Sandoval but also a good number who just enjoy winter months there - both groups were friendly and welcoming. There was lots of exterior maintenance work underway while we were there - the community and condo section are well cared for.Sandoval is the setting for this 2bedroom condo we rented. Simply said, this ground-level unit is great! The owners - who are wonderful to deal with - have done a super job of decorating, furnishing, equipping and caring for the property. It is their home away from home for parts of the year and they have set it up for the comfort, convenience and enjoyment of both themselves and those who rent it. The unit has a "Florida feel" that's evident throughout. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. The screened lanai looking out over the lagoon behind the condo was a spot we really enjoyed. There are numerous water birds to watch (a blue heron and great white herons were regular visitors), turtles sunning themselves, fish who are active, and it provided a peaceful setting to look out over. The master bedroom hosts a king bed that we found very comfortable - we slept well - and with ample places for clothing to be kept. The ensuite and walk-in closet are both large and also well-equipped. In addition to the 2 bedrooms and living areas there is a den that served well for some "office work" that needed attention.We thoroughly enjoyed the community and this condo - we would highly recommend them for your consideration. We hope to return at some point if we can and would definitely be interested in staying again!

We loved our stay in this Cape Coral Home and didn't want to leave!

This was a dream condo, it was very well equipped with everything we needed to live comfortably. The beds in this condo and the furniture are very comfortable. What we like the best was how responsive Neil, the owner was when we phoned with any request large or small. This along with the location and the surroundings made our three month stay a genuine pleasure and hard to leave. We hope to stay again and have told all our snow-bird friends about this beautiful condo and location.

Excellent Rental

Condo was everything it was represented to be. Beautifully decorated with every thing anyone could possibly need furnished. Neil (the owner) was very easy to work with and very helpful if there was a problem ( getting entry passes). Neighbors were very friendly. Shopping and great restaurants close to the condo - some within walking distance. This was our first experience renting in Cape Coral and we were not disappointed. Definitely enjoyed our 3 months there.
