There is a great selection of shopping and dining experiences nearby at the Mercato (less than one mile) and all along Tamiami Trail or a bit further at the Waterside Shops, Venetian Village, 5th Avenue and 3rd Street. Nearby you can also find ecotours of the everglades and mangroves as well as Naples Zoo, Naples Botanical Gardens. Bird watching and fishing are fun all along the beach and May-October you may also spot Loggerhead turtles nesting.
