Villa Leonardo has been carefully prepared to have your whole family relaxed and in vacation mode as soon as you walk in the door. Beautiful landscaping sets the stage for a perfectly laid out floor plan set up with everything you need for a great vacation for even the largest group. With plenty of space for everyone and a sunny southern exposure pool & lanai & boat dock, you’re sure to quickly leave your regular worries in the past. The house is fully air-conditioned and features large rooms, a well-equipped granite countertop kitchen, and whole house sound and wireless internet access. 6 HD LCD TV’s, media players, and several Internet-connected Blu-Ray / DVD players throughout the home means there is always entertainment available, if desired. You’ll find most of your time will be spent hanging around the comfortable lanai and pool area that is directly accessible from the main house and from 2 of the bedrooms. There is plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy the pool/lanai area, a large 14’ x 26’ heated pool, and a top-rated Weber BBQ gas grill to cook up your favorite steak or fish. Later in the day, you’ll find yourself marveling at the evening sky, enjoying your favorite beverage, and wondering if you’ll really be able to leave this paradise once the vacation is over.

The dock has TWO boat lifts so you can have your (owned or rented) boat easily accessible and you can invite your friends over with their boat as well. With direct gulf access in your backyard, you will be within easy reach of local beaches and watering holes on Sanibel Island, Ft. Myers Beach, Pine Island, Captiva, Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa, etc.

The kitchen has provisions to make meal preparation a snap and your meals can be served in the dining room, the kitchen bar area, the pool area sitting table (with a convenient pass through window from the kitchen to the pool area) or all three. A multi-source, multi-zone music system allows you to listen to different music in different areas of the house – or sync them all together to pipe your favorite tunes everywhere you go. The family room will be a favorite gathering spot with nap-inducing, super comfortable sofa, love seat, and chair. A large HD LCD TV in the center of the entertainment center will provide great viewing of a rented movie, the big game, Airplay-sourced pictures of your vacation, or your favorite TV show.

When the day is done, you’ll find 4 very comfortable bedrooms that will allow you to rest and recharge, as needed. The master suite, separated on one side of the house for privacy, provides spacious living area, king-sized bed, LCD HD TV, a personal music system, a desk area (if you have last minute work-related things to attend to), his and her walk-in closets, and a large walk-in tiled shower stall, and direct access to the pool area. The other 3 bedrooms are located on the other side of the house. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, cable-equipped HD TV, walk-in closet, and direct access to the pool. Bedrooms 3 & 4 have a queen bed and a twin bed, Blu-ray player equipped flat screen HD TVs, and walk-in closets.

All rentals are subject to an 11% local state and county sales tax. Holiday uplift will apply at Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

The home is set up with exterior security cameras pointed at key entry points include the front door and the pool enclosure entry doors. There are no cameras in the home. The cameras are set up to minimize any intrusion on privacy of the guest staying at the house and are meant to deter any criminal entry into the house. Contact the owner if this is a concern.

The family room is so inviting and comfortable that you can't help but relax when you are there. Finally, the space afforded by the layout and the 4 bedrooms means larger families (like ours) or group of families can come together and have a fantastic vacation experience.

Why Kids Love It

Pool is the highlight for families with kids. But there is a great mini-golf course nearby as well. Fishing off the dock and visiting the local beaches are also key highlights.

Area Information

Cape Coral offers a unique combination of characteristics that was attractive to us. With convenient access to the gulf and beaches via boat or car, easy airport access, and lots of fun places to visit and things to do, we found Cape Coral to be a very friendly place making it an great choice for a vacation destination home! See the manatees and dolphins up close in your rented kayak at Lover's Key. Great fun at the beaches of Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach. Lots of great golf courses just minutes away. Villa Leonardo (named after my dad) was a perfect combination of size, layout, location, and quality that really appealed to us as renters. We think you'll love it too.
