Choosing beautiful Marigot Place as your private vacation rental home is a fantastic option for families and small groups. Marigot Place offers quiet seclusion in a gated community, with access from both Highway 98 and Scenic Hwy 98 (the beach road). It's an 8-10 minute walk to our beautiful white sand beaches with private, gated beach accesses.
Relax in this peaceful home, tucked away from the crowds, but still central to all the many shopping, dining and vacation attractions the Destin/Miramar Beach/30A area has to offer.
Snowbirds Welcome! Monthly rates available from October through February- $3150 per month plus taxes and fees.
Note - You must be age 25+ to rent.
One or two dogs are welcome ($250 per stay), so your furry friends can enjoy vacationing with you.
High chair, baby gates, and pack n play are available upon request. 12 beach chairs and beach towels provided as well as a beach wagon and cooler.
The Pool has gorgeous color-changing lights and water fountains that are turned on nightly from 7 pm to 10 pm. Pool heat can be added for an additional fee of $50 per night
Our 6-passenger electric golf cart is available for use for a nightly rate that is less than local rental companies' prices. It can be added for $75 per night. It is street-legal with seat belts, lights/turn signals/LED mirrors, digital display, audio system with bluetooth capabilities and storage compartments. Our community has a private spot for golf cart parking less than a block from the beach.

The large Master bedroom features a king bed; a private bathroom with double vanity, large soaker tub, shower; a spacious walk-in closet; ceiling fan and 60" flat-screen smart TV with cable and HBO.
The Front bedroom has a queen bed, smart TV and ceiling fan, the Middle bedroom features a twin over full bed and smart TV, and the Back bedroom has queen over queen bunk beds plus a smart TV. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, a roomy pantry, and a convenient breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with all dishes, pots/pans, accessories and small appliances. It has lots of cupboard space, a breakfast nook and even a wine cooler fridge.
The dining table in the front room will seat 7-8 for sit down dining or game nights.
Marigot Place is your home away from home with everything you need for a relaxing vacation on the Emerald Coast. Take a short walk to the beach, zip down in the 6-passenger golf cart and dip your toes in the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, or relax in the private backyard until your feel like jumping into the swimming pool for more fun in the sun.
You'll be just minutes away from anything you want to do in the Destin, Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach and 30A areas – shopping, dining, deep-sea fishing, dolphin watching cruises, parasailing, golfing, bike rentals, paddle boarding, art galleries, wine tasting, and so much more!
At the end of a great day in the sun you can enjoy the spacious family room with 65" screen smart TV with cable and HBO. Wireless Internet is provided.

Area Information
Destin features a wide array of water-oriented activities, including beautiful white-sand beaches, surfing, parasailing, snorkeling/scuba diving, pontoon boat rentals, windsurfing, kayaking, jet skiing, sightseeing/dinner/dolphin watching cruises, and shelling. You can even swim with the dolphins in the open ocean nearby.
The Destin area is home to a dozen fine golf courses. There are nearby state forests with biking trails and bike and canoe rentals. And Destin boasts a large fleet of charter fishing boats and day boats for the finest deep sea fishing in this part of the country.
Silver Sands Mall, one of the largest designer outlet malls in the country, is only 3.5 miles from the home. Destin Commons Mall is 3 miles away with a multi-theatre complex. Both have dozens of shops, boutiques and restaurants. The Grand Boulevard shopping center is about five miles away. It has a multi-theatre complex, Publix Grocery, several good restaurants and shops.

About the owner: We try to provide everything you need for your beach vacation. We live in the Destin area and are on call if any problems arise. We take pride in this property and work hard to make it an enjoyable, clean, well-maintained vacation location.
Why this property? Marigot Place is a beautiful, well maintained home in a gated beach community. Destin/Miramar Beach is a family-oriented beach vacation destination, with one of the nicest white sand beaches in the country. Our area has a small-town feel, with lots of shopping and entertainment.

How far to the beach?
3-1/2 blocks with sidewalks all the way. It's an 8-10 minute walk.
Is there parking at the beach?
There is a free county parking lot right on the beach about 5 blocks from the home, another free county lot right across the street, and another free lot off Driftwood Road, a block from the beach.
Our community has a dedicated area for golf cart parking, less than a block from our beach entrance.
Do we have to cross a major highway to get to the beach?
No. You need to cross the beach road, which is a 35 MPH city street. Traffic there is very much aware of pedestrians.
Can I take the golf cart to the beach?
Yes, our street-legal 6-passenger golf cart can be operated by a licensed driver on any road with a speed limit of 35 mph or less, which means you can operate it anywhere in the area, except on Highway 98, the main highway though Destin/Miramar Beach. It must obey the same traffic and parking laws as a passenger automobile.
How far to the nearest restaurant?
Captain Dave's seafood restaurant is right on the beach. You can walk to it - about 3.5 blocks. Kenny D's, a burger and Cajun restaurant is right across the street. Pompano Joe's Seafood restaurant is right on the beach at the east end of the county beach parking lot, about 6 blocks.
How far to a shopping mall?
The large Destin Commons Mall is about 3 miles to the west. The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is about 3 miles to the east. The Grand Boulevard Shopping Center is about 6 miles to the east. There are grocery stores in or near each mall. There is a 24-hour Super WalMart about 5 miles to the west.

I cant say enough great things about this home. Everything was amazing! We had all amenities one could ask for. Home was walking distance to the beach, is in a quiet, safe community. In a great location to everything around the area. We greatly enjoyed the backyard with its beautiful pool and outdoor sitting areas. The golf cart was definitely a plus and came in handy throughout our stay. Van was simply amazing from the time i booked to the email she sent thanking us for staying with Marigot Place after we got back home. I hope we have the chance to continue to stay in Marigot Place in the years to come.

Great Location within walking distance or short golf cart ride to the beach. Van is wonderful host and has thought of all details and amenities for a comfortable stay. The home is immaculate and as pictured. The pool is a nice addition my family enjoyed in the evenings. Our family dog travels with us and fenced in yard was ideal. We would definitely stay at Marigot Place again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marigot Place. The home was very clean and spacious. Van was a wonderful host. The house was stocked with everything we needed for cooking. And, had all kinds of info on fun places to go and places to eat. The golf cart was very nice and convenient for getting around. We enjoyed the back yard, pool and quiet neighborhood. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed in.

Perfect place to vacation my family our second time there we had a great time we were able to bring our pets again to enjoy the days with us as well, the backyard was spacious for the dogs to run around the beach was so close we were able to walk.Many activities were located close to the house stores were super near by the house was super clean the beds were amazing when taking many people the rooms were great plenty of room each have their own tv everything you need is already included in the house the kitchen was great had fun cooking meals definitely recommend Marigot place we will be definitely be vacationing again!

This is a great place for the whole family. Well maintained, perfectly located for easy beach access without paying "on the beach" prices. Nice yard, clean, well stocked with everything you'll need. We had an unusual rental situation and the owner worked with us and was incredibly understanding and flexible. When the opportunity arises again, Marigot Place will be the choice!

Mr. Larsen provides an excellent home for vacationers! The home was very clean and the open floor plan in the main area was perfect. The patio was very relaxing and being able to let our furry friends outside in the fenced back yard was enjoyable. Bedroom accommodations were great and we loved that there were queen beds in the three bedrooms for our adult children and their wives. So many vacation homes have one or two spare rooms with queen beds, but beyond that they are twins or fulls. The kitchen is really well-stocked and that was a nice bonus as well. Loved having the golf cart for trips to the beach as well as various short excursions. I feel like we can be fairly picky, especially about cleanliness, and we were pleased with our stay. Mr. Larsen has done an excellent job with his home!

Monica P.Comfy home with great space for large family
Family of 10 stayed here very comfortably. The kids loved playing in the yard. The bbq grill was a great plus aswell. The home is just big enough where you wont feel like you’re on top of one another. The walk to the beach was a little bit of a hike with little ones but doable. You can’t drive there because there is no place to park the car or golf cart. The property manager was extremely responsive and even came to bring us a extra set of keys when we accidentally locked ourselves out. The home is equipped with everything you need from bath towels to beach towels. Overall we had a great time and would absolutely book this home again.
