Your next vacation will have something for you, your friends and the whole family to experience! Whether it is the ability to dock the boat(bring-your-own or rent) during your stay, fish from the large captain's dock, kayak in the canals, enjoy the heated pool or visit multiple nearby beaches, there is literally something for everyone. You will only be 12 minutes from the Cape Coral Yacht Club that has a small beach area and awesome restaurant called The Boat House. The larger beaches like Ft. Myers Beach & Bunche Beach are only 20 to 25 minutes from the home. Other nearby beaches include Sanibel Beach, Naples Beach & Captiva Beach which are anywhere from 35 to 55 minutes away.
The home is spacious with over 1,850 sq. ft. and includes 4 beds, 2 bathrooms & 2 large living rooms. The separate living spaces are great because everyone can spread out and enjoy a vacation without being cramped. The home accommodates a maximum of 8 guests with the use of the queen sofa sleeper sofa in the front living room.
Just step outside one of the 2 sliding patio doors to bask in the sun or swim in the heated pool that is fully screen enclosed! The pool(solar & electric) is heated between 86 to 88 degrees year-round without needing to pay additional pool heating fees. The Eastern and Southern sun exposures on the pool will get you that glowing tan throughout the day. When you are wanting relief from the sun, retreat to the wonderful shaded area under the large lanai to stay cool. Take some time to walk around the outside of the property to appreciate the colorful plantings & white sea shell beds. Also, try to discover which palm trees inspired the name Palms Over Water.
The inside of the home was redone and refurnished in 2021 to give Palms Over Water its modern, coastal contemporary vibe. A sense of Florida relaxation will welcome you as soon as you enter the property. And if relaxing for you involves staying connected online or watching TV, we have you covered with high-speed fiber optic internet (750 mbps) & 4 Smart TV's...including a 70" Smart TV and outdoor TV on the lanai.
Palms Over Water Villa has been equipped with everything you need to feel at home during your stay. The fully stocked kitchen is fresh and clean with new sparkling quartz countertops and white tile backsplash. Coffee is provided along with all the pots and pans needed for cooking a homemade meal. There is a pass-through window to the outside lanai bar countertop. The inside kitchen counter also has a breakfast bar. No need to worry about bringing beach gear as the home offers complimentary beach towels, beach chairs, hard-sided and soft sided coolers, beach umbrellas and beach toys! It is important to us that you are comfortable! We want you to have the best night's sleep possible during your stay. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed and it has been appointed with a brand new iComfort by Serta hybrid cooling mattress. The 2nd bedroom has a Sealy Queen Mattress and the 3rd bedroom has a new ZINUS Green Team Cooling Memory Foam Hybrid Mattress w/Pocket Inner Springs. The new sofa queen sleeper in the living room has an upgraded, gel, memory foam mattress. Enjoy your vacation even when you are sleeping!

Located in the desirable area of Cape Coral because of convenient driving and boating distances to all of the best beaches nearby. Getting to Palms Over Water Villa could not be easier, it is a short drive(20-25 minutes) to both Ft. Meyers Airport(RSW) and Punta Gorda Airport(PGD). Spend your time vacationing and less time driving!
You will only be 12 minutes from the Cape Coral Yacht Club that has a small beach. Bigger beaches like Ft. Myers Beach & Bunche Beach are only 20 to 25 minutes from the home. Other nearby beaches include Sanibel Beach, Naples Beach & Captiva Beach which are 40 to 55 minutes away.

The "Tiki Bar & Grill" at the Dolphin Key Resort is close by and has live bands on the weekends. They're always running specials and have reasonably priced drinks all the time. (1502 Miramar St.)
There are boat rental companies that will let you keep the boat in the canal at the property which makes getting to the beaches and canal cruising even more enjoyable!

About the owner: Hi, my name is Brad! My wife and I live in Lakeville, MN with our two boys and two Yorkie dogs. I have been a licensed Real Estate Agent in Minnesota for the past 20 years. My wife Jill has been a special education school teacher her whole career.
For over a year we were looking for a new opportunity for our next real estate adventure that included the dream of a vacation spot. Jill researched to find the perfect city that our family would enjoy a few times a year and would also be an attractive vacation spot that others would enjoy. There were a lot of great options in different parts of the country but we kept coming back to Cape Coral. It offered a variety of beautiful beaches and warm weather...sign us up! What stood out most to us about Cape Coral was everything we kept hearing and reading about the fun, laid-back, boating life that Cape Coral had to offer. At that point, we knew that we had to find a home on a gulf access canal in Cape Coral, FL. It has been an amazing experience and we are loving every minute of it!
Why this property? MISSION:
Our mission is to offer our guests an attractive, comfortable, and clean stay while vacationing in Cape Coral and at our vacation rental. With our home, you will find a peaceful retreat without the clutter but still have all the amenities of being at your own home. We have weekly services pre-scheduled for the pool and lawn. We also want to make sure we limit any potential for pests and bugs and we have a quarterly service for that as well.
We enjoy the process of working with people directly. We like meeting new people and talking with people on a more personal level. We have met and connected with so many wonderful people already just by taking this leap of faith. Florida truly has some of the nicest and most welcoming people around.
We find value in the efficiencies of today's technology like texting, emails, and websites like this, but we also enjoy getting on the phone with you to truly get to know you and what you are looking for from your next vacation rental. We recently stayed at Brad’s vacation home and were very happy with all it had to offer. Decor is very tasteful, Florida beach theme. House is very spacious with a lovely pool and sitting area down on the canal. Brad has anything you would possibly need at his rental. The only thing I missed was a more spacious lanai for lounge chairs around the pool. Brad was very attentive and always ensuring we were happy. We would most definitely rent from him in the future.

We stayed here for 45 days (June-July) and Brad went go beyond taking care of us! The place is immaculately clean with all the stuff we need. It’s very accessible to Fort Myers and is located in the sought after Del Prado blvd. The water access in the backyard with a well maintained pool was very relaxing. Every week a pool guy cleans and a mower cuts the grass. We were a party of 7 and we were comfortable. Brad, was very quick to respond if we need anything. Thank you Brad for an amazing stay!

Spacious, open, modern home with a huge pool. This was the perfect getaway for our girls trip. Brad is a very attentive and accommodating host. Answers questions or concerns almost immediately. Property is very clean and well maintained. Three bedrooms and two baths were more than enough room for all of us. Ample closet or storage space. It would also be a great place to bring the family. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The kitchen was fully stocked. Pool toys galore and paddle boards for water activities. Enjoyed drinking coffee out on the dock overlooking the canal. Lots of wildlife! Just a short drive to many of the beaches that FL has to offer. Overall POW was the perfect place to relax with great friends! We'll definitely be back!

We can not say enough great things about this gorgeous vacation home! The home was incredibly clean, the layout was great, the beds were extremely comfortable and the home was very well stocked with towels, dishes, pool toys etc. We really loved the modern decor and "beachy" colors. We traveled with our two kids who really enjoyed the sunshine and teal rooms, they LOVED the pool (we could hardly get them out:) and they really enjoyed calming down at night in the comfy living room with the Smart TV. Which was awesome to log into our Netflix and Amazon. My husband and I loved relaxing on the outdoor sectional watching the kids swim and having a cocktail at night. We spent most our time around the pool! We also had so much fun with the ring/string game by the pool! Hours of laughs and entertainment! The location is excellent. We rented a car and could get to any restaurant or shop with ease. We also rented a boat one day and cruised to Fort Myers Beach. We would stay at this home time and time again! The owners are also very responsive and wonderful, ensuring our stay was perfect. Thank you Palms over Water for an unforgettable vacation!

Such a lovely home in a very quiet neighborhood. The home had all the amenities you could want at your disposal. Being on the canal, allowed us to bring our boat and not have to fuss at the boat ramps. Having the screened in pool was delightful for the whole family, especially the kids. We will definitely be back. Loved the home! Loved the town!

Jeff C.Top-notch home for your Florida vacation
The first thing you notice walking through the door is how clean and well decorated this home is. It is the perfect place for a couple, a family, or a group of friends, as it very spacious, with all the amenities you would need for a Florida vacation. The pool is an excellent place to start and finish the day, after visiting the many locations that Cape Coral has to offer. With so many restaurants and stores near by, you will not go hungry. Cooking at the house was easy, as the owners have thought of everything that you would need. We spent some time kayaking the canal system with the provided kayaks, which made for some great sightseeing right from the dock.I will come back to Palms Over Water Villa without a doubt! It is an amazing home away from home.

We had a great time at POW Villa. Beautiful property. This house was really amazing: new, modern, clean, great lay out, and has everything you could want. The beds were super comfortable, bathroom had plenty of towels, and the shower pressure was very good! The pool was very spacious and overlooked the canal. We spent hours per day in the pool. The kitchen was well stocked. Property owners were super responsive and easy to communicate with. We absolutely loved staying here and would rent here again!
