I'm Reynold, the proud owner of Ocean’s Door Getaways, and I’m excited to help you experience the magic of the coast.In March 2023, I purchased a unit in Panama City Beach, Florida, a place that holds deep personal meaning. I bought it with my daughter in mind—she was 11 at the time and had always been enchanted by the ocean. My vision was to create a sanctuary where she could enjoy the beauty of the sea on every visit, while also giving back to the community by renting it out when we weren’t using it.From day one, I dove into an exciting transformation. With years of experience working alongside my father on his investment properties in the late '80s (still waiting on that paycheck, by the way—haha), I felt well-prepared for the journey. I earned my real estate license in 2001, my broker’s license in 2005, and have specialized in property management since 2010. Updating this unit seemed like the natural next step. What followed exceeded all expectations—a simple space evolved into a cozy, inviting vacation home designed to welcome guests and create lasting memories.As the unit transformed, something even more profound happened. I, too, began to feel a shift in my own sense of peace and calm. The warm greetings from the locals, combined with the breathtaking views from the balcony and the gentle ocean breeze, made me feel at home in a way I hadn’t anticipated. In that moment, I knew I was hooked for life. Panama City Beach wasn’t just a vacation spot; it was a community where everyone could feel a genuine sense of belonging.Through my experiences with vacationers across Panama City Beach and the Gulf Coast, I gained valuable insights into how vacation management companies can enhance both the guest and owner experience. Drawing from my time running PCM Computers in the late ‘90s and early 2000s, where I provided computer systems to universities, businesses, and individuals, I merged my tech expertise with over a decade of property management experience. This fusion gave rise to Ocean’s Door Getaways—an innovative service that blends AI and automated messaging to elevate the guest experience while maintaining a local touch.
