I am a semi retired Psychologist, and worked my whole life in order to eventually live in paradise. I found it in Englewood on Manasota Key, a place that few people know about and is the best kept secret in terms of a Tropical paradise. Few people have heard about it, which is just fine by me because so few people know about the beautiful mostly private beach that you can literally walk up to 10 miles one way on to Venice if you are crazy enough, or passionate enough, like me about Long Beach walks. It’s one of the few places that has both amazing privacy for beaches, amazing wildlife on the beaches, and yet the front yards of the property are classic “old Florida“ with trees that age from 200 to 1000 years old, and is a place that is truly Tropical. My own personal standards for vacation rentals are very high, and I am very picky myself, and so I endeavor to create the same high standards for the properties that I own and manage, and I try to create guest experiences that match my own high standards. Cleanliness is incredibly important to me, and having everything working and functioning is also super important to me, and I work very hard to maintain that for standard for all of my properties for rent. I work super hard to create positive guest experiences, and to be helpful in terms of orienting guests to local resources, and I truly come from a place of being passionate about loving where I live, and wanting to share it with others. I’ve been known to take guests on wildlife walks at night seeing sea turtles nesting, or spending time talking with them about how Banyan trees growing from germinated seeds in the top of Palm Trees, and transitioning to dropping Roots and engulfing other host plants. I enjoy showing people how to find fossilized shark teeth, and recommending favorite restaurants or music venues. Bottom line is that I love where I live, I worked my whole life to live here, and I really truly love to share it with people who appreciate it. I always work hard to create memorable vacation experiences for people, and I especially value would I refer to as multigenerational Rentals where grandparents are renting my full four bedroom home, and inviting their adult children and grandchildren to enjoy the beauty and Natural surrounding of Manasota Key. It’s a true passion of mine to share my Tropical paradise, and I absolutely love to see couples and families share the joy of my Tropical paradise. I also work very hard to earn repeat guest visits, because I also really cherish some of the long-term relationships I’ve developed with guests who return time and time again to paradise. In a world where life is stressful, and life goes by quickly, the idea of helping people enjoy slowing life down, taking in the beauty of the surroundings that they vacation in, and really appreciating the natural beauty of Manasota Key, is a true passion of mine. If you come and visit, I’m respectful of your space and privacy, but if you’re interested in the things that I am also passionate about, I’m also happy to share it with you generously. I’m on site typically from the middle of October until the third week in May. I hope to see you in my paradise, and I truly hope you love it as much as I do.
