Our executive 4 bedroom 3 bathrooms fully air-conditioned villa with its own south facing screened pool, spa and patio area, a beautiful home from home on the secure and prestigious Highgate Park gated community. It is equipped with every possible facility you and your family will need to ensure you have a great time.
Our house is furnished to a very high standard and we strive to ensure that we have everything you could possibly need. We want you and your family to enjoy our home and have the best holiday possible.
Unique Benefits
We have taken the best parts of all the previous homes we have stayed in and added them all into ours. We have provided little touches that we hope will make a big difference to your stay. Little things like providing a charger for iphone and watch at the side of the master and guest bedroom, extra towels and lots and lots of pool towels (in a convenient basket at the door), an electric pump to blow up inflatables. A spare dyson fan that can go in any room in addition to the AC and ceiling fans, fluffy blankets when you are sat with popcorn on the recliner sofa watching a film. We also have cool boxes for taking to the beach and lots of containers and ice packs for the perfect picnic.
Why Kids Love It
They love the pool best, splashing around but they also like the game consoles and the fact that every TV has Netflix and other popular channels.
Area Information
Close to Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, Aquatica and all the major theme parks and attractions, including world class shopping, dozens of golf courses and many local attractions and historical places of interest. It really is the ideal location.
Favorite Places To Eat
Our favorite places to each are Applebee's , The Longhorn and Texas Road House. They are all amazing but we also like takeaway from our local town centre (Berry). There there is a pizza takeaway (Mia Pizza), Chinese (Bamboo) or we sometimes get cooked chicken and wedges from Publix.

About the owner: We are Julie & Robert Brownlie, we have 4 children and 1 grandson; we live in Fife, Scotland and simply love Florida. We love everything about Florida, the theme parks, the water parks, the beaches, the shopping and the thing we love best is “Our Florida Vacation Home” we enjoy nothing better than having a barbecue or playing in the pool, enjoying the spa or just simply relaxing in front of the television.
We have been coming to Florida and particularly to Highgate for a number of years. We purchased this villa in 2013 and we have taken the best parts of all the other villas we have stayed in to ensure that we have everything you need whilst staying in our home.
Why this property? We really want this to be a home away from home for all our guests; we know that the little things can make all the difference to your stay and we have tried to provide as many of these as possible. We come out as much as we can usually 2 or 3 times per year and every time we come we buy something new or try to make a positive improvement. We welcome any suggestions or ideas on what we can do to make your stay better. We would appreciate any feedback in the guest book.

Clean and comfortable. Safe neighbourhood and close to everything. Would definitely stay again! The only negative thing is there’s a $75 cleaning fee for the bbq (which may be common).

The BBQ cleaning fee is only when, it's not been cleaned, if the BBQ is cleaned there is no additional charge. We do make mention of this in the information and highlight in red to try and avoid charging but it is something we get charged for and so have to pass it on.

We loved our stay at your villa. It was absolutely spotless and Julie & family have thought of everything. We had a very relaxing stay spending plenty time at the pool. We have stayed at many villas over the years we’ve been going to Florida and this was our favourite. We hope to return with our grandchildren in the future.

Tom and Donna F.Fabulous villa in a fantastic location
We had a three week stay and enjoyed every moment. Everything you need for your stay is supplied for you at the villa. Located in a gated community, it is in an ideal location. Just 15-20 minutes from Disney Parks and just five minutes away from Walmart and Publix. There is a great choice of restaurants close by, American, English, Italian, Chinese, Indian, the choice is endless. If you want to go further afield the villa is five minutes away from Highway 27 which gets you on to I4 in next to no time making it easy to see Orlando and beyond. We were lucky enough to have some days that were just too hot to visit somewhere so we made good use of the pool and spa.We’re so glad we chose to stay at the villa and would highly recommend to everybody. If we ever get a chance to return then we’ll be sure to book this villa.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The pool area was very private and had plenty of chairs and lounges. The kitchen had every thing you could possibly need . It was very clean and the contact person was always accessible if the need arose. It was great staying in this wonderful safe feeling gated community. Would definitely stay there again .

This home is near to all the Orlando parks and activities, but tucked into a quiet community. It's a great place to relax, cook family meals in the well-equipped kitchen and catch up as a family. The technology in this home is outstanding. The HUGE TV in the family room with the reclining sectional sofa is the perfect to watch a movie with the kiddos after enjoying Orlando or the wonderful pool and hot tub all day. Julie is an amazing, responsive host. Highly recommend!

I booked this house with very short notice after deciding to extend my Florida trip. House looked perfect on the photos & description & Julie the owner replied very quickly to my enquiry. I’ve stayed in at least 50 houses in Florida over the past 20 years & this is absolutely 1 of the best! Exactly as described & simply beautiful. Very tastefully furnished with lots of great “extras” that you don’t often find. Even things that might not mean much to some people but to me really added to the stay - hair straighteners, champagne flutes, dozens of coat hangers, a printer etc The house was like new, everything in very good stylish condition. Lovely pool area & Julie very kindly included pool heat for me which meant I spent a lot of time in it. You literally would not need to bring anything other than your suitcase. I loved the “normal” huge Samsung washing machine & drier as the usual old American ones with the pole in the middle are brutal on your laundry. The community was very pretty and quiet and very well maintained. Very handy for everything but happily just away enough from the crazy traffic of Kissimmee & I - Drive. The neighbours on either side were adorable. Met them on day 2 & was invited round for drinks or to ask for anything I needed! I loved it so much Julie kindly let me stay on a few extra days & even let my poor stranded friends stay, when their rental was double booked. I made sure I kept it as tidy & spotless as I found it as I felt it was like my own home & deserved the same love & care. That’s how awesome it was. I’m only sad I had to leave & worried that I’ve now bigged it up so much, there’ll never be any free weeks left for me to go back!!! Thank you again Julie & family for loaning me your fabulous house x

If you are looking for the ideal location for the theme parks then this Florida Vacation Home hosted by Julie & Robert is just perfect. On the gated community of Highgate Park gives that extra layer of security. We have been spending our Christmas holidays in Florida for the past 14 years since our children were quite young and have never stayed in the same villa twice. However this one ticks all the boxes for us-I enjoy the peace away from the family room in the 2nd lounge, the bedrooms are not disturbed by sound from the living areas, and the pool deck has enough space for loungers as well as a dining area and gets the sun all day & well into the evening. The kitchen was adequately equipped for cooking our traditional British Christmas dinner, since in the past I have found some kitchens quite sparse. There was cleaning products available, laundry detergent, refuse sacks, all these little things make a huge difference allowing the previous guest to pay it forward instead of entering a property with absolutely nothing. This place is truly a home from home and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

3 generations stayed here. We loved the location. The gated community, the shops and restaurants round about. It was like a home from home. The villa is spotless with lots of home comforts. Plenty of space to get away from each other too. Have already booked to go again.

I cannot praise this villa enough. It was very difficult to get the kids to actually leave the pool every day to go and do things we had planned.Julie is the most patient and helpful person and I wouldn’t have been able to plan all of it without her.Everything was nearby which was a bonus so very enjoyable. I can’t say enough about how lovely our stay was. The home was very clean, spacious and well stocked. With two living rooms and four bedrooms, two families could easily share the rental. Many amenities were nearby and the commute to Disney was one of the best we have had.Our daughter is in a wheelchair and the home had easy access. We get to Florida every couple of years and will be looking up this rental for our next trip.
