This 6 bedroom (including a bunk room) 4 bath home features breathtaking views of Sunset Lake and surrounding areas as you walk in and a bright open floor plan that encourages relaxation the second you enter.
The well-appointed kitchen features hi-end appliances, a wine cooler, custom cabinetry, and countertops. The first-floor master bedroom with a king bed has it all! It features views of the pool and lake, private deluxe master bath with a custom tub and shower. Also has a walkout to the covered sitting area with extra-large outdoor TV.
The first floor also features an additional king bedroom and a bunk room that the kids will love.
The second floor features 3 additional bedrooms, one with 2 queen beds, a walkout to a sitting area on the balcony overlooking the pool and lake. There is an additional king bedroom with another balcony for viewing, both sharing a full bath with a shower only. There is a "Second Master" on the second floor that features a private bath with a shower, a king bed, and a pull-out queen-sized sleeper sofa. There is a covered sitting area with a large TV that swings around so your guest lounging at the pool can watch their favorite football game while laying on a raft in the pool!

The home was perfect for our family. Walking into the home with a straight view to the lake was impressive. Just a block to the beach made this comfortable for all. The pool is small compared to what the photos show but turned out to be just fine for a family of 5 adults. The home was clean but could have been cleaner. Outdoor lounge chairs could use a cleaning. Small gnats in home on our arrival. They stayed mostly in kitchen and dining area even though we were very tidy. Sand on floors and a lot under the weaved (and slippery) rugs. If I would suggest a big thing, it would be to make the microwave more accessible for average height people. I am 5'5" and had a hard time reaching in. Way too high! Destin is a happening place. There is so much to do for all ages. It is busy and you will find yourself sitting in traffic for quite a while many days especially end of day work hours. Riding bike was nice but if you went on Hwy 98, many vehicles were not accepting even though there is a bike lane. The views and the water is incredible! The sand is unlike any I have felt even when out of the country. Adult kids did the dolphin cruise and loved it. They also kayaked and paddle boarded which they found difficult in the ocean (they are experienced). McGuire's is a sure hit! We've been to the Pensacola location and both are worth it. Expect the steak meal to be at least $45. Kenny D's is a great place to hang, meet people and if you are a good singer, Karaoke is on Wed. nights. The food was delicious! If you want a great seafood place, go to the Sea Market.. OMG! Their seafood is so fresh and the owners are wonderful to talk to. We had scallops, RED shrimp, alligator, fish, and blue crabs multiple times during our week stay. You can take it home to cook or they will steam for you. I recommend Destin for families that like to be busy and be around crowds. We were told there was a bus that went throughout and saw only a few "bus stops" but never saw a bus. Possibly it is more like the trolley taxi we saw only two times during our 7 day stay? We had two rental cars so getting around was not difficult. Locals were very nice and accommodating. The community was very clean, beautiful and secure. Having so many codes to enter the community and home took a bit of time to remember which one went to which code box but overall it was fine. I gave the four star only because of the sand, gnats and microwave location. Otherwise it would have been a five
