About the owner: My name is Linda Kidd. I live in Americus, Georgia. I have owned this property since 2013.
I have been paraplegic since 1965 and have faced many traveling challenges, mostly in the area of inaccessiblity. I have always loved the beach and had never been successful at finding a place where I could go and really enjoy getting to either the balcony or the beach. It became a dream, but also a goal, to find an attractive, accessible, worry free beachfront vacation property that I could use and enjoy, but could also offer to fellow disabled and non-disabled travelers and their families. When I saw this property I vowed to make that dream come true.
I manage the property myself and find great pleasure in working with guests to make their stay as pleasant as possible.
Why this property? I first became interested in this property after being invited to visit a friend who owned a unit at Treasure Island. Upon seeing the complex, the spacious layout of the unit and the great location, I felt this was the place to fulfill a long time dream of owning beachfront property. I was aslo dreaming of providing a wheelchair accessible beachfront property to disabled and non-disabled guests.
Not only are the units spacious (1370 sq. ft.), but the open floor plan and large master bedroom and bath made acessibility modification easier. The unit has a roll-in/walk-in shower, a sink vanity that is open underneath to accommodate a wheelchair user, and a ramp to the balcony. Treasure Island also has a ramp leading directly to the beach.
The balcony is 30 ft. long and offers an unobstructed view to the west making for some unbelievable sunset views. The bay is visible from the Thomas Drive side of the property, while the Gulf of Mexico is right outside the door on the ocean side. Shell Island, to the east, is visible from the balcony.
Treasure Island is located at the east end; often referred to as "the quiet end" of the PCB beach, and is within walking/bike riding distance to St. Andrews Sate Park. Schooner's, Scampi's and Patch's Pub, local favorites, are within walking distance. Very close to the Treasure Island Marina, and Captain Anderson's, this property is hard to beat.
Frequently Asked Questions
What floor is this unit on.
Unit 2003 is on the 20th floor which offers a spectacular view for several miles west down the beach. Another spectacular view is looking over the balcony rails straight down into the water, often being able to see manta rays and other sea life.
Reviews
Always amazing!
We have stayed at Linda’s condo several times and have already reserved for next year as well. It is so relaxing! The decor is beautiful, the kitchen is well stocked and everything is sparkling. The master shower is fantastic with two shower heads. We love Treasure Island because it is at the quieter East End of the beach but still close to great restaurants. My teenagers love Liza’s poolside snack bar. The elevators are fast so we never wait long. This year I had my grocery order delivered to the door of the condo. It was great and I highly recommend it! Can’t wait until next year!

Owner response
Tim and Jill, Thank you so much for the great review. Treasure Island is a great property and I am so happy to be an owner there and to be able to offer my accessible property to those travelers are unable to find appropriate/accessible accommodations in other places. You have been loyal guests and I look forward to your returns for years to come. Linda
Stunning in every way!
You will not be disappointed when you book this condo! It had everything and more! It's very spacious, the decor is beautiful, beds were perfect!! Loved the pillows by the way! The master bath was amazing, so much room! The views from the balcony was AMAZING!! We were able to see dolphins, stingrays, and even manatees!! The wait for the elevator was not as bad as with some other places in PCB. We loved how it was on the east end of the beach, crowds were not an issue. The condo was very clean and was stocked with everything you would need for laundry, dishes, quick sand clean ups! We really enjoyed the umbrella, sand toys, and boogie board! We found the board games the day we left, that was a bummer but it's a great option for the days you want to spend indoors. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in PCB!!
