Why Kids Love It
Kids are welcome for one week or less if your visiting relatives as long as total occupancy remains 4 or less. Home is not equipped to entertain children but when visiting relatives, pools and golf cart rides keep them busy. The neighborhood is a senior living street where noise and disturbances are not allowed.
Area Information
Surrounding area is one of the prettiest - Glenview Road is a really just a long driveway leading to the club and the property. It has a pond, bridge, lovely mature landscape with tall trees and flowers. The HOA handles all lawns and shrubs to keep a neat uniform appeal.

About the owner: Retired professionals. We have been operating as a rental Vacation home since 2010 and take pride in having satisfied customers. We have used other sites but they are getting crazy expensive with the fees they charge travelers so we are brand new to this site but check the famous one and you will see we have over 73 reviews with 5 star ratings by most past guests.
Lived in many states WI, CO, AZ, IA and FL. We love to be active, Golf, ski, photography, visit our national parks especially in the Western part of the US.

Why this property? VIEWS and Fantastic location. Glenview Country club is part of this community. Great dining specials at reasonable prices. Golf course with driving range just around the corner. Special security gate to our secluded little neighborhood (2 small streets). This neighborhood is so impressive, neatly maintained and friendly. This is an end unit - no one to the south. The back yard is private from the lanai as you watch the golfers and enjoy the View. Both Spanish Springs and Sumter Landing are quick cart or car rides for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Is there a Shuttle to and from Airport?
Yes The Village Shuttle from MCO. The shuttle drops off & picks up at Sumter Landing. Reservation required. Arrangements can be made to be dropped off or picked up at the home.
Do I need a car or can I get around with Golf Cart?
You can use a car or golf cart to get around town. Most travelers use both. There have been travelers that used golf cart only but keep in mind - winter months can be cool and FL does get a lot of rain. Other Travelers have used car only - I personally just use a car and then use the Country Club's golf carts when golfing.

This was our first stay in The Villages and we could not have had a better time. The home was extremely well equipped, the owner extremely accommodating, the location perfect for a less than 15 minute drive to two of the town centers and less than 100 yards from an excellent restaurant at the Country Club. Highly recommended and will certainly be our requested location for any future trip to this area. Our party was just my wife and me but this home is spacious enough to accommodate two couples or a family of 6 members. Garage parking was provided for our vehicle and the garage was also large enough to accommodate a golf cart that we rented ($36 / day).

If you want privacy in The Villages this is the place. Beautifully decorated, every appliance one would need, and very comfortable. The two bedrooms are far enough apart that it is like separate quarters altogether. Super clean and the host went out of her way to assure a no drama stay. I will absolutely stay here again.

Our stay was short but very much enjoyable in this beautifully decorated and cozy end unit cottage home. It is situated on a immaculately well groomed golf course where you can enjoy it as your view while having your morning breakfast, evening dinner or leisurely relaxing with a glass of wine. The rooms are spacious, the modern kitchen is my dream kitchen with the breakfast nook area as a nice view. The dining room is elegantly decorated to accommodate 2 or 6 guest. The grand LR/family room is comfortable with soft leather seating for viewing the TV or entertaining. The two spacious bedrooms are located far enough from each other to give guest their privacy. The garage and laundry room are situated conveniently. This cottage home is located right next door to the Country Club where the food is delicious! The pool area is steps away. The grounds are wonderful. We enjoyed a nice 2 1/2 mile morning and evening walk. Our host was so gracious and available when needed. We will definitely visit again!

This vacation home doubled everything we expected. Although The Villages offer a multitude of activities - both night and day, this beautifully decorated home was immaculately clean and fresh. We were definitely within our element simply relaxing on the lanai and observing the constant flow of golfers approach and putt on the 9th green of Foxrun - making it difficult for us to leave the home in order to go play ourselves.The host’s description of both the home and location is without discrepancy. The host was easily accessible and genuinely helpful.Don’t believe you have to be a golfer to enjoy the clubhouse’s entertainment or food immediately next door or the magnificent home view. Both the young at heart and mature adults can find their happy spot here.The home is in close proximity to an array of food choices, shopping options, and most any other desired activity at The Villages or in the surrounding area. An individual is only limited by self and time.We would have loved to have stayed much longer and will do so on our next visit to the host’s beautiful home!

From the moment we drove through The Villages to our gated community destination we knew we made the right choice/decision! The manicured lawns, gorgeous landscaping and beautiful blooming flowers were a delightful “welcome”. When we unlocked the front door to our “new home” for 2 weeks we were in AWE!! The place was SO inviting,SO spacious, SO classy, SO beautifully decorated and So well maintained! We loved every aspect the house had to offer...even the garage! We especially enjoyed the lanai for our morning breakfasts, for golf watching throughout the day and then the “icing on the cake” were the spectacular views of the sunsets! The area was so great for daily scenic walks or the other amenities included with your Guest ID card. It also was convenient for day trips to both coasts. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time even considering the COVID-19 situation... We were blessed that Laurie “shared” her home with us and made our 50th Wedding Anniversary very memorable and special! She was the best! Hope to be back again.... Bic & Ron
