Cute little lake house located next to lovely Lake Weir and Gator Joes Beach Bar and Grill. It is a very short walk to the public beach there and only 12 miles to the shopping and nightlife of The Villages. The home has a large, full kitchen and a large capacity washer / dryer on the rear screened patio. There is a bonus room with a futon sofa, office desk and chair. The living room boasts a 43" smart TV. The master bedroom has a queen bed, 32" TV and sitting chair. The home has complimentary expanded cable and 5G WIFI internet for your use during your stay. The front yard has an 8' x 8' deck for relaxing and tanning and the backyard is private and also has nice lawn chairs and a lounger for sunning. There is also a hammock along with a gas and charcoal BBQ grill in the backyard. The home has an offset garage that has mountain bikes, a stand up paddleboard, a fishing kayak and sit in kayak and they are complimentary to use with your stay.

This cottage is in a nice location with friendly neighbors. A wonderful beach bar and restaurant is a short walk away. Hiking and biking trails and several state and county parks are within a short drive. The cottage was very comfortable with a nice fenced in back yard which was great to enjoy with my golden doodle. I had no issues with the cottage and the owner was in touch with me frequently to be sure everything was ok. The Villages and shopping was also an easy drive. I would love to return.

My family and I stayed one weekend at the lake house. One look was all it took to call in love. Its a nice little cozzy lake house. Its literally within walking distance of the beach and of the local favorite Gator Joe's. Its in a small little remote town in the forest. Its right in the middle for any family activity you could think. Its a little over one hour from Daytona beach, it's about 30 minutes from Ocala(more dining choices), it's about 1.5 hours from Orlando. So if you are planning on doing several things in different places. This home is perfect. Even if you are wanting a quite get away. Locals are nice and friendly too.
