TROPICAL BREEZE is a luxury beachfront house with an incredible view of beautiful, white-sand beaches and natural sand dunes, where dolphins can be seen close to shore almost daily. Tropical Breeze is located 1/4 mile from St. Joseph Peninsula State Park.
A great deal of love and attention to detail has gone into making this your perfect home away from home. The kitchen is full size, with stainless steel appliances, pots, pans, cooking utensils, and Mikasa seashell dishes. No mismatched anything in this kitchen. Everything is in place to make it a pleasure to cook in this fully equipped kitchen.
Features: Elevator to all floors, 60" LTE flat-screen Smart TV in the living area and 46" flat screen TV in large master, smaller flat screens in the other 3 bedrooms. Wi-Fi, plus the 8.5-mile bike path.
The beachside of Tropical Breeze features a lower screen porch with a 7 person sectional, 2 rocking chairs and a large wood table that seats 8. There is also a large upper porch with 4 chaise lounges and 4 Polywood Adirondack chairs. A view of the sunset and beach can be enjoyed from either level.
Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bathroom, tv and its own name. The master suite is 'White Sands' and features a 4 poster, king-size bed, executive desk, 46' flat-screen TV, WI-FI, Gulf-view, deck and an oversized bath with his and her vanities, large glass shower and Jacuzzi tub.
The second master is 'Kings Crown', which includes a king-size Victorian bed, 32' led flat-screen TV and a gulf view. 'Palm Paradise' is located on the main floor, with a queen-size, sleigh bed, a large Jacuzzi tub and a view of the sunrise. 'Under the Sea' is decorated with a tropical fish theme and has 2 sets of bunk beds, full on the bottom and twin on the top.
Also for the kids or kids at heart, we have our 'Beach Club' on the large patio under the house, which includes a seating area, picnic table, Weber gas grill and an outdoor enclosed hot water shower. This house offers a large selection of areas to sneak away for an hour or two.
Cancellation Policy: We will refund any payment that we can recoup by rebooking your dates to another guest. The further out you cancel, the better chance there is that we can rent at the full price. If you cancel at the last minute and we can't rebook it, there would be no refund or if we have to rebook it at a great discount then you would receive whatever we can recoup from the new renters. If there is a mandatory Cape San Blas evacuation then you would get a full refund for the days not used.

It’s Cape San Blas! How could it be anything but perfect?!Trust me. I’ve stayed many places on the cape. We started going in the 90’s, were married there in 2001 and have been back many, many times since. If this house is available in the future, it’ll be where we stay, again and again and again.My judgement of a place always starts with the comfort of the beds and the quality of the shower. Both: spectacular. Enough said.Next: views. 2 screened decks overlooking the ocean. 2BRs upstairs share the top deck, dining area and tv room share the lower. Both a relaxing, well-appointed, and spacious and protected (did I mention the screens) from flys/mosquitos.Kitchen amenities. We cook. A lot. We cooked here. A lot. And with ease. The only small kitchen tool we needed and couldn’t find was a slotted spoon. That’s it. The one minuscule shortcoming of this wonderful house was that I couldn’t find a slotted spoon. You know what I did about it? I drank a margarita, used a regular spoon and forgot about it (till now…and im getting a margarita craving, again!). I’m sure there are people for whom that’d be a monumental showstopper. I don’t hang with those people.Cleanliness: It’s clean, it’s beautiful. This place is awesome.Beach: (good for you for reading this far). This is where this place REALLY shines. If you know the cape, you know that the depth of lots of beachfront property there has been significantly reduced by hurricanes and other erosion. This spot is fortunate that it still has not only a nice, deep beach, but a large protective dune between the house and the beach.Rent it. You won’t be disappointed. Even if you think you can’t live without a slotted spoon.Truth be told, there’s probably a slotted spoon somewhere and its possible that, due to the aforementioned margaritas, I might not have searched somewhat lazily. One additional great thing about this place: you don’t have to work hard to learn where stuff is stored. The cabinets are labeled!

A Tropical Breeze was a wonderful vacation home for our family of five. We loved how much space there was, how well organized and the beautiful beach! The home has so many thoughtful touches that you don't find in most vacation rentals. You can tell the owners care about their guests from comfortable beds and furniture to plenty of everything from kitchen needs to books, movies and beach gear. They have thought of everything in this beautiful home. The owners are available and communicate well if you need anything. We came down just after hurricane Helene and the owners were very helpful with any questions we had.Just book it! You will love it!

Linda H.Love affair with a beach house
We are in love with this beach house. It is perfectly located on the beautiful white sands of the gulf. This house has an elevator which makes unloading and getting groceries to the kitchen and suitcases to the bedrooms a breeze. The house is beautifully decorated and includes two decks. The kitchen is better equipped in my kitchen at home. Our family members are beach people and are always anxious to get to the pristine white sands right across the boardwalk, steps from this house. In late afternoon we have the best view of the sunset. The owners provide many beach chairs and other sand toys. There are few pleasures that our family enjoys more than tropical breeze

We absolutely loved staying in “A Tropical Breeze.” The home is beautifully decorated and also very comfortable and made us feel right at home. We had 7 adults and 3 children so everyone was well accommodated and all of the beds were very comfortable. There were even bathrooms for every bedroom plus a half bath on the main floor. We loved that there were not only 8 chairs at the dining table but also 5 chairs at the bar right beside the table so everyone was able to eat together. The views were amazing and the decks were so large with lots of comfortable seating. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need! There’s even a pantry that we were able to put our groceries in so we didn’t have to leave everything out on the counters. The elevator helped so much with sending up luggage and groceries. The home has lots of games, cards and dvds for rainy days. There were very nice beach chairs for our use and many beach toys as well. The beach was just steps away and the ocean in that area was amazing. That was the farthest north we had ever stayed on the cape and I couldn’t believe how much nicer the water was. It was so calm that it was like a lake all week and so clear that we could see right through it. Everyone kept saying that this was their favorite house. We had the best vacation ever and can’t wait to stay here again and make many more memories. The owner is so kind and so easy to work with. She even checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much Mrs. Pridemore for sharing your home with us! We will be back!

I’ve been visiting and vacationing in SW Florida for over 20 years. This was my first visit and stay in the Panhandle and Cape San Blas. We stayed at A Tropical Breeze for 5 nights with immediate family (parent, siblings, children, and grandchildren). The beach house was so spacious and we all had our own bedroom and private bathrooms. The elevator was especially helpful for moving luggage in and out and for my elderly mother to have easy access to go outdoors.The kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliances and dishware and cookware that you will need for making your own meals. There is also a gas grill for cooking outside.I would definitely recommend staying at a Tropical Breeze for your next family vacation. The house sits right on the beach (with a short walk over the dunes to get to it). They have plenty of outdoor chairs for use by the guests and an enclosed lanai on both floors with plenty of seating for relaxation and visiting. The views of the sunset are pretty spectacular also!There is plenty of indoor activities for cooler or rainy days with DVD’s, board games and books.We made such special memories with our family during our stay and look forward to coming back for another visit in the future.

Our house was so lovely and convenient! All was comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The sunsets from the porches were so beautiful and even though the water was cold, we could not have picked a better place to stay for a get-away. Cape San Blas is just beautiful in November and very few people there. We found some great restaurants with outside seating and places to get the best take out. We got bikes to ride, pickle courts and wonderful shells on the beach.The only drawback was we were not prepared for the flies on the beach that time of year. If you are walking in the water, they don't bother you but some days it was difficult to sit on the beach. Other than that, I would recommend this house and Cape San Blas!

I can't rave enough about this wonderful beach house and the awesome location! There were seven of us and we stayed for a week. We loved it so much! - There are tables and many chairs on both decks with nice, clean cushions. The screened-in deck is a safe place for our little one, and the upper deck has a great view (it even has hummingbird feeders). - The spacious bedrooms all have their own bathrooms. The beds were all very comfortable. The master bathroom is incredible -- a huge walk-in shower, a jacuzzi, a large vanity with two sinks, lots of room and lots of sunlight. - The living room has plenty of comfortable seating, gas logs and a big TV. - The dining area has an enormous table! We really put that to good use. - The kitchen looks out over the whole room and out all the windows for wonderful views while cooking. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked with quality equipment -- probably the best stocked kitchen we've ever seen at the Cape, and we've been renting houses there for over 20 years. We like to buy fresh seafood and cook there at the house all week and this is the perfect place for that. - And the elevator... what can I say. No more carrying suitcases and groceries up stairs! Yes! - Outside: plenty of parking space, shower with hot water, a nice Weber gas grill, logs for a beach fire, chairs and picnic table. - A nice boardwalk to the awesome beach, which you begin to feel is your own private beach. - The owner contacted us directly and made sure everything was perfect. Thank you, Roni! - We fell in love with A Tropical Breeze and look forward to staying there again!

My wife, three kids, parents, and I rented A Tropical Breeze for a week in July. The home is gorgeous and immaculately maintained with everything you could want for a perfect vacation. The kitchen is well stocked and the elevator is a huge help when moving in/out. The white sand beach is simply beautiful and just steps from the door. Be sure to catch the sun set over the Gulf in the evening - it's amazing! The state park is also an easy walk or bike ride from the house. If you are looking to escape the crowds of most resort towns and unwind on a magnificent beach, then A Tropical Breeze is the ideal place! We cannot wait to return.

No, we do not allow pets.
The Piggly Wiggly is in Port St. Joe 17 miles away. The Trading Post and Scallop Cove Convenience stores are 3-4 miles away and are well stocked with most items needed.

Rish Park has an Olympic size pool and it's pen from 8:30 am until sunset. The cost is $6 for a carload of 8 people or $2 for a person on a bike or walking. Rish Park is 1.4 miles away from A Tropical Breeze and is on Cape San Blas Rd.
