Deposits and subsequent payments are accepted in the form of personal checks. 50% of remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. The full balance must be received 30 days prior to arrival. Please note that rates are subject to change without notice and that seasonal, holiday and special events may be higher.
Regarding cancellations: 60 days prior to arrival, deposits will be refunded in full, less a $75 administration fee – this fee will be retained. If the cancellation occurs within 59 days, any and all deposits and or rents will be forfeited.
All vacation rentals will be taxed on rent and cleaning fees; State Sales Tax (7.5%) & Monroe County Tourist Development Tax (5%) totaling 12.5% tax.

Pablo C.Perfect boat and pet friendly home in the Lower Keys
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Retreat. The home was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. A couple of menial things didn't work, and Christine (Rudy) took prompt care of them while keeping us to date. We trailered our 23ft boat all the way from Houston and we loved boating, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving in the Lower Keys. And our dog loved the view of the deer from the balcony .

The house was very spacious for our family of four and our little furry companion.The kitchen was huge and easy to work around. The deck was awesome being screened in and with fans!It was complicated to back the boat trailer into the driveway due to two smaller gates. It was a tight squeeze. Took many adjustments to get it in. Being there for a month, and no access to a boat lift, we needed to get the boat out to clean it a couple of times and once to do a repair.Overall, we had a great vacation. Loved being on Big Pine!
