Less than 5 minutes to Spa Beach, North Shore Park, volley ball courts, tennis courts, dog parks and 5 internationally recognized museums including the Dali. Downtown St. Pete renowned for world class dining and unique shopping, hop aboard the trolley and visit over 15 craft breweries within 3 miles. If golf is your thing, many public and private courses within a 10 minute drive. Take a sunset cruise over Tampa Bay or dine out on Beach Drive while watching the boats in the harbor.

We have other properties in the area with a pool, please call us if you are interested in a more luxurious property with a pool.

Please note, we often allow guests to check in earlier than 4 PM. Obviously the cleaning crew may still be on site if we are allowing an early check in. As guests when we travel, we usually go to a grocery store on the way to the home we have rented, plus we often have a rental car full of luggage, and we like to get all of those items out of the vehicle and into the home before we head out for lunch. Bottom line, we are often wearing the "guests hat" and many hosts (usually operated by large rental companies) do NOT allow early check in, which we find EXTREMELY inconvenient, thus we try to accommodate guests the way we would like to be accommodated when we travel. Same holds true for how we try to stock a home with necessities like dishwashing and laundry soap, TP, paper towels and trash bags.

Unique Benefits

A home facing Tampa Bay in St. Petersburg that also faces due WEST. That may not be as unique as a Unicorn, Big Foot, or a Hole in One, but it is almost as close. Home gets lots of Sunshine, wonderful sunsets and a view that is looking directly downtown. There is no property that has more going for it in St. Petersburg in regard to these attributes.

Area Information

Very Safe Neighborhood. This neighborhood is considered by far the nicest in St. Petersburg and one of the nicest in Florida.

Attractions Within Walking Distance

Many people walk, jog, bike in this neighborhood. You will be looking directly at downtown from the backyard. Several guests have walked, jogged or biked from this home to downtown. I personally prefer to Uber, but since i am local, and not on vacation, i am limited on time. When our family jogs or bikes, we do so from this location. You can see North Shore Park across the water. There is a world class competitive pool that routinely holds swim meets at North Shore. There is also a "splash" pool with two large slides for kids. There are tennis courts and on the beach, there are many volleyball courts. Downtown is full of restaurants (recently ranked as #1 City in US for Foodies, but no French Restaurant#@#$%$#@!). There is plenty of nightlife including music and theater venues. There are three museums and a muti screen movie theater. Many guests have come for the Sailing Regattas.

Favorite Places To Eat

Too many great restaurants to name. I am happy to provide guidance dependent upon your dining preferences. But i would start with Beach Drive which means i narrowed it down to about 20 LOL. There are many other options besides Beach Drive, but i feel everyone should start with Beach Drive and if they have time, try some of the other local spots such as Urban Stillhouse Restaurant.
