About the owner: We both play competitive softball, David on a men's team and Penne on a ladies team. We travel all over the US and usually are going in different directions. We love being able to take a break and come to the Cape for rest and relaxation and to enjoy the peace and ambiance of it. When we aren't there we are happy to share our home so that others can experience the Cape
Why this property? We live in Colorado and are pleased that we invested in property on the Cape. The ambiance and seclusion without hi rises and go carts and fast food places really appealed to us. Of course the Cape has changed somewhat but continues to be a magical place to come and enjoy the beach, wildlife and much more.
Years ago when we came to the Cape on a camping trip we loved it so much that we decided to make an investment there. That was 34 years ago when the Cape was very much uninhabited and quite a magical place. It continues to have the quiet atmosphere since there are no high rises, go cart tracks or fast food restaurants there. There are hiking trails, lots of wildlife, parks, nature walks and even two new pickle ball courts. Even though we had hurricane damage we are in for the long haul at the Cape. It is worth it!
Hurricane Opal was our first home on the Cape. When she took it from us we were excited to find an area on the Cape to rebuild that offered more ambiance, tranquility and privacy. The beaches are very wide, less populated and offer an abundance of wild life and good fishing.

Beach house
The house was in a great location very close to the beach. Very nice pool. The house does need some stuff replaced like the grill was rusted, and some of the pot holders and kitchen stuff could use an upgrade. One of the bedrooms does not have a TV.
