Come enjoy the beautiful, sugar-white, sand and emerald green water of the gulf at this classic beach cottage. There are two bedrooms in the main house and a detached guest house with bedroom, en-suite full bath and laundry room with full size washer and dryer. There is a completely private outdoor shower to rinse off the salt and sand after a long day in the sun. The open family room and kitchen offer spectacular views of amazing sunsets. A designated path leads you down from the patio to the sandy beach, for days full of sun, fun and laughter. The large patio, overlooking the beach, is the perfect place to drink your morning coffee or enjoy a cocktail and cookout with the family.
Whether it’s sipping the morning cup of coffee on the back porch while watching for passing dolphins, having a glass of wine while witnessing a gorgeous sunset or drifting off to sleep listening to the waves crash, we think you’ll agree that this is the perfect place to experience the world’s most beautiful beaches. Built in 1960, our home is not fancy. No stainless steel appliances or marble countertops. It's a beach cabin. It's comfortable, cozy and has the world's greatest backyard! Inside the main house are two bedrooms. The beach/master bedroom has a kingsize bed and a half bath ensuite. The second bedroom is the bunk room. There is a twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle below. This is great for kids but not that comfortable for two adults. The full bathroom in the main house has the world's tiniest shower. In 24 years our family has rarely used it, as the outdoor shower is great!
The separate house/guest cottage sits between the main house and the road. It has a bedroom with a king size bed and a full bathroom with shower en suite. The laundry room is also in this building.
Sleeps 4 adults and 4 kids comfortably (can sleep 6 adults if using the pull out sofa bed).
We are pet-friendly but do ask that you keep pets off of the beds and furniture. Excessive pet hair left behind will result in additional cleaning fee. Dogs are not legally allowed on the beach behind the house. However considering that the beach is usually not crowded, we have not had issues with taking our dogs out there. With the separate guest house, our place is perfect for two small families or grandparents.

We are on the beach in Kiska Beach, which is located on the west end of Panama City Beach, not far from Santa Rosa Beach, Seaside, Rosemary Beach and 30a.
Lotts of Sun is just minutes from Pier Park, the 900,000+ square foot shopping and entertainment hub, featuring a variety of restaurants like Margaritaville, Pompano Joes, Five Guys Burgers, Dick's Last Resort, and Dave and Busters, to name just a few. Pier Park also includes The Grand 16 Movie Theater, featuring Imax movies. This quaint beach bungalow is also just minutes to the locals favorites such as Thomas Donuts', the Carousel Grocery Store, Sharky's and more.

Four out of five inquiries are asking about our proximity to the beach. Just to be clear, we have a single family home (not townhouse or condo) right on the beach. Our house sits in the dunes overlooking the beach and the walkway goes right from the door of our house to the sands of the beach. We have recently added drone photos.

We sleep a maximum of 10 people (4 kids on the bunk beds, 4 adults in the two king size beds). There can be no more than 6 adults if using the sleeper sofa. No one over 95 pounds is allowed on the bunk beds.

About the owner: The Lott / Bush family first stuck their toes in the warm, sugary white sand on the west end of Panama City Beach in the late 50’s and haven’t left since. During this time we’ve owned several homes in the Sunnyside community and when given the opportunity in the late 90’s we purchased our current cozy home, Lotts of Sun from a family friend. Our family grew up here, raised our kids, grandkids and now great grand kids on this stretch of pristine beach. And, while we certainly appreciate the restaurants, entertainment and shopping at nearby 30A and Pier Park, we are happy that things on our stretch of the beach haven’t changed that much. No high-rise condos or noisy, crowded beaches.
Why this property? Our home sits in the sand! No busy roads to cross, no dragging your chair and umbrella for blocks to get to the beach. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back porch watching the waves crash and your evening meal watching the sun set slowly over the gulf. You simply cannot beat this view or location. While we may not have a swimming pool on the property, the Gulf of Mexico is in our backyard, just 50 yards out the back door.
- NO SATURDAY CHANGEOVER for Daily or Weekly rentals during high season.
High season (June & July) we offer only weekly rentals and our change-over day is Sunday. Avoid the mass exodus of Saturday!

Are you near the beach?
Yes, we are a single family home right on the beach. Not a condo.
What day can we check in?
During high season (May 31 - August 2) we offer weekly rentals only with check-in and check-out on Sunday.
Outside of high season guests may check-in and out on any day except Saturday.
Can we bring our pets?
Your well-behaved pets are welcome as long as you pay the pet fee, they don’t get on the furniture or beds and you clean up after them. Excessive pet hair or poop left in the yard will result in a double cleaning fee.
How many people do you accommodate?
We have two king beds (4 adults) and a bunk bed with trundle (4 kids). Adults are not allowed on the bunks (95# limit). There is also a sleeper sofa that can accommodate 2 adults.

This is a great house at the perfect location. Marty was wonderful to work with and very responsive to all our messages. While everything is nice with this rental, our two best things about the place is being just a few steps from the sand and sitting on the patio watching the dolphins and sunsets! This is our 2nd time at the beach house. This home is comfortable & tastefully decorated in a Nautical Theme. The backyard is Spectacular..."Your own beach & views of the Gulf of Mexico."
