Recommend for a quiet stay in a very homey environment. Very Satisfied.

We gave this 5 stars but my husband wanted to do 4 1/2. The reason he was disappointed that the dock and pier are set up for fishing, but the staff knew nothing about it. Also, seems like it would be smart to sell like bait and fishing essentials on site there. The cottage was very clean, and nicely decorated. We felt right at home there. Really a sweet atmosphere.

Deluxe cottage

We found the cottage cute comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls and utensils. The Tradewinds was an awesome spot and everyone was so friendly. The location was awesome. We will definitely return.

cozy and clean with every thing you need

the location is great and every thing is in walking distance . the beach is across the street and the shopping and resturants and bars are about a block down from the resort .

Tradewinds

The management company office employees were perfect !!! Anything we asked for or needed was taken care of immediately. My only downside was three doors down they were redoing a unit so pounding until 9pm or so every night and nails in the parking lot where we parked that we had to watch for so we didn't get any flat tires . The location is great it's cozy and we enjoyed our stay .

So enjoyable-love this place!

I would recommend a stay here 100%. It was so relaxing and very close to the bay and pool area. A short 1 block walk to the beach. Everything was clean and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for a quick trip to AMI

My wife and I needed a place to stay to come see our son who's in Bradenton playing baseball. We wanted a place that was near or on the beach and close to lots of restaurants and shops. We chose Tradewinds and it was perfect. The 1 bedroom condo was exactly what we needed. Everything was in working order, the A/C was cold, the condo was very clean, and the office staff was friendly. My only recommendation is the TVs were rather small. I know we were at the beach and weren't supposed to be watching a lot of TV. But the college world series was on and it rained a couple of days. The only thing I'd change would be to install larger TVs. Other than that, great stay and we'd recommend.

Outstanding Property

For our first time on this property, in an area that I have come to admire, we have nothing but positive comments about the property, amenities and the staff were outstanding. A short walking distance to a beautiful beach, turquoise water, a pool on the property and a short pier to the bay. It's literally everything you could ask for. We did not rent a car but found a local business that rented us a golf cart and we were able to navigate the island without any problems. The locals and tourists were so friendly. Easter Vaca

The cottage we stayed was perfect for my family of 4. Everything we needed and the space was very clean and well decorated. We felt right at home and the location was great. Just a 5min walk to the private beach and within walking distance to some restaurants/cafe. We feel like we found a hidden gem and we are looking forward to our next stay.

Awesome stay

We had a wonderful stay it was myself and my two granddaughters they came for spring break. It was so nice the first two nights we were in unit 25 which was very nice and clean, I talked to one of the owners because I had to go to an appointment on wed morning and it was going to take half a day so she set it up so we could come back and go to a different unit from Wednesday till Friday morning the owners and the property management are very nice, friendly and understanding people. The second unit #20 was a bit larger and we loved it. It was right next to the pool and fishing dock. We meant so many friendly guest. The whole street has like duplex cottages, all different colors down the whole street on both sides of the road. Very very quaint. You would just love it there. I would recommend coming to this resort it is called Tradewinds Resort it’s close to bridge street.

Fabulous view from the lanai!

The location is amazing, tucked between the Gulf and the intercoastal/estuary. The condo is spacious, comforable and clean. It provided a relaxing backdrop for a wonderful vacation. I very much appreciatated the jacuzzi, and the washer and dryer within the unit. We will be back!

7 wonderful nights

The bay view was a real treat, especially watching the sun rise. The pool was relaxing I looked forward to it everyday. Short walk to the beach and to many restaurants. Friendly staff and everywhere was CLEAN! Our unit was comfortable and supplied our every need. 2 days before we left our refrigerator died. I called the office and she said maintenance would be there in 5 minutes. They not only were there in 5 minutes but they brought a replacement refrigerator already cooled!! Amazing.. can’t wait to go back.

A Slice of Heaven

The condo was perfect for our little family! We walked back and forth to the beach a few times a day, took a quick drive to Publix or to get a bite to eat. It had everything we needed inside too- we really couldn't have asked for more!

Steps to the beach, pool, & back deck on the bay!

My husband and I 100% enjoyed our stay at Tradewinds! It felt like a quiet, cozy cottage which was charming & extremely clean! The kitchen & bathroom were stocked. Fluffy towels, soaps, kitchen utensils, paper products, etc. We walked everywhere as it’s directly across from the ocean, close to all restaurants, nightlife, trolley stops, & some shops. The pool was beautiful as well as the back deck overlooking the bay. Wow! Sunrises, sunsets, shelling, walking, swimming in the ocean, enjoying music & delicious seafood by ocean breezes. Wonderful neighbors all around. An exceptional stay!

Cute little bungalow.

Tradewinds Anna Maria Island

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Folks are friendly and a great location on both the intercoastal and gulf side with private beach with chairs & umbrellas included. A free trolly out front that will drop you at your desired location on the island. Comfortable accommodations and nice restaurants within walking distance.

Wonderful vacation

Great location

This compound is made up of attractive various units across then street from the gulf and sits along the ICW. Our unit was tastefully decorated and had a hot tub accessible to only 4 units. Even though our weather was horrid we were quite comfortable inside watching torrents of rain fall all around us. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good Clean Condo, Friendly Staff

Pro: Location, beach chairs, towels provided. Friendly staff. Laundry machines are availble if needed. Condo was clean and quiet.Cons: I stayed in #34 and the ceiling fan would come on without me putting it on. A couple times the dishwasher did the same thing (weird). One night the smoke alarm went off and nothing was on to set it off. Maintance, took the bulb out so at least the light would not come on in the celing fan and also took the battery out. (Staff was excellent when these items were reported) I don't know if other condos have the same issue, but staff did not seem surprised when reported.Overall, I would stay in one of the condo's again, they are nice and close to water and tram.

Wonderful stay at Tradewinds Resoet

We spent 9 nights at the resort and everything was great. We stayed in unit 9. The unit was clean and well stocked with everything to make our stay enjoyable. The office staff was helpful and very responsive to our needs. The grounds were well kept. The pool was well maintained. The beach was a short walk across the street. Chairs were available on the beach. Umbrellas and a variety of beach toys were available at the office. Bridge street is a short walk and has a variety of restaurants. Other restaurants are even closer than Bridge Street. There is a free trolly on the island but we enjoy walking so didn’t take advantage of it. If your plans include a trip to Anna Maria Island I would highly recommend checking out Tradewinds.

Best Vacation Ever!

The Tradewinds Resort exceeded our expectations in every way! Linda, the owner, responded and answered all our questions quickly and it was exactly as she described. The beach is across the street and the pool is wonderful with a beautiful view of the bay. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area were always helpful. The cottage we were in was the perfect space for us. We will definitely return to this slice of paradise!

Bradenton Beach Staycation at the Trade Winds

great location, cute cottage, need to upgrade beach chairs

These cottages are newly renovated and while they're not fancy, they are clean and beachy. Our room was at the end close to the pier and pool which was nice but we would have preferred to be closer to the street/beach. We loved walking down to Bridge St for lunch and dinner. Check in and check out was quick and easy. My only complaint is that the beach chairs could use an upgrade and I wish someone could have helped get our umbrella set up. In the future, I might just bring my own chair and umbrella and go to the beach directly across the street instead of up the road a bit across from their sister property Tortuga Inn where they keep their chairs.

Our bay view ground floor unit was clean and comfortable for my husband and I and our dog. We loved the grassy area for her, the pier, the friendliness of neighbors/staff, the pool and closeness to the beach. A noise issue above us was handled promptly.

Our vacation Stay

Everything was neat and clean. My complaint is that we were moved without our agreement to a different room. It was not acceptable as the reason we picked the other room was for the dogs. Katie who worked the front desk brought her own personal kennel so we had a place to put the dogs when we were gone from the room. Katie gets an A+ the person who moved us gets an F.

Perfect location

The cottage was clean, bright and cheerful. The location was great as it was located on Gulf Drive. Easy access to beach across the street and a nice fishing pier located at the end of the line of cottages. Chairs and umbrellas were also available at the beach. I would definitely recommend Tradewinds. Hope to return some day.

Tidy Tradewinds

When my husband and I arrived at the Tradewinds Resort, we were impressed with how clean and "Tidy" the resort appeared. Our Unit #4 was very clean and very nicely decorated. Tradewinds #10

Tradewinds is a qaint, quiet old Florida style lodging. Modern, very clean and well appointed unit! Near beach, food and shopping. Bradenton Beach proper is not commercialized in respect to beachwear, restaurants or lodging. The bay on one side and the beach on the other is perfect! The resort supplies beach umbrellas, chairs and towels. They also supply lounge chair on the beach. Be advised the chairs on the beach are secured and unlocked around 9am. Also, there is a rental co. That takes a portion of the beach and water with its craft. They will ask you to move if you set up on their side. There are no visable boundaries. If you are too close to their set up, the wave runners are anchored at a diagonal, leaving you to walk to one side or another to enter the water safely. The water....OH, MY!!!! From unit #10, which is mid way, to the water is approximately 300 yds. 200 yds is paved and the last bit is a wooden ramp then silky soft sugar white sand to the waters edge. The lounge chairs provided are at the end of the ramp. The decor is lovely as is the kitchen well appointed. Several pots, pans, casserole dishes, utensils, grilling utensils as well as, Dish soap, paper towels, dish washer detergent, linens and towels are provided. The bed was firm and very comfortable! Cable TV is available in the bedroom and living room. The WiFi was sufficient. A charcole grill/smoking area is provided at each ends of the units. A concrete table and benches and trellis decorated with foliage will keep you cool and help to relax you while you grill. The grounds are decorated with tropical foliage as well; old Florida feel. The pool, pool chairs, tables, pool deck, fencing and gates were all sparkling clean! The lawn was highly maintained. Everyday someone was spraying, wiping and decontaminating all surfaces, cleaning and straightening things! The employees were all very helpful, prompt and very polite! Whad a few little snaffu's that were very promptly dealt with and exceeded our expectations. Our stay was 10 days not enough! We highly recommend staying at Trade winds #10! The owners are a pleasure to work with!

Tortuga resort

Nice resort, Not crowded during the week, although weekends are quite hectic. Very nice location next to the beach and bay on th backside. Free chairs, towels and beach umbrellas were great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pools and spas for private use closed too early as a negative.

Couple Vaca

This is the second time we have rented with Linda. She is a fabulous host. Very easily accessible and her rental is Always clean and is nicely updated. The location is walking distance to some of our fav restaurants, wicked cantina and bridge tender and directly across from beach access. Thank you for a wonderful stay:)

Tradewinds cottage

We stayed for a month at the Tradewinds Resort in one of their cottages. A very intimate environment, close to many restaurants, nice gulf beach, and a private setting at the well equipped cottage. Very friendly people. Only downside: extremely poor internet. Quiet and comfortable with nice amenities such as beach umbrellas and laundry facilities on site. Very helpful and accommodating staff. And Renee is the gatekeeper and does an excellent job!

Wonderful Stay, Great Resort

Beautifully updated cottage on AMI.Easy access to beaches, restaurants, and shopping. The staff at the Trade Winds were courteous and helpful. The beds are very high and I am short so trying to get into the bed was quite amusing. Next time I will bring a step stool. The shower, although beautiful, did not have any grab bars or a shelf to put your shampoo, body wash, etc. Also, you had to step into the shower to turn on the water and got sprayed with cold water. Shower head was not adjustable enough to re direct the spray. A hand towel hook above the toilet would have been useful. Other than those minor issues it was a beautiful cottage and a great stay. Looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect location and pet friendly

We loved our little cottage. It was clean and had everything we needed... nice size kitchenette with table and nice size bedroom and family sitting area. The pool was nice as were the restrooms and showers near the pool. I loved that it was dog friendly, although I did not take my dog on this trip. The trolley stop was just a short walk from the resort as was the beach access. It was about 20 minute walk to Anna Maria and about 10 minute walk to Cortez but we only walked because we wanted the exercise. The trolley took us every place we needed to go when we didn't want to walk. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location!!

The condo was perfectly located for us and a short drive to the beach! There is a shopping plaza right beside this location. Everything we needed eg. restaurants, grocery and liquor store. Condo was at ground level and we were able to park close to our door. Beds were very comfortable. Maria was quick to respond to our texts and was very accommodating. Thanks so much Maria. We hope to stay again :)

Lovely stay
