Cape Cottage bliss

Our week at Cape Cottage was the best week we have spent in a rental home! It was our first time to the Cape and we felt so comfortable in this home! The owners keep beach chairs, sand toys and all types of floats/boards etc for your use. Inside, we had use of baby gates and a pack and play, which was fabulous that we didn’t have t pack these things for our almost two year old grandson .Mary Margaret goes over and above answering questions for your planning. We will definitely be back!

A great stay on the Cape

We’ve been to the north Cape 3 times, and this was our favorite house yet. It’s second row but has great gulf views and is a shorter walk to the beach than some beach front homes we’ve stayed in. The home is tastefully decorated and fully stocked. We really appreciated the baby gates, well-stocked kitchen, and especially the guest storage closet. There’s no need to bring chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, etc. It’s all there, along with an extra fridge. The shared pool was never crowded and bigger than most pools on the Cape. The owner is super responsive also. We had a beautiful vacation.

Heaven at CSB

Another perfect week at Cape Cottage on Cape San Blas! Beautiful House!!

My family loves Cape San Blas and our favorite house is this one. It has all the space we need plus some. The short walk to the beach is so nice and having a shower and toilet right as we step off the pathway from the beach is the best. The kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, utensils and so much more. We always have everything we need to enjoy our week at the beach.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This is our third trip to Cape Cottage and we would not stay anywhere else! It’s our home away from home and it has everything that you need. If you want to cook in the grill is right there and works great. The shops and restaurants of St. Joe are close - the food is varied and good and the people are very friendly. Beach time is a few steps away from the house for walking the beach, watching the beautiful sunsets and playing frisbee with the dog. So enjoyable that we can’t wait to come back!

Cape Cottage Review

This was our first time to the Port Saint Joe/Cape San Blas area and it exceeded all of our expectations! Mary Margaret’s house was everything we could have asked for and more…from the view, to the small extras provided, to the pool! Not only did the house earn a 10/10 but Mary Margaret did as well! She went above and beyond to help with any questions we had about the house or the area. I would recommend cape cottage to anyone and we will definitely be back!

Great Family Christmas Vacation

This home was a great family / kids/ dog friendly vacation home with easy access to the beautiful beach. It was the most equipped vacation home we have ever rented. Not only was the kitchen fully equipped, they also had beach chairs, beach toys, puzzles, games and even baby gates for each staircase. The elevator was a game changer with the kitchen and one master on the third level. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were all very good sizes. The living space was very comfortable and plenty of room for the toddlers to run around. We loved having a large dining table. The owner was great and available even on Christmas Eve. We would love to rent this house again in the future!!

Already looking forward to next year!

This was our second time staying at Cape Cottage and it is our favorite place on the Cape! The house is perfectly situated for large families, and especially multi-generational families. The 2 master suites are great and my mother enjoyed the top level master, which is on the same level as the kitchen/den and allowed her to avoid the stairs most of the day. Of course, the elevator is also available and greatly appreciated for heavy bags and groceries! The views from every room are amazing and we enjoyed the multiple porches. We also appreciate all of the beach gear and toys so we can pack less of our own. The owners are extremely responsive and helpful if you have any issues during your stay. We have already booked the same week next year and cannot wait to have another relaxing family Thanksgiving on the Cape.

Our family enjoyed Cape Cottage

Our family spent much time on the beautiful beach, as it was so close to the house. We loved how well the kitchen was stocked. We found the book of information very useful & tried out some of the restaurants. The house is beautiful & we thoroughly loved our stay, & that is why we booked it for the same time next year.

Perfect for all

The location is perfect distance from the beach about 30 steps. One can sit on the screened deck or open deck watching the ocean. The elevator and pool put it over the top. The hot water in the shower allowed you to clean up downstairs and not bring any wet or sand into the home. If you have children, they can have their own floor and living room area. This home really has it all. Multiple deck areas, areas to break up large groups, indoor or outdoor eating will seat 9 easy. Kitchen has everything one needs. Nice bike path just a short walk/ride. Easy walk to small store. Downstairs outside closet has a full refrigerator, outside chairs, some floats for all ages. We have rented for a few years in this area. Cape Cottage is by all means the best. We look forward to next year.

Love the beach access

Cape Cottage was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The location was steps from the beach - no need to pack up the kids in the car - so easy & no stress! The pool was so inviting after being on the beach, too. Cape Cottage is also dog & kid friendly. We hope to come back again!

Staying at Cape Cottage

We have stayed at Cape San Blas several times. This was the first time staying at Cape Cottage. It was the best beach house we stayed in at Cape San Blas. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. My husband is not a big beach person but enjoyed the home and using the pool nearby. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

211 Haven

This home is one of the best layouts for family. A lot of indoor and outdoor space. The views are beautiful and the peaceful evenings on the beach and many deck areas to set and just take in the beauty. Definitely one of the best homes that we have visited. The kitchen had absolutely everything thing we needed to prepare meals. Very clean and prompt when we alerted the owner the pool had not been cleaned it was taken care of the same day. Would love to bring my family back again!

Wonderful Home

This home was just wonderful. Steps from the beach, no shoes needed to get there. Fully stocked kitchen. Comfy beds and lots of space for our 3 families. Plenty of beach chairs and beach toys for the kids. Would definitely book this house again. Cape San Blas is a beautiful area filled with the friendlest people and plenty to do or just relax and do nothing and soak up the sun.

Wonderful beach home

We had a wonderful vacation at Cape San Blas. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back. Many thanks to our hosts at Cape Cottage. The house was beautifully appointed and the owners have thought of everything. We love the kitchen and cooking equipment. There was a great desk/office nook where we could check in on virtual work if desired. WiFi was consistently strong. Top of the line smart tv’s where we could log in to all our streaming services. The elevator was super convenient to load and unload groceries and supplies. We didn’t even have to unload our beach toys from our car because there were plenty of buckets/shovels/boogie boards and even a shovel for digging a bonfire pit on the beach. Our favorite home on the Cape!

This was the 3rd home we have rented in CSB over the past few years and we have already booked it again for next year!!! The first tier views are amazing!! The floorplan is great for a multi-generational family (2 master bedrooms, queen room, bunk room and extra TV/teen room for the older kids). The location cannot be beat - both in convenience to the Trading Post and very short walk to the beach! It was too cold to enjoy the pool, but I know it would be appreciated in the summer heat. The house was fully stocked for cooking, the games and puzzles were appreciated (we even donated a few to the collection) and the beach gear included everything we needed! The home was very clean and comfortable and the elevator was helpful for suitcases and groceries. We truly didn't want to leave... so we booked our next trip on the drive home! Now we're just counting down the days until next Thanksgiving week! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us - we thoroughly enjoyed some much needed family time after a difficult year.

Love love love!!!

We absolutely loved this home! This was our 3rd year at the Cape and first time staying at Cape Cottage and we have already booked again for next year. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed! The views from the top porch are spectacular and was my favorite spot to sit! Last year we struggled with the biting flies so we were happy to have the screened porch option however we didn’t really need it this year due to very little to no bug issues this time but you never know. The kids loved the pool and we were only a few steps from being on the beach. The extra refrigerator and all the beach toys and chairs (nice comfortable chairs I might add) were such a blessing to have! Owners even went the extra mile and left us firewood to use and we were so thankful for that! We had a couple very minor issues but the owners took care of it right away! They were so easy to communicate with and attentive to any needs we had and I feel they went above and beyond. There were so many reasons we were more than excited to book with them again!

Cape Cottage

We spent a wonderful week at Cape Cottage!! We enjoyed the wonderful view from the decks!! Front of the house had a sunrise view over the Bay and the back decks and screened in porch were so comfortable, perfect for having our morning coffee. Fabulous!

We stayed for a week with our family and had a fabulous time! Mary Margaret is extremely helpful. I even left a very valuable ring by mistake and her housekeeping crew found it and mailed it to me. Good view of the beach very convenient and so much fun! We are going back this year!

Love this place

This was our third year in a row to stay at this house and it was just as enjoyable as our previous 2 visits. It is only a short walk to the beach and even though the pool is shared with a few other houses, it was hardly ever used. Therefore we had no problem using it when we wanted to. My favorite thing to do was to sit on the top level porch in the morning while drinking my coffee and having my quite time. You can see the beach and feel the ocean breezes. The elevator, outside bathroom, outside shower and beach toys round out the amenities to make this the perfect place to stay. It also helps that the property is less than 2 minutes to one of the local grocery stores. As well, the owner is very responsive to text messages and very flexible. We wound not want to stay anywhere else in Cape San Blas and at this point, we would not want to go to any other beach than Cape San Blas.

Great time at Cape Cottage Cape San Blas, Fl

Mary Margaret was a great host by keeping us informed about our stay from booking till we left. The house was fabulous with great views of the beach and ocean. Great location on the Cape for riding bikes to the store and especially Ice Cream and Donuts. The kids loved the pool right next to the property. This was our 5th year staying on the Cape and one of the best.

The best post COVID vaccine there is- quiet, relaxation and fresh air

This property is perfect for our large family. It's our third time in this same house, which is close to the beach, Weber's Little Donut Shop and the Cape Trading Post. The Cape is perfect for those that want to have space on the beach, without the distractions that come with more populous areas. There isn't enough space to write all the good things here! Just to say, we'll be back!

Perfect for Multiple Families

The location is amazing - only a few steps to the beach and shared pool. We enjoy having many outside seating areas to view the beautiful beach, escape the bugs on the screened porch, or have a quiet moment to yourself on the front/side porch. We ate every meal in (except 2) and had everything we needed (and more) in the stocked kitchen. There were plenty of dishes for meals not suitable for paper plates, a griddle for pancakes, pitchers for tea and fruity drinks, and a small crock-pot for making boiled peanuts to snack on. We LOVE having the refrigerator in the utility room outside for all the beverages for the week! We didn't bring our dog this year but love having that option. We will be back again and again! Mary Margaret is the best to work with as well.

Perfect vacation spot for our family!

We just got home from vacationing at Cape Cottage. Our crew included 11 people: parents, grown children with spouses, friends, and three grand boys! The room in the house and the layout gave us plenty of spaces to spread out. The house itself is beautiful and well-decorated in stylish yet comfortable beach decor.The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need! We cook a lot! The chairs and beach toys provided made our beach days so easy. Storage room, extra refrigerator, and beach/pool level bathroom and outdoor shower gave great convenience. We loved grilling downstairs while boys played. All the extra porches gave opportunities for quiet reading and viewing sunrise/sunset. Stores close by plus ice cream and doughnuts in walking distance made this place perfect. Views were amazing! The shared pool was nice. We easily parked four vehicles. Half our week included tropical storms, but we still were able to enjoy beach time each day. Must visit Tortuga Moon, the new gift shop next door to the Trading Post. Rent your bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards from Cape San Flea. He is so reasonable! I'd definitely book this house again!

Great Christmas Getaway

We had a great time at a beautiful home on Cape San Blas, Fl. The place was clean and well taken care of. There is a beautiful view of the beach from the top deck. Love that we can bring our dog. I would highly recommend to stay there.

Perfect beach home, great for families and kids!

Cape Cottage never disappoints! This is our 3rd year in a row to stay in Cape San Blas at this house. The layout is perfect for our needs with a Master bed and bath on both levels, a bunk room for smaller kids and a queen room for older kids. It is a perfect location - close to the Trading Post and Weber's Donuts, and just steps away from the beach and shared pool! We are looking forward to many more family beach trips to Cape Cottage!

Relaxation Central

We used Cape Cottage as relaxation central with another family. There were 10 of us and everyone had their own space and the decor immediately relaxed us. The proximity to the beach and the Trading Post meant we weren't in the house a lot but that's what we wanted - convenience to the beach and privacy when we weren't at the beach.The house is in the middle of the Cape so it's very convenient if you're going to the state park or back into Port St. Joe. The outdoor open area was great.

Incredible house with awesome access to pool AND beach!

Wonderful and cleaned beyond COVID standards. Sunrise on one side and sunset on the other! Spacious home designed well for guests to have their space or be together! Excellent WiFi service and desk for those still trying to work! Top balcony and 2nd floor screened porch FABULOUS! Perfect rental to truly relax and feel the natural effects of beach and also enjoy activities of the area! Kitchen well equipped and extra frig downstairs is awesome. Our family enjoyed horseback riding and also renting pontoon boat for an afternoon! Owners are responsive to any need or concern and you will be happy with your choice to stay here!

Nice Home

Mary Margaret is a great hostess. Cape Cottage had a well equipped kitchen, making cooking a pleasure. This is a very nice home accommodating several families comfortably. An elevator makes moving luggage and groceries to each floor a breeze. A fabulous time was had by all!

Wonderful pet-friendly beach house

Cape Cottage was a fantastic place to stay. Everything was sparkling clean when we arrived, the kitchen was well appointed and there were plenty of beach chairs, toys etc. The house is 2nd row but it is so close to the access it feels like first row. The screened in porch was great.
