Equipped for 6 persons with dishes, sheets, towels, washer, dryer, iron, stove & oven, microwave, coffee maker, ceiling fans, central air conditioning, stereo, TV-set, personal computer, and WLAN internet access.
Nearest beach is about 10 minutes ride by car, nearest golf course is approx. 3 minutes ride by car.
The vacation home is centrally located in a single family small home residential zone down-town. Our offer is addressed to individuals who don't feel comfortable in typical touristic surrounding.
Lanai & pool deck are caged.
TV reception is digital HDTV via antenna, programming is comparable to basic cable subscription.
Area Information
Covering 820 square miles, Port Charlotte is located north of the Peace River with 165 miles of canals and waterways accessing Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico. There are also miles and miles of natural shoreline bordering the Peace and Myakka Rivers, making it an ideal choice for waterfront living and recreation. In all, 14,004 private boats, 28 marinas, 15 public beach access sites, 13 boat ramps and two sailing schools dot the county’s extensive shoreline. The county also boasts about two dozen parks, numerous recreation areas and a federal wildlife refuge.
Twenty-one golf courses, tennis courts (10 public) and public pools, as well as four YMCAS get lots of use from residents. The waterways are sites for a host of competitive events, including fishing tournaments and boat/yacht races.
It’s also worth noting, the Everglades National Park, one of the most spectacular natural ecosystems in the United States, is only a short drive away.

Our stay at Meehan was very enjoyable. The house met all our needs for the month of our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels. All the appliances worked well and each bedroom had a tv. We especially enjoyed the pool and that Meehan is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood close to shopping, eating out and Pickleball. We definitely would stay again.

I loved the rental! The pool was nice and enjoyed by everyone. I really liked the master suite's shower, nice and roomy! I felt like the bathrooms needed a plunger in each, just in case and hand soap in both would've been nice. The kitchen and living area were really beautiful and comfortable! I liked that it was painted yellow on the outside because it was easy to spot in the night. We really enjoyed our stay at Meehan Avenue and liked that it was close to stores and main highways. Thanks for the stay!
