Hurricanes Helene and Milton inflicted heavy damage to our beautiful condo but we're back better than ever. Now features a fully remodeled kitchen, hurricane windows that make it very cool and quiet, a luxury soaking tub for those that like a bubble bath, and much more storage space.

This beautiful second floor unit features fantastic views from the kitchen, dining room and living room with a screened balcony overlooking the intercoastal waterway of Boca Ciega Bay. Enjoy morning coffee, lunch or evening drinks watching dolphins and from time to time manatees playing or lounging in the waterway.

The water views are fantastic and pelicans, herons, and other birds are on the dock and grasses daily. A family of large green parakeets also visits across the street - quite entertaining!

The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig coffee and cappuccino machine, blender, toaster, extensive kitchen utensils, Staub and Apilco baking and serve ware, Kitchen Aid cookware, Spanish blown glass mojito pitcher and glasses, and classic cactus margarita glasses. The dining room will comfortably seat 8 for dinner or serve as a wonderful place for 2 to dine and use the rest of the table to put together a large puzzle.

The master has a king size bed, ceiling fan, closet, televison and storage drawers. The ensuite bathroom has a large shower with Gray Malin bath sheets, shampoo and conditioner, body wash and soap, and an over the door storage for your own toiletries. In the master there is also a small vanity for hair care with blow dryer and baskets for cosmetics and other self care items in a standing storage shelf next to it for your convenience.

The second bedroom has a queen bed, premium sheeting, ceiling fan, closet and two book cases with baskets for additional storage.

The hall bathroom has a soaking tub, Gray Malin Bath Sheets, shampoo and conditioner, liquid hand soap, bath and shower gel and bath salts.

The renovation included a new full size washer and dryer - a big plus in these smaller condos - for your convenience.

There is also a large armoire at the entrance filled with LaCoste Cotton Beach towels, a beach kite, a basket for beach related toiletries and a large wheeled cooler. Please remember to respect the sun - even when it is cool the sun will still burn your tender skin so sunscreen every day is a must.

There are two love seats and one large sofa in the living room that are slip covered as well as two slip covered ottomans filled with soft, comfortable throw blankets for snuggling.

You may enjoy up to two wonderful doggies during your stay (35 pounds and under) and there are two nearby dog beaches (you must drive to them) one at Passagrille and another at Fort DeSoto.

This unit is on the second floor. There are 16 steps to the second floor. There is not an elevator.

There is also a large locked storage room for bikes, boards or kayaks.

The Boca Ciega Bay views are quite wonderful. The public beach is a 10 minute walk from the unit. On the corner nearby is a Waffle House - a southern delight perfect for breakfast - get your hash browns smothered and covered!

This is a small 6 unit Condominium with assigned parking spaces. No need to search for parking. Please note that this unit has 2 spaces if needed. Also, Unit 7 is a guest space if you need overflow parking.

You will see the Calypso in the evening as it makes its way through the waterway on the way to the open Boca Ciega Bay.

Its an easy walk to Waffle House, VIP for a great Burrito, BRGR Kitchen and Bar, Sloppy Joes, and further afield is Middle Grounds Grill (upscale) Foxy's, Taco Bus, Shells (closer to Pass-a-Grille) and the usual suspects: Pizza and ice cream parlours galore up and down Gulf Boulevard.

Don't miss an opportunity to experience The Columbia Restaurant at Sand Key. This 120 year old Tampa born gem is still family owned by the Gonzmart Family and their interest in always offering the best and highest quality of Spanish food and the best Sangria! Enjoy the 1905 Salad mixed at the table and the classic dish, chicken and yellow rice (arroz con pollo) Red Snapper Adelita, or any number of seafood selections. Also here is a gift shop featuring seasonings, olive oil, Spanish Pottery and Paella kits to take home for you or as a gift for someone special. And their cookbook is also available, the chef will autograph it if you ask!

Inside Scoop

There are LOTS of scallop shells to hunt for on your morning beach walk. The shelling is best after a storm so if by chance a storm keeps you in one day you can look forward to an interesting walk the next morning.

Treasure Island Beach is very walkable as there is a sidewalk if you prefer an even walking path or for the beach combing, the water is inviting and the sand very firm next to the water.

LEARN THE BEACH SHUFFLE! Shuffle your feet when walking in the surf as during manta ray season these gentle creatures are often taking a rest on the bottom of the shallows. Unlike other stingrays, manta rays do not have a stinging barb.

You may also see Manatees, gentle giants that look like a creature only Dr. Suess could dream up. Don't touch them or try to interact with them as they are PROTECTED and doing so may result in a fine. We take our manatees and their protection seriously in Treasure Island.

There is bicycle and kayak rental just next door to the Waffle House at Boat Dega Coastal Market - Say HELLO to Chewy the pooch while you are there. Chewy loves to greet people at the Waffle house. Save a little piece of bacon for him. He is not on a low salt diet so it is ok.

The Publix Supermarket is nearby and delivers with Instacart. Their Buy One Get One Free (BOGOS) change every Wednesday. Note: you have to get both products, getting only one will not give you a half price item...a Florida oddity. There is also a Publix iquor store next door. You will have to exit Publix on the first floor (the grocery store is located on the second floor accessible by elevator) and the liquor store is next door. You can buy liquor on Sunday.

Columbia Restaurant's 1905 Salad dressing is available at Publix. For truly authentic yellow rice without having to buy saffron, choose Vigo Yellow rice in the rice section at Publix. Their "PUB SUBS" are quite popular as well. They also have a great selection of ready to eat foods, a bakery (the Mountain Bread is an addiction waiting to happen. You have been warned) and the seafood department is quite accomodating. You have a LARGE stock pot that will accomodate a traditional low country boil if you desire to make one or will also come in handy for steaming crabs or lobsters!
