Excellent location to enjoy the local attractions on Dearborn Street. Walking distance to Farmers Market, restaurants, shops and parks. Landlord quick to respond to any concern. Screen lanai a bonus to enjoy morning coffee. Nearby boat ramp came in handy. Stayed for 6 months and would stay again.

I was at the Cocoanut Cottage for 3 1/2 months and it was wonderful. Rick and Sue were very responsive to my few issues, which were how to use the a/c and Roku tv system. If I hadn’t bought a house while I was in Florida , I would definitely return.

My husband and I stayed at Cottage on Cocoanut for 4 months, November 2020 through February 2021. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend the cottage over any other rental in the area. Ricky and Sue made our stay very enjoyable. If we needed them, they were only a phone call away as they live a mile and a half away. They were very accommodating and resourceful hosts. Some of the nicest people you will meet. The location of the cottage is what makes this rental so special. Historic Old Englewood is essentially one block away where you will be able to find boutique stores, coffee shops, and a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed taking our morning walks through the quaint neighborhood and evening bike rides to the docks. We are very clean people and I have always considered myself to have higher standards than most when it comes to cleanliness expectations. The cottage was well above my standards of clean. You will not find a cleaner, more detailed, home to rent than the Cottage on Cocoanut. Ricky and Sue take great pride in the ownership of the Cottage and it really shows by the time and care they pour into the home. The Cottage has recently been renovated so you will enjoy a new kitchen with granite countertops, new cabinets and appliances. The flooring has the nice new plank style flooring and was very easy to maintain. We were most impressed with the split unit air conditioner. It is whisper quiet and worked excellent! The Cottage on Cocoanut literally has everything you will need for a short term or long term stay. We truly appreciated that no detail was overlooked. The kitchen comes fully equipped with many surprising extras that you would not typically find in a rental home. We would definitely rent again!
