OUT OF THE BLUE

'Out of the Blue' is a stunning 4 bedroom 3 bath oceanfront home. Located in the oceanfront community of South Ponte Vedra Beach, between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, it is situated in a private area of single family homes (no high rises or high traffic here!)! It is serene and quiet....yet the house is just 7 miles from historic St. Augustine and 15 miles from posh Ponte Vedra. There are two master bedrooms, each with a king bed and full, private bathroom. One is upstairs, the other is down. They each have a small oceanfront balcony or patio, and a TV. There are two more bedrooms upstairs. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed and a fantastic, oceanfront balcony. The 4th bedroom is perfect for teens, kids, or an extra couple. There are two queen beds in this room and it has a small, oceanfront balcony. This bedroom also has a TV. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom. The living room is cozy and opens up to the dining area. You have views of the ocean from just about every corner of the house. The dining table has two benches and two end chairs, offering seating for 8.

The backyard offers a shady oceanfront oasis. The pavered patio is covered by a nice pergola. There is patio furniture there, making it a great place to enjoy a cold drink or a summer lunch. The back yard is fenced in (good for little ones), and has a bulkhead with stairs that lead down to the private beach. The garage has a washer and dryer, gas grill, beach chairs, and room for at least one car. There is additional parking in the driveway.

Plenty To Do

There are many activities in the areas in and around South Ponte Vedra. St. Augustine, the nation's oldest city, is home to many tourist attractions such as guided carriage rides, historic landmarks, the Fountain of Youth, and many more. There is plenty of shopping, dining, and nightlife in St. Augustine as well. There are several concerts in the outdoor amphitheater each month, as well as live music at some of the local waterfront restaurants such as the Conch House.

A short, scenic drive north from Out of the Blue will take you to posh Ponte Vedra and Sawgrass. Here you will find many elegant dining choices, upscale boutiques, cigar stores, and fine jewelry shoppes. Sawgrass is home to the PGA's annual TPC golf tournament. Less than one hour away is downtown Jacksonville, where you can catch a NFL Jacksonville Jaguars game, dine or shop at the riverfront Jacksonville Landing, or take in the sights at the Jacksonville Zoo.

If you are into outdoor activities, there are plenty of options to choose from. There are many types of fishing in the area including: surf fishing right from your beach, intracoastal fishing trips, and offshore full day excursions. There are kayaking trips available in St. Augustine as well as horseback riding, cycling, and hiking trails.

Do you golf? If so, pack your clubs because there are dozens of beautiful golf courses in the area. The World Golf Village is host to two marvelous 18 hole courses, an 18 hole putting course, and the World Golf Hall of Fame. St. Augustine has several public and semi-private courses as well as dozens of courses in Jacksonville, Ponte Vedra, and Jacksonville Beach. There are many dining choices in the area as well.
