My friend, my daughter, my 3 granddaughters (ages 9, 7, 5), and I stayed here for the first 2 weeks in November. We have travelled as a group many times and know exactly what we need for our stay. We eat all our meals in the condo, so a well- equipped kitchen is a must. We wanted a main floor unit for my friend, who has mobility issues, we wanted direct oceanfront with a view, we wanted a bathroom for each bedroom, and, of course, a heated pool. The Ashley is a great condo with underground parking, a hot tub (and saunas!) in the building, a games room, BBQs, a gorgeous pool, and an amazing clubhouse on the 20th floor with a view of the ocean, Daytona Beach, and the Intracoastal Waterway that will take your breath away. The office staff are friendly, helpful and professional.But the condo is what made the holiday. The view from the wall of windows directly facing the ocean is spectacular. The unit is very spacious and well laid out. The kitchen is one of the best equipped kitchens I've ever experienced in a condo. Dishes, glassware, cutlery, large bowls and pyrex pans, pots and pans, plenty of staples (spices, oil, sugar, flour, dish towels, tin foil/plastic wrap/parchment paper etc etc) and pantry storage galore. A full sized washer/dryer. Patio furniture to seat 6 or 7, as well as a small pub table . The unit is beautifully decorated. There are 2 small fridges in addition to the main fridge. There is a large supply of towels, both for the bathrooms and for the pool/beach. Lots of reading material and games. From this unit you can go through a gate in the railing around the patio and walk to the pool (no need to go through the building). This was great, because the kids could run back to the condo if they needed anything, and didn't need an adult with them. The gate to the pool has the latch located up really high, so the grandkids couldn't get in without an adult. There is a locker in the basement that contains every kind of beach item that you would ever need.The unit is very close to the Sunglow Pier (an easy walk) and the Daytona Beach main beach. Lots of shopping within 15 minutes on the "mainland". We didn't eat out anywhere, but there is lots of info on local restaurants in a binder in the unit. The hosts, Isabelle and Gilles, were wonderful to deal with. Very accommodating and responded quickly to any queries. You will NOT be disappointed with this condo!

This is a very nice condo. Great layout and wonderful location. It was the best stocked condo I have ever rented. A few minor updates would be nice, but nothing important. Rhonda was very quick to respond if we had a question. We would rent again.
